Would certainly agree that I prefer to earn the turns, and can get into more technical terrain by climbing. This was more an opportunity to adventure with dad than it was for epic snow or terrain. Majestic charges by vertical feet, not by laps. So you pay for a package with a certain amount of guaranteed vertical feet, and they refund you whatever you don’t end up skiing

That’s an etiquette thing to preserve powder for the rest of the crew.

Haha glad you enjoyed it. And I’m not too worried, I have faith it will get discovered with time. The trip is 13k for a 90 vert/7 day package and you get refunded for any amount of vert you don’t ski. They also offer one day and three day trips. We ended up skiing around 70 something thousand vert

Thanks! That would be no less than a year worth of savings for me... can probably go to colorado for 3 months for this amount... still, looks unbelievable... I imagine most people who end up on your channel are more into hiking up themselves, but I imagine just the helicopter rides themselves are pretty incredible.

one more question... do you think this requires expert level skiing?

@@SlavaEremenko Yes. I only went on this trip as an excuse to adventure with my dad, I much prefer ski touring, but I’ll take a few helicopter rides if I have the opportunity

@@SlavaEremenko It helps to know how to ski powder, but otherwise probably not. Most of what we skied was pretty chill
