There is something about The Lumineers, that stays with you long after the song's over. Yes, the songs are beautifully interpreted with film playing beside it, yet somehow, while listening to just the songs, one can imagine a world of their own. Discovering The Lumineers's music was life-saving.
I couldn't agree more. Their music has had such a positive impact on my life. I bawled the entire time I got to see them live in concert in Madrid on my birthday, one of the most magical nights of my whole life.
That feeling when you’re on a taxi ride home during predawn after a crazy night out with some friends, trying to remember who you kissed, how the hell you didn’t get any and just look outside to watch the sky change its colours
I don’t really think it’s about them not really “caring” I’m sure every artist wants their music to be known around the world but it’s the simple fact that everyone doesn’t know how amazing the lumineers are. They’re music is simply just underrated. Not everyone cares for this genre of music unfortunately. Therefor no one is really listening in order for them to make the charts. If you understand
Lyrics: All the things you said to me The manifest and destiny Well, all of this could go away right now And everyone was in the band And I was on another planet And then you, were all alone And you wanna be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna hold a big gun You gotta have a quick hand You wanna be the big shot now The chosen one your mother loved the most After all Early morning, still in bed You hate yourself for what you said But you could never admit you were wrong And every song was out of key And I was in the in-between And then you, still all alone And you wanna be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna place a big bet You better have a big hand You wanna be the big shot You wanna be the only son we love After all And you wanna be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna hold a big gun (Big gun) You better have a quick hand (Quick hand) You wanna be the big shot (The big shot) You wanna be the big man (Big man) You wanna place a big bet (Big bet) You better have a sick hand (Sick hand) You wanna be the big shot now Big shot now After all
now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot now's your chance to be a big shot b-b-b-b- be a big shot
@@bruh-5256 he never said he didn’t like them, he was literally just pointing out that it was a very good song instead of commenting another meme. Get a grip
Beautifully picturised, the visuals, the colours, the storytelling, it has very 90s feel to it. Yes, every body is chasing something bigger, in an attempt to be a big shot, at some stage of their lives. Sometimes this chase detaches them from the realities of life. When things go too far and when exactly this chase turns into escapism, one never realises. 'Big shot' says a lot about that. Thank you Lumineers for making us feel joy, pain and nostalgias all at once. ❤️
The first time i heard "Ho Hey" i felt something that i never felt before, kinda mix between happiness, hope, but peace and awareness too. Thats the reason its my favorite all time song. But im very grateful that every new The Lumineers song its very meaningful, like if youre reading a great big book, a complete journey in only 3 minutes.
the thing about their songs and films are they make you feel you’re in them. it’s happening and it’s happening with you in it. it’s stays with you for a long time i don’t think it ever leaves :)
I’ve never been happier to catch a song early on RU-vid but this hits different because I grew up listening to you guys non stop and your music definitely shaped a lot of my perspectives in life in the stage where I’m actually proud of myself as a 25 year old man. Thank you. Ps: I saw you guys in berlin on my birthday two years ago. Unforgettable experience ❤️
Hearing this song shows that doing bad things ain’t the future you want and take short cuts will lead to bad consequences Soo the thing is too change your world around for the better and stay uncomfortable and grow into a unique person
I love how human The lumineers are, they show human perspectives that sometimes we don't think about. I am so proud to be a fan of this band. Greetings from Brazil!
