Yup. I'm British but living in Nigeria and literally doing the same thing. Soursop is expensive; so now I've got a nursery of soursop, grapefruit, custard apple, oranges and lime and I'm replanting in my city farm where I also have a banana and plantain plantation. You have to take life into your own hands and don't depend on anyone for anything. 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬
Where do you live?…your price figures are off by my grocery store.. I buy very little from grocery stores but I check prices ….I do agree folks should grow food…I grow at least 75% of my produce..but it’s not a simple task..I grow my fruits and vegetables…except bananas….have chickens ,ducks, rabbits, goats …. I also sale the extra to pay property taxes….I definitely live off the land…it’s good to receive advice on gardening from someone with knowledge…As for work I worked in the real world making a good salary . I stop in 2009 I work from home for myself.if you need any information about growing anything I will give you some advice on any crop..feel free to ask…I always encourage folks to grow something even if it’s a tomato, pepper, greens or something…..peace out…..
