I can only imagine how you felt when you realized you forgot the wood because you 100% would never do it on purpose. You are too sweet for that. Your costume making is so creative! The kids will always remember them. One of the best gifts in life is to have wonderful loving and caring friends. You are all blessed to have one another to lean on.

Homemade Halloween costumes are the best. I always loved making them for my kids. One of my granddaughters went as the mad hatter as well. I wish that I could send a pic. She looked awesome.

You know you are doing a great job as a parent/caregiver to a child when they feel free to ask you what you mean when you use a phrase or a word they are unfamiliar with. I don't know why there was such a carry on in the comments about the accidental forgetting of the wood for Sadie. My only guess is that the comments came from people who are new to watching the Moons and don't realize that you all would NEVER do a thing like that on purpose, and certainly not to a friend who had come to stay and take care of your much beloved animals. I don’t believe for one minute that you guys forgot to leave Sadie firewood. I believe ghouls cast an evil spell on you guys and stole the huge pile of wood you left for Sadie. The spell erased all remembrance of the huge pile of wood from your memory. Luckily for all, Sadie was fine and now Good Fairies have thrown their magic fairy dust on everyone involve and all will have a grand time at the Halloween Party.
