Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been bubbling for quite some time, but his biggest hit to date is the Platinum single “Drowning” featuring Kodak Black. With Jahaan Sweet handling production duties, the song has more than 107 million Spotify streams since it released in March 2017, and the Julliard-trained producer sat down with Genius to discuss the song’s creation.

This guy actually has talent, which is rare for a producer these days. He understands music theory, slays the piano and knows what he is talking about. What a legend, he deserves every bit of success that he gets. Feels like mostly every other "producer" finds a VST plugin, adds in some 808's and then plays around with the sound until it works.
