Apparently rescued from a barn, we've (at last) unearthed (de-fertilized?) the deep, dark secret of selling a mediocre, mid-priced, early 1980's car. ALL COPYRIGHTS ACKNOWLEDGED
They got that right, "The Magic of Closing", but in this reference was almost closing up the whole company. Chrysler was on the skids by 1980 and needed a government loan to keep them afloat.
Before he got his big break, Bruce Campbell did 'industrials' (internal marketing type films like this) for one of the big 3 automakers, I always look out for him when I watch these old clips...
*typical day at the Chrysler dealership, guy walks in Hi Sir what are you looking for, a car that will last a long time, Ok you might want to try the Toyota Dealership down the street* 😅🤣😂
The hardest part is to know when the prospect is already giving you, the salesperson signals that they want to close. At that point stop selling, and start closing.
