I have no words ,the dictionary is not enough to praise my beloved SHANKARJAIKISHAN. The background music was super. The interlude and prelude music given by SJ , no one can imagine So melodious and heart touching, God why did you take them from us ,there are many useless wicked take them. send SHANKARJAIKISHAN back to us.
Yes what you have said is very true. There is no one in this Bollywod who can match & compare with them as far as music is concerned. After all God always take the best one & not the wicked one.
Simply wonderful. No words to explain my heartfelt happiness. Shashibushan sir ... Thanks for all the hard work you have put to make this happen ... Long live the masters: Shankar-Jaikishan, may their soul rest in peace, their music will live forever.
Wonderful work done by Shashibhushan ji.Since 1949 & whole time of SJ DOU l have enjoyed their GLORIOUS MUSIC.I have listen all 3 parts of collection of Voilin playing.Great Applause to hard work done but feel surprise to note an extra wonderful voilin playing part of the song KAHAN SE MILTE MOTI(LATA) from film RAAJ HATH is ignored. Just listen & not how they played from lower pich to highest notes.Salute to SJ for their wonderful work.Their name will shine for ever in the music world.
No matter how many times you listen to SJ 's music, it always sounds fresh. We used to love it when on Binaca Geetmala Amin Sayani announced their name, Shankar Jaikishan in a very musical voice.
Mummies of Egypt can come back to life with these compositions !! Definitely, this is an incredible work.I think for some other musician making a profile projecting one instrument is difficult.
Great efforts by you sir to present extra ordinary prelude and interlude woven by the Legend SJ.It is worth listening again and again the combination of tunes with musical instruments .👍👍👍
Wonderful presentation of your R&D on SJ's Orchestration Shashibhushan Hegde ji ! Pyarelal being basically a violinist commented in one of his TV interviews that SJ did a legendary work on use of sets of Violines !
It does not help arguing with biased people. The ultimate fact is crystal clear and before everyone to see. People remember and relish the music of SJ even after decades. Make a survey of the most popular Hindi film songs of this century and SJ would top the list even today. A recent survey of most popular 100 Lata songs was topped by SJ-19 songs followed by MadanMohan. And yes, Shankar did not pay any money to vote in the survey, as he had passed away in 1987 :)
Wonderfull shanker jaykishan jaise legend sangitkaar koi huve nahi aur na koi honge vayoline ke dil hiladenevale high pinch wale sooroko koi bajane wala n koi hay na honge aur Rafisaab jaisaa koi singer bhi n koi hay n hoga meri zindgi me shanker jaikishan aur Rafisaab jaisa great singer aur rometic hero SHAMI KAPOOR JAISA ROMENTIC HERO KOI NAHI HAY SALAAM HAY UNKO HARISH ANJARIYA BHUJ CITY
The person who calls himself "Real music king" seems to be out on a single point mission of Shankar bashing. But it doesn't change the fact - the unparalleled popularity of SJ music, spanning over 2 decades which definitely is not a miracle.
Everybody felt and experienced this unique facet about SJ, but you have taken pains to present it in so beautiful manner that it will remain lifelong in the memories of music loving fans. Congratulations..! How about exploring an idea of presenting pieces of accordian? Particularly, Barsat ( interledus of "Chhod Diye Balam"), Aawara, Mera Naam Joker and last but not least eternal piece of Sangam ( After " Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega" is over. Think about it seriously. I am great fan of shankar jaikishan, but very shocking part in India is that all hit songs of SJ are know by Rajkapur songs. In all realty show like Indian Idol etc they do not give any musician name like SJ, LP, Kalyanji Anandji, RD Burman, they give only names of singers only. its very shockinig.
shashibhusan yar tu aadmi bahut badia hae agar mae likhne betha to raat bahut ho jaygi are Shanker Jaikishan ke afshane kabhi khatam nahi honge mujhe maaf karna
most of the songs that used violins in the composition were composed by Shankar The Genius. while most the songs that used blowing instruments especially sax & teno-sax were composed by Jakishen. Hence, almost all songs in the video above were composed by Shankar-The Real Music Genius. Jaikishen was excellent too. No doubt.
One more fact if people agree with ..that is the music of SJ being multilayered..difficult for many to recreate in programs...so they avoiding ...LP...RD song s very simple to recreate...except few...this may b another reason of less popularity
