Princess Alice was known to take public transport in London. A remarkable woman, indeed.

One of my favourite royals. I was always pleased to see her on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony with the rest of the extended Royal Family when was into her 90s. Her children often accompanied her.

I admire Princess Alice's mother who was willing to marry Leopold knowing his health. She also remained loyal to the crown her whole life. As did Princess Alice❤

The Palmet Diamond Tiara is my favorite piece!Simply STUNNING! The yellow diamonds make the piece, forgive me, must be worth a fortune! Not to say the rest of the tiara is not worthy, it is! The Palmet tiara if it still survives, should be displayed in an exhibition of Alice’s other surviving jewelry…if it is, or has been, will someone please tell me? Thank You!
