Illusionist of the decade Luis de Matos is joined by Chris Tarrant; winners of the Best Comedy Illusionist award at the World Magic Awards, the dark and twisted Barry and Stuart, team up with Stephen K Amos; and the king of close-up magic, Chris Korn, is partnered by Samantha Womack.
The Magicians combines a celebrity host with three of the worlds best illusionists battling across six weeks in a competition format that puts big entertainment values centre-stage, alongside mind-blowing spectacle, dazzling illusions, big name celebrities and a grand finale to amaze the nation. This exciting format allows viewers to determine which magician is victorious each week and ultimately in the grand finale. The magician who receives the least votes leaves the competition but first performs one last dangerous or impossible illusion.
