Ma'am, In Tripura Rahasya the origin story is different, in that book to get rid of bhandasur ( he originated from ashes of manmatha) all dev started giving aahuti by cutting their body parts,first Indrani called Maa to protect her from bhandasur.

You are correct in saying that while chanting the stotras, we should concentrate on each word, so that we understand the qualities it represents. And then by the blessings of Paramatma you realize that, the devi herself is very much working in her sagun roop through all of us! All the women that we see around us, posses these very same qualities, but we fail to see the divinity in them! You then understand that everyone who feeds us, cooks for us, are our 'ANNAPURNA DEVI ! The women who work honestly in these security forces with great might and courage, ARE 'DURGA SHAKTI'. The ones who work selflessly, striving for the betterment of her workplace, completely devoted to her work, ISN'T THAT THE 'RADHA SHAKTI' ? Talking about Sri Lalita Sahasranama, firstly, AREN'T ALL THE MOTHERS 'SRI MATA' ? Because all women have within them the motherly qualities and capabilities of nurturing literally anyone! All those women who face so many hardships to take care of their families, we should understand, all representative of the divine quality - 'CHIDAGNIKUND SAMBHUTA.' Any woman that we see whose 'MIND, BODY & INTELLIGENCE ' is purified, that herself is 'TRIPUR SUNDARI' But it's our folly, that we bow down with folded hands in front of a murti made by us humans, but fail to see the REAL DEVI SHAKTI around us, the murti which is made by that Paramatma Shakti itself ! We look at those women, be it someone in your house or your helper or anyone, with inferiority ! We don't see the divinity in them, but instead look at them with vaasna (lust) ! Please understand, the Devi that we see in any photo, does she look any different from a woman standing next to you? There itself we must understand that it is just this Paramatma shakti and nothing else who is working through all of us and you will understand that, by whatever name you call it, be it Devi or Ganpati or Hanumanji, these are not some mystical super human deities which we need to attain, but are very much around us, at all times, in their sagun roop, which we need to recognise! Just like in Srimad Bhagwad Gita, Sri Krishna says- ईश्वर: सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति | भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्त्रारूढानि मायया ||18.61 - dwelling in the very heart of all beings, he himself directs us in certain particular ways to act, i.e., everyone around us are all working on and because of his shakti and thus represents those very qualities. I am only sharing my learnings and experiences , which I got through the blessings of my Gurus, and not for enforcing my opinions on anyone, but imagine how beautiful the World would be if we start recognizing the SAGUN PARAMATMA around us, who by catering to the smallest of our needs, makes our lives, livable! ।। ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय ।। Hari Om Tat Sat 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
Maam you are extremely true that you don't need a guru to start Devi upasana, I think it is mainly the divine Mother chooses you when you start this automatically. The ones who insist they need a guru may be not even ready to move in the path of the spirituality.

I read Shree Lalitha Saharanam and Vishnu sahasranam on every Friday & Thursdays last 2021.after reading this my life changed completely one of the astrologer told me that your grah is not good you will face problem but after chanting things are changed
I am currently reading her book Sacred Sounds of Sri Vidya. That book is lucid and gives a perfect start to novice like me. I was blown away by the clarity, authority and the gentleness with which she has written the book. While reading I was thinking about how she/the author might be. Reciting at higher speed may be not comfortable from hearing point of you. But my experience of 35 years with sahasranama, fast chanting makes me to be with Devi heartily and my friends also feel, follow the same.

Excellent podcast. Please check out the Lalitha Sahasranamam by Challekere Brothers. One of the best renditions in terms of pitch, melody, pronunciation, speed and clarity. Learners should also have a script on hand while listening to any rendition to be able to better internalise the stothram. 🙏

Don't criticize who comfortably read in 20 minutes, many people have that perceptive power to read properly and at the same time understanding meaning as well. It comes through practice and over time and it also vary from person to person as many read it with difficulty in 1 and half hours.

तज्जपस्तदर्थभावनम् ....pronunciation and meaning go hand in hand, if you say mango, the word mango itself immediately gives you the idea and the feeling of the fruit because you know its meaning. If you are fond of mangoes your mouth starts watering. There is an immediate reaction. Say Christmas or Diwali, it automatically generates the feeling of gifts and celebration. - the name of the divine has to be said after understanding the meaning and enjoying the same. A CD player plays the chant perfectly, but it will continue to remain as CD player and will never become divine. Only a person who chants with faith knowing its meaning and focusing the awareness makes progress.
Dear Ma'am, pls chant lalitha sahasranamam stotram once, so that we can follow the same rhythm and meter. As praveen sir, said, depending upon time we sometimes chant fast in group, and chant slow when chanted alone at home. I will be very thankfull if you could upload the correct meter of chanting.
Think she mentioned T S Ranganath’s recitation of LSN has the correct meter and pronunciation. I have listened to this several times and it is THE BEST version 🙏🙏

With all due respect, Lalithas emergence as per Lalithopakhyanam is purely to provide relief from Bandasura regime where even the devas and gods felt threatened. From the manmathas ashes comes bandasura and its a different story and context. And her shakthi sena is Bālā, varahi, ashwa rooda, matangi etc. This story is kind of jumbled up
Better Ignore such podcast. Due to google Guruvar, every tom dick and harry has become a Srividhya expert. Even people who have spent enough time in practicing Srividhya, has opened a shop and giving Deeksha online. Paramacharya of Kanchi has clearly told Shakti Sadhana to be kept secret. So secret that, if applying kumkumam in forehead and if practising Shakti Sadhana, please apply bhasmam on the top of it so that nobody should know. Google Acharyas says, Ambal is energy. But Ambal is beyond it. Has not told Acharya that Brahma created this and many world from the dust of Ambal feet. Taniyamsum pamsum tava Charan ...." Soundarya Lahari 2nd Sloka. That's what even physics tells us. This universe whole ingredients was in that subatomic particle which was Billionth the size of proton. Even space time was in it. Imagine how many dust Brahma might have collected and with one subatomic particle he created this Universe. Hence such universe get created and anhillated, from her blink (LS Nama - Unmeshsa Nimeshotpana, vipana bhuvanavali) But problem is with us. We have so many authentic Srividhya texts infront of us but want to find more in podcast. So mind a toolkit of Ambals Maya will distract you till you spend enough time and later regret making you more stronger not to waste next time. Me too, am a victim of Maya and hence here. Since you read LS, so thought to give a thought
Podcast is Awesome ...but I feel most of the time we over showcase , like someone chanting the mantra with glass of water and give that water to others and it does make water sacred :)......and anything will get manifest in 108 days ...this is kind of selling hope ..........any sadhana will take time and whether it will manifest or not depends on your Karma and even if your karma is bad a chanting for few years might give a deeper understanding and because of that understanding nothing negative happening outside can disturb the inner peace .....(this make more sense rather than saying anything will be manifested if u do the chant for this many days and someone guarantees that it will) ..........People should grow up and should know that nothing comes easy ;[]......also statements like reading once will burn all Karmas is no way making sense (its like go to gym for a day and u will start burning fat for rest of your life)...................podcasts should be realistic
If this is how we can connect to God thn only those who are educated and financially well to do should pray.getting a guru and pronunciation is just not easy for many.😢😢hmmm

Hi , sorry for being an uninvited commentor here For finding a suitable partner, Firstly it is recommended to have your janmakundali or jataka read by a legit astrologer to help u understand the situation Then maybe you should consider doing the upayas as prescribed as per your requirements There are various upasanas for finding a right partner, Most importantly KATYAYANI PUJA/UPASANA As practised by people across the board and also mentioned in various puranic and tantric texts, * I myself read about it in ramcharitmanas by goswami tulasidas Secondly there can be Shiva upasana, Durga mantras, Vishnu, Krishna and more Hope you find your perfect match

Kamdev was used to incite feelings in lord Shiv to awaken feelings for mother Parvati so that they have a child( Kartikeys) to rid the Devas of the troubles from Tarakasura, not just for a whimsical reason of inciting desires.
