Where did it say it was three men? It said three gift. Not three men...

No one knows for sure who they were or where they came from.

Sorry but it was a poor example of how the gospels differ geographically. It sounds like a text written with AI because in both examples Jesus is said to have been born in Bethlehem but only Luke mentions that they had to travel there first. There would be better examples in the Gospels, such as the fact that according to Mathew, Jesus fled to Egypt and only then to Galilee, while according to Luke, they fled directly to Galilee without Egypt.
