Oh yeah, Majorette is kicking it (as the kids say)! I always loved Majorette because they were "quirky" and did things their own way. The pliable suspension allowed you to do some heavy cornering, the clear headlights / taillights on a model looked great in the 1970s as they do now, and I always found the cars a perfect balance between "toy" and what is now an "adult collectible". The models have a fun fantasy "toy" factor to them, but the details are so intricate that it wouldn't take much to make them adult collectibles. The Honda Civic is one I am eyeing, I still need to get a Cefiro, the Supra looks like a buy but for me in a more stock color. They owe Paul a new R34!!!! WTH??? They made Paul curse, and rightly so he had to! Strange how the hood must have been defective without a pin .....I wouldn't think you would just lift it out.....but I just watched another video of the same set, and it looks like it was made that way. They could have warned us all!!!!!!
Majorette's new Japan Series themed cars are excellent. I have seen the latest single carded Deluxe and Premium versions (which are standard colours without the anime decal designs). The fully removable hood on the Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR34) also took me by surprise when I opened one on single card and the same thing happened! I will be looking for this 5-pack because I think the castings are incredible and the anime style decals are original and unique. Thanks for the video unboxing / review my friend =)

That is a nice set. I don't collect Majorette, but I do like their Lamborghinis. I have a 5 car giftpack set like you do with opening parts and all that. I will also once in a while pick up a Maisto Lamborghini.
