I have a luggie and the top console has broken every time that I have flown, even though it is supposedly marked fragile and I am assured it will be delicately handled. It is $132 every time to replace the console and now i have to spend $200 plus to buy the suitcase to protect it. To take it on a plane is not as easy as it seems since you have to ride it to the gate and unless you travel with the additional hard suitcase is very inconvenient and difficult since I may have my suitcase with clothing in it as well. This part is cheap and not under warranty. The functionality is fine but the way the parts are made is disappointingly cheap for the price. If you merely travel locally it is fine but not if you need to travel by airplane which is the reason I bought this in particular.
Have u ever seen baggage loaders work? They chunk the baggage, some even throw it on, no delicate placement here! How can I do it as a carry-on? I have upper body strength but handicapped for walking long distances such as in airports?
