RIP Lucky Nube. I have to say to you all I have literally heard Lucky for the first time today (Feb 27, 2020) I read his story and I am so sad that I missed this talented young man in his life. All day I have been playing his music at top volume (almost, I have to think of the neighbours), and I am so proud of him and his achievements. Such a loss to the music world, to his wife and children. I will forever now remember him and I will support his daughter Nkulee in her journey, she too has a beautiful sound just like her father. Blessings going out to all Nube supporters. 😔😉

Lucky Dube is still the king of Reggae if you ask me. I know a lot of people probably don't agree with me but he's my favorite. I grew up listening to this man, still jamming his music till this very day. I'm just happy to see his band still lives on and celebrating his legacy and life.

Lucky Dubes song always keeps me going when I was away for 9 months in the desert of Afganistan fighting a complicated war... After a long hard day out on patrol I come back to my room and play his music all night long listening to his song gives you the chill and the relaxation that you need. But my tour of duty in Afghanistan didn't went well, got injured and my beautifull wedded wife decided to go and sleep with another man. Tough but such is life.. But its not the end of the world for me as Lucky always say in one of his lyrics!!! Its not Easy to understand it son and I hope youll make it, to be happy again..Sleep well soldier will see you at the re-org in Paradise.. Nobody can stop reggae. R.I.P

As a little young girl so many year ago Now 43 I use to tell my Mum that I will one day marry Lucky Dube You know little child's thoughts. And as I grew older and as a Professional musician I told myself again that it is time to meet with Lucky Dube. Then on a faithful day I was to go and sing for the footballers who were coming for the African cup of Nation conference. I was called upon to come and sing whiles singing at the same time Dancing with the current Liberian president George weah, then they announced that Lucky dube has been killed,Immediately i collapsed so I was told. I may not have met him as i wished But am glad he touched me and so many people through his song. Even though am Now married with 4 grown up kids I still feel the pain of him No longer been around. May his gentle soul continue to rest in Gods bossom. Please keep his spirit alive my dear son by following his footsteps. Cos he lives on.Shalom

No musician is the world was more celebrated ,adored, worshipped like Lucky Dube in Fiji in 2003 . My wife’s very first reggae CD ( stopped at a Mall on al one drive in Oregon & said let me give this a try ,he is African ) was Lucky,but even he was flabbergasted with the Fijians adoration. Apparently he perform &graced their island in the early 90’s ,probably 1994 ? We as club owners & music promoters dreamt of going back #1 to celebrate our Engagement Anniversary #2 Do a show ( could not put it together in the end ….had pacific Island reggae bands in mind with his Band ) honoring Lucky Dube .Still holding the dream !
