Great review. I appreciate the fact you can use/study/appreciate those of which you don’t “completely” agree. I probably fall in his camp a little more, but man I love your videos.

I was given a NKJV hardcover of this bible, to give to someone that doesn't have a bible, now I have to get it out to have a good look at it, (before I pass it on) nice review brother, bless you

Brother, I'd sure love to take that MSB NASB Personal Size off your hands! How much, how much???😁 I have the full size MSB NASB and personal size in the MSB ESV and absolutely love the personal size. It's too bad that Thomas Nelson\Zondervan isn't producing this personal size edition of the MSB NASB. And a mint copy like yours has proven hard to find from third party sources.

I'm surprised they stopped making the personal size edition. I like it better than the full-sized one I have. And, for some reason, the small font is easier on my old eyes than my Cambridge wide margin. I'll probably sell my Bibles at some point, probably when I can tell time is running out for me. Help to pay for that pine box. But I plan to keep them for the time being. They're useful for comparison shots in these videos. I've considered the MacArthur bible before and other than the theology not being my favorite I've also always disliked his big "M" on the cover and I see elsewhere in the bible too. I like bibles that have "Holy Bible" at least on the spine once and not have it advertise only that it's a study edition. Maybe I feel there is too much emphasis on a single person.

I concur. Scofield, Ryrie, & MacArthur all share the same problem - their titles move your attention to a man instead of God.

It appears to me this is the gospel......according to John MacArthur. It bothers me also to have his initials pasted all over it, as if he is the author and originator of it. I will definitely pass on this one.
