Thank you all so much for the support. The channel gained more than 200 subscribers in the last two months! I'm really grateful! How did you like the "cinematic intro" on this one? Would this be something you'd like to see on future videos as well?

This sound suited your intro very well. A good idea you should try again in future!

Very nice. Technically competent and not boring.....enlightening, even. Ah: At the end of your commentary you hit what I think is the essential thing about this music. The zeitgeist of that time. Satie evokes it more profoundly than any of his contemporaries. For me it is very powerful.....

Thank you from Scotland. I've been practicing the Gnossiennes and now how 1, 2 and 3 in the bag. I struggle with arpeggios on my left hand so Gnossienne 4 needs some Andynalysis!

Me too Sean. I’ve learned 1-3 Gnossiennes, but The arpeggios in no. 4 are a challenge. Hope you’re making progress!

A super analysis Andy. Thanks for shedding light on the magic behind Satie’s music. and Yes, I picked up on the F minor connection to Gnossienne 1.

👏👏👏Teaching-Approach auf permanent hochqualitativem, humorvoll-lockerem Niveau! Dank Deiner Videos lernt man substanziell was dazu, aber so richtig en détail! Jetzt ist für mich Erik Satie (auch insbesondere durch Dich) der absolute Sheldon geworden, einer, der ohne Mühe einem Bach die Goldketten und den Pelzmantel stiehlt...😂😋
