Yes they were mad lads, the young man that sing lead on ( you blew it ) was D. Harvey , he was 19 years old when we (the mad lads ) took him out on the road with us we had to ask his mother for her consent .He went on to have great success as a solo artist and songwriter, his biggest record was ( you better leave well enough alone).
This isn't the real Mad Lads as in the Volt/Stax group.. This group of Mad Lads here toured as "The World Famous Mad Lads" in the 80s and had nothing to do with John Gary Williams or any of the original Mad Lads. In fact, John sued these guys for stealing the name and if you read the liner notes they try to say they are the real Mad Lads who recorded on Stax/Volt.
