I would love if you could do a video on a South African made brand of skincare called Standard Beauty. Incredibly affordable, obviously more for you due to the exchange rate. And best for all CRUELTY FREE!
I cannot tell you how happy I was that you left that expensive orangey-pinky product on your face for the entirety of the video making full use of that product! No waste here 👑
I think what makes these products actually “worth” the money is the fact that they pretty much all seem to have something more unique, these are really fascinating to me! Also if you wondering, “Nuit” is pronounced noo-wee, and “creme de la nuit” literally just means night cream lol.
To be unnecessarily precise, it's not exactly "noo" but I can't find any american english word to compare the pronunciation of the french "u", the closest sound I can think of to compare is "Eww", but it's not exactly that either 🤷🏽♀️ Sorry for the french lesson time 😅☺️
"Unique" is just different, not necessarily effective. If I put chicken poop in a sunscreen, I could brand it as unique. Especially if I make a dubious claim about it's effect
Cassie you are such an inspiration to me, & beautiful ray of sunshine in this world ♡! I have severe depression & anxiety, but when I watch your videos & listen to you speak I always feel better because you're so very genuine & real, intelligent, & fun! Thank you for being the beautiful, bright, Intelligent, & fun human that you are, & always telling it the way you see it. You have helped me discover some much needed skin care products. Thank you for being you. You are a blessing! ♡♡♡
Skinceuticals vit c serum is the ONLY product I splurge on. I start saving as soon as I get a new bottle because that serum does things to my skin that can't be replicated with anything else
Huh it helped you??!? I use skinceuticals vit c for 4 months now and am so SO disappointed to not see any results at all 😢 bought it for my dark spot scars, wrinkles and age spots and it hasnt done ANYTHING at all 😢 what has it done for you? When did you notice a difference?
@@xristinarose2409 bummer. Everyone's skin is different! I saw an improvement in fine lines and dark spots. It's help with dryness (I've got combo skin so my perimeter is dry with an oily t zone) I've been using it for 2 years nows. Always follow with sunscreen or it's money down the drain. I apply it to damp skin and quickly follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen. Good luck to you!
If you want to consider saving on your next purchase, try out the L'Oréal Revitalift. As long as you don't mind it being in a dimethicone base instead of water (which is a positive because it will last longer), it basically does the same thing. Same quality of vitamin C, as SkinCeuticals is owned by L'Oréal and they use the same labs/R&D.
Fun fact: Saffron can grow in some areas of the southeast US if given the right soil composition. It's just a very expensive thing to farm and has no farming subsidies to offset that cost. You can order bulbs and grow it yourself in the right zones!
I am so glad to find this video! I bought the Perricone MD neck product on sale at Costco. Dirt cheap compared to its normal price, but still a lot for me. It’s been sitting around unopened for a couple of weeks until I decided whether I should return it or commit to trying it. Now I can ripe it open!! Yay! Thanks!
Intriguing. Have you ever considered doing a video about what to buy for teens? You talk a lot about the mistakes you made and I'd love to hear what you actually do recommend. Signed, Mom of acne prone boy.
Such a beautiful human being inside and out. I love her energy and ora. Feel l critised her by accident for her lack of knowledge of celebrities haha. If you read this sorry Cassandra Your the cool one for not knowing 😎😘😊
As a Persian, we use saffron in so many of our dishes, it truly is expensive! Love your sweet informative videos. And may I yell 🎙I LOVE DERMALOGICA!!!!! I really need the precleanse! Great product line. Thankyou so much for putting us on to the Ranavat Safron Serum/ Flawless veil masque- I’m diving into her story now!
It's definitely expensive but for the amount of saffron you need to colour/infuse a serum... it's like 3 threads (which is like 1 dollar). Also idk if I'd want to even put it on my face, because like tumeric, it stains your skin! Every time I cook with saffron I tend to get yellow fingertips!
James Welsh did a whole video about Troiarueke and he says it wonderfully. I appreciate some fancy feels every so often, and holidays are the best time to get these luxury from or for someone
Omg you are a hoot! Love your sense of humor, you had me laughing, which is a good thing. That’s not the only reason I watch your video, love your skincare knowledge and I enjoy your expertise, you’re one of my fav! Have a wonderful day!
Hi Cassandra, I've recently discovered your channel and we LOVE it.. My daughter suffers with acne and it affects her confidence.. I see you too suffered but your skin looks beautiful now how did you do it..she's 15 🥰
Skinceuticals is 15% vit c and only 1 oz for 182$. Perricone is 20% vit c and 2 oz for 165. Perricone indeed does smell much better and works much better.
Please answer a question about Skinceuticals!!!! My facialist told me that is the only brand that has the correct amount of vitamin C and she also says it’s the only one that takes the ph factor whatever that means ???? That is what supposed to make vitamin c work?
I am watching you my skincare goddess while unboxing my order from Deciem inspired by YOU! Unfortunately one of my bottles, the pycnogenol, arrived partly open due to a defective dropper. But, not to fear, they have good customer service! Thank you so much for all you do! 🤍👀☁️🤍
Great video Cass, these are actually unexpected products (as in, not mainstream). I would also be interested in your take of both La Maison Valmont's brands, Valmont and l'Elixir des Glaciers, while we're on the topic of luxury skincare.
I've been into skin care for almost 2 years now, but still a bit scared to use actives. Can I use a moisturizer formulated with vitamin C after applying retinol/retinoid? I don't want to mess this up. Lots of love to you. I love your content 💖 Thank you.
Hey, Cassandra, please do a full review of that Perricone Vit CCC serum! No one has fully reviewed it yet on RU-vid, I think. Seems a pretty good product 👀
I LOVE TROIAREUKE. I memorized how to spell it because I was looking into buying one of their cushion foundations. Love korean skin care so I’ll definitely have to try this.
Saffron is actually a staple in ayurveda and can be harvested from the Kashmir (foothills of Himalayas). Hence Indian luxury skincare (mostly mid range pricing according to American standards) has some pretty great options like kumkumadi oil. But yes they work a lot more slowly compared to actives, so they are meant to be a long term investment.
So do you like or recommend the Algenist Blue Algae series or not? You held one of the items during the intro and then didn’t talk about it lol I couldn’t tell if it was the blue algae dark spot correcting peel or the clarity serum.
Cassandra! So I have the Kenzzi IPL handset, and they just came out with 2 attachments for it, one for wrinkles and one for acne. Could you look into the attachments?? Im curious if they're worth it
Hey, Cassandra! I was wondering if you've used or heard of the Timeless Skin Care 20% C E Ferulic Acid Serum? I was about to splurge on the Perricone MD serum, but discovered the Timeless one at a fraction of the price. I have yet to use it as it's being shipped to me right now, but I would love to know your thoughts! 💖
Hey Cassandra I love your videos! Do you think you can make a video on fourth ray beauty skincare? It's a sister brand of colourpop cosmetics. Their products are pretty affordable and I would really like to know your opinion on them! Love u!
Hello Bella Cass U were right! I don't have Mallasezia Foliculitis(I get diagnosis in Aviva Polyclinic,Zagreb,Croatia,Europa. It ' WRONG diagnosis from Jane Basarowski!!!!) Would you please review Juvia’s Place Skin Care Line? I’m looking for really good skin care and I love their makeup so I thought you’re knowledge would give us the very best and honest review
Question please regarding Perricone CCC product. Website states PM use ypu have mentioned protection during day time? So is it OK to use it during a day?
Can I ask a question..Can I use vitamin C serum On My body Like the skinceuticals/Obagi Vit c serum Or like any other serum... Can I use it all over my body?🥰
Revolution Skincare have a perfect dupe (it’s so good, I wouldn’t even call it a dupe: it’ stands on its own) It’s simply called Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid 😻 I love it. The Ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid have amped up my skincare game - and it’s thanks to Cassandra just breathing it out in a sentence in a video about The Ordinary product and my ears soaked it in, thank you Cassandra! 😸🙏 The Ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid is luxury to a very nice price and that’s all the neck cream I need. I put resveratrol on my tata’s, on my belly, bum bum, my hands underneath my hand cream (aka my regular body lotion) . To put some of the regular skincare (especially retinol, vitamin C and resveratrol - maybe peptides...) and moisturisers and spf on a daily basis is way better than a neck cream. I’m speaking out of my own experience here 🌸😺🌸 I love k beauty and j beauty. Especially mushrooms, rice/sake/galactomyces, Centella Asiatica. If I wasn’t a vegan I’d definitely use honey and that super honey 🍯 and snail mucin. But no.. I can’t 😿 🤷🏼♀️😿 I’ve just ordered a set of cactus products from Whamisa (something that I wanted for some time and the packaging is so cute!) as a Christmas gift for myself 💝🎄Because we need to be our own very best friend 💗😸💗 So don’t forget to give yourself a little gift too! 🎁 Take care and be be You tiful inside and out! Like Cassandra always says 😺💗💗🤗 ✌️😽💋 Love and hugs and positivity from Sweden 🇸🇪
I love the skinceuticals serum! I got La Mer cream from my boyfriend as a gift :( I felt really bad because it's so overpriced, but actually I started using it as occlusive for night and it works really well on my skin. But I know it's just petrolatum :D Also, I have a question, Cassandra! Do you have an opinion or have you heard about EGF serum from Bioeffect? It has only 7 ingredients and I don't know what to think of it! Pls let us know if you know anything ^^
If you want superior products w/ extremely well formulated products try Le Mieux, it means the best in French. The first ingredient in almost every product is their own hyaluronic acid combo they invented. If the 1st ingredient is not hyaluronic acid it will be another active benefitting the product. Classy, please look into this product line ,I have a strong feeling you will like what is in the products & what what is not in them. There are a few products that are priced high enough for me to go.🙄 However the majority for the ingredients & results you get or I have received, I love this line❣I truly hope it benefits someone, be well❣❣❣❣
I believe for the longest time products with gold and honey were the most expensive skincare ingredients in South Korea along with ginseng and collagen and there's only a limited amount of cosmetic formulators and labs that know how to get the formulation right with these ingredients. Honestly, to this day there aren't that many companies that get a good formulation that includes honey, gold, or collagen, and if a South Korean company is selling a product with these ingredients chances are the products are actually somewhat decent or actually good.
Just curious...is plankton vegan then? A quick Google search has told me that there is phytoplankton (plants) and zooplankton (animals) so I would hope it would be phytoplankton in the last product? Just curious!
The skinceuticals vitamin c is the first vitamin c I’ve used in a long time that’s actually helped with my older hyperpigmentation. I’m using the naturium one right now and it’s nice but I’m not sure if it’s helping or not yet
ok looking at the Korean spelling it's like Troy - Ar - Ke (in Korean, there needs to be a vowel between the R and K sounds which is the "EU" and the pronunciation of that is kind of subtle
Chantecaille is pronounced shan-teh-kigh and I'm pretty sure the founders are American. Their daughter has been on lives with Caroline Hirons and she's American.
Hey just a question if I keep just a sunscreen and moisturizer in my routine and let all the other stuff in the hands of a dermatologist ot monthly facials is that better than a 5 step skincare routine as I am spending way much for a 19 year old and my bank account is crying🙃🙃🤣🤣
