Glad J4 and Shyvana are finally a canonical item. And I'm glad J4 is trying to better his country, despite its troubled history and the problems with Mages in general.
@@rij6541 As do I. But that's Old Canon. Not current. Also, if LeBlanc wanted to destabilize Demacia, continuing to harass Mages would be a good way, turning Garen and Lux against J4, among other things.
I like how they incorporated Morgana's soul shackles/chains into Sylas' magic shackles/chains. Also, kinda weird how Riot now changed the whole theme of how the visibly good is really the bad, and the visibly bad, is the good, like the did with Kayle and Morgana, Leona and Diana, Piltover and Zaun, and Demacia and Noxus.
@@lissandrafreljord7913 well in terms of nations theres proper nuance like even though Noxus offers more opportunity to its conquered nations then its citizens had before anyone incapable with the Noxian way will still be the dregs of society and Zaun is just a ghetto it still has plenty of crime lords even though theres people who just want more stable lives.
@@wolfyblue Sylas was written a bit too likeable in the game. He's ruthless towards authority and has vowed justice for his people through bloodshed. No way he can be peaceful
This game maybe the start to make LoR cannon, again. With this ending, the Galio followers now can fit Demacia. We just need figure it out the time travel Chytria situation.
They can't really fit yet. Galio hasn't woken up yet, so nobody really knows he's there, still. Maybe if they do another comic where they explain how Lux managed to wake Galio up like in the Warriors cinematic, sure. But for now they're not really there. The Cytria situation is still a mess tho, so unless they remove interactions, they really can't make her canon.
@@echovalkyr96 on the warriors cinematic they've known what Galio is so i guess galio is supposed to be known before that happens, as the soldiers isnt taken a back when Lux used magic and Summoned Galio
Sorry I’ve only dabbled in LoR and never really understood the new depth in the lore. Why is Cythria a mess? I liked using her in my decks when LoR released and thought she’d be a champion by now.
@@xMikeyHardyx its because Cythria had meet a younger Jarvan III and rescue a Jarvan IV when he was a child. Cythria is to young to be able to meet both Jarvan at thoes ages. We still dont know how she did time travel
Technically, Garen already does that. Dude straight up murders mages in the Lux comic. That said, i'd still love for her to be in the game. But more for body-horror reasons. The idea of a body-horror mage so strong their powers resemble that of an aspect or darkin, is a great idea for a new champion in-game. Any excuse to give us unchained 1-winged angel Sylas (or hopefully 4-winged) is also welcome. If we can get Betrayer GP and Sea dog Yasuo, we can definitely get this.
garen and katarina too. they made a prequel comic to this for katarina, and when she formed the connection with her blades to be able to teleport them and herself to the blades, she thought of the connection she made with garen when they met for the first time and thats why the spell turned out so strong. so canonically she can do the stuff she does because of the strong connection she has to him.
That final shot when Sylas and Wisteria clashes, they looked like Morgana and Kayle. If a sequel is ever to come. I think that they will unite against Kayle. To show their humanity and strength to the aspect of Justice with her sister. This might be one helluva sequel
Kayle would obliterate anyone from Demacia except Morgana. And more than that there is no point for anyone except Sylas/Morgana and maaaybe Jarvan 4 to fight her
My problem with this ending is that Jarvan sees the error of his ways, and starts reversing things to bring peace. However, Sylas and other mages are still gearing up for war, saying it's not enough, that Demacia needs 'new leaders' and they need allies, suggesting they're going to continue, or at least prepare to continue the rebllion. This is the turning point where they become the villains. Chanting 'No more Rulers, no more Kings' while the current King is actively freeing Mages and challenging anyone who would oppose that... I understand there has been a lot of suffering, and you can't just reverse all that in a day. But Sylas isn't even trying to accept that there can be peace, he's all out rampage and war, and Garen was right, he needs to be stopped. Because he's taking the war beyond the goal. Mages wanted freedom, now steps are being taken to give them that freedom, and Sylas is now making up new reasons to stay at war.
I half agree with you there. But Jarvan abolishing mage discrimination is only an half solution. What stops the next king to continuing the mage hunt? Or hunting another minority? In order to mages to be safe in the extended period, there need to be a more democratic gouvernment
Sylas, jaded as he is, could never believe in the possibility that Demacia would change their stance on mages so easily. The entirety of it's culture was built on the suppression of magic, and what Sylas wants isn't the removal of discrimination, it's liberation. For magic to be used freely, for mages to live without fear. Demacia as it is can NEVER offer that, and so this Demacia is not what Sylas wants.
@@tirannusmark7ita679 Thats besides the point. Sylas, for all intent and purpose, wants anarchy. Any ruling body, monarchal or other wise, is no different than the shackles that once bound him in his mind.
i have no idea how or why you see that but okay. The game goes through great lengths to explain exactly why he's awful for her and she rightfully dumps him. The end implies she'll return but frankly, she's better off in the rebellion, or out on her own.
I gotta agree with Dempster on this one, j4 is kinda the worst and it takes not the seeing the brutal torture inflicted upon his people but his pseudo girlfriend (who is stuck in a place which despises her) to dump him before making actual steps to disbanding the runeterran equivalent of the SS despite his father ordering it himself
Noxus won't feel so good about this development in Demacia for sure one of thing that hold Demacia back is they don't use proper magic, Now give them time to sort their inside problem and in less than 10 year their legion will be unstoppable
I wonder how the Mageseekers are going to react now that Jarvan has terminated their organization after realizing how far and corrupted they've become.
ignored m, like rito ignors shyvana is a strong dragon , just again a other butt slap for her, will we ever see a rework ? will we ever see a shyvana who fucks someone ? looks like rito only use demacia for butt slaps . and shyvana too , JUSTINCE FOR THE DRAGONQUEEN !
@@ryanroswellcachohe is at the outpost of demacia and guarding the borders she cant leave her post because noxus takes every opportunity to attack and they dont hold back the same goes to the winter claw in the north
Galio and Quinn I think are on patrol Xin Zhao is in exile probably thinking about committing a seppuku because he failed in his duty Poppy probably wandering around the forest, Yordle is a magical being in nature she probably helps the rural folk dealing with dragons and demons (nocturne& fiddle) I have no idea about Fiora and Vayne. Sona is on the run from mageseeker she might be in the rural village along with Poppy helping a little folks.
This is absolutely beautiful, I want to cry. I am very sentimental and emotional, I love this - finally, Sylas got the proper respect from Riot he deserves.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. Besides, I doubt Kayle would intererfere as they should deal with it themselves, not to mention that both sides have good and bad people so joining either wouldn't be a fair deal.
@@SigmaKayle yeah, exactly For some reasons people think that Kayle and Morgana like eternal enemies and if one did something other should do the opposite. But in the reality after their last battle they never even interacted or something like that, lol.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. Yup, they had no contact at all. I didn't watch entire Mageseeker but from what I saw, Morgana didn't take any direct involvement into the conflict between mages and "royal" Demacia(Beside talking about Demacia's past and training Sylas od whatever their fight was), so why should Kayle, right?
Just because the king said so, doesn't mean the people will follow completely. Demacian culture was built around the ptsd of the Rune wars. The very path you walk on demacia is literally anti magic. So it will take decades and who knows if the next king will continue the racism laws when jarvan is gone? Its probably the only motive I can find for Sylas to continue the rebellion. He doesnt want this Demacia. He wants a new Liberated Demacia.
if kayle were to descend a lot will die she is the modern judiciary ,law is a law if you break it u getting whooping ,it doesn't matter if you are good bad or anything.meanwhile morgana is our ideal justice system giving penance to those who may be worthy
@@cherno8336 Explain how. I know league loves trying to play everything as grey as possible because for some reason they want all champions to be appealing to players (ignoring the fact that people can love playing villains too). But when it comes to Kayle vs Morgana, how could anyone ever argue Morgana's ideals aren't far better than Kayle's? Kayle would ultimately delete all of Demacia if she showed up just because her judgement is that harsh and cruel. No one would survive.
Let me make this clear : Kayle true religion justice witch is القصاص known for an eye for an eye u steal u lose ur hand . U kill u die ... Morgana in the other hand is the humanly justice witch is built upon humans desire and principles merciful yes but hella corrupted and keeps changing depending on cases and people
I would like to think they have uhmm bigger problems. Plus if they invade the demacians will unite so its better if they bleeding themselves by themselves.
Pretty silly, though nobody should expect that level of writing from this game. It doesn't even manage to stay consistent with the region its set in, let alone the entire continent
She did assist him by giving him her blessing and vision. Canonically, most of the demacian country should no longer fear or hate mages. Only some of the royals or the military might. I'm not convinced Jarvan learned his lesson and Garen certainly hasn't.
@@xMikeyHardyx Since he didn’t want to answer for you, the short answer is no. If there’s any real symbolism you could imagine Wisteria being an aspect of Kayle and Sylas being one of Morgana. But no relation just similar powers
But mageseekers use magic, how do they explain that paradox? So despite the concessions of the king, the rebels are still willing to fight and provoke more sufferings and death? Men, some peoples are never satisfied.
@@chakradarrat8832 2. But even then, a new rebellion will certainly not help things go along. Heck, Demacians might even start seeing them as power hungry rather than freedom fighters.
The paradox of the mageseekers are not explained ever, it just the argument oh they use it for good and all the other mages are trying to destroy the country. Its meant to show us the audience the irony of the situation and letting us know what terrified people they are holding onto whatever broken morality they are being fed by the aristocracy. Secondly, not a lot of people believe in the King, you don't just believe in someone who a day ago just threatened to kill all your kind and decided hmmm maybe he won't kill us. and all of them have suffered under aristocracy, who knows when the anti-mage laws come back. + Sylas is and will always be the person to seek revolution through bloodshed and murder.
and at last i think not this one is canon shyvana go away after the fight , shyvana returns at the end on the pic but ruined version too back ? ok ruined not longer is canon read it and riot take back somethign of it half canon half not . then the ruined game , idk rito makes so meny storys now meny games but to meny open questions
this story happened wayyy before the ruination event cause we can already see that people already chill with magic at that point . this story(the mageseeker) happened before warrior
@@moonshardch.4351 ye this i know too thats too the order sylas came out some years later viego . But good ruined event isnt much longer canon not much of it
As you can see, they hire mages to kill mages. So mage seekers are basically mages that are legally allowed to practice magic in service and motive to protect demacia
@@letay8997 That makes no sense, the mageseekers are literally built for catching mages. Hiring other ones seems inefficient, because they already specified or magehunting
@@tamas9554 if there are people out there hunting mages then mages sure did learn to hide from people who hunt them, which is why mageseekers need mages so that they can find mages, it's like criminal hiding and needs police need professional help
@@hainguyn948 The mageseekers are very efficient, no wonder there were no mage uprisings before Sylas. They also have the help of the army too if needed. Hiring mages would be too controversial, and of course I doubt that there are this many mage mercenaries available around Demacian territory
The man knowingly and willingly tormented mages for years and it took shyvhana finally putting her foot down and pseudo dumping him to even consider the idea of doing literally anything other than torturing mages for existing. You know, the people shyvhana considers herself apart of?
Hope not, seeing how inconsistent it is with the original story. I only saw this and the Morgana cutscene from the entire game, and it was already enough, there are just so many things wrong. But then again, Riot says that LoR is canon too, and the same thing applies to that game
@@toamszkozak8822 Its very sad that only I find it mediocre :D Just because most people are satisfied with it, that doesn't mean its actually good. People just adore mediocrity, mostly because they don't know how better could it be. On the canon part, no its not. The story is inconsistent with the original one on almost the same level as the Ruination event was.
