NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. This video is not mine. I haven't seen this posted anywhere online, so I figured I would upload this. It's a Disney Channel original from 1995.
I think that A Goofy Movie is the most 90s out of all of Disney's 90s movies (including films from Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures and Miramax)
Jim Cummings is a legend! He took his Winnie the Pooh's voice, took it down to a raspy bass octave and made Pete! Lol And there's Rob Paulsen who took PJ's voice made a bit more timid and dorky and made Carl Weezer a few years later another legend!
This would go to be Disneys best movies ever made .. From the music, tone and all over message ...it showed the love of a single father trying to stay in his sons life ... Something that some men fail to do ...what a master peice
After 25 Years, this movie never gets old, ever! It's one of the best ones I've ever seen, while very young! Even our hostess, Jenna Von Oy, hasn't lost a beat since voicing Stacey, and acting as Six on the short-lived series "Blossom"! And.....elle parle bien le français! "She can speak French well!"
I met Goofy & Max themselves, Jason Marden & Bill Farmer @ D23 2015 & they still got it. watched Eye 2 Eye concert on youtube since I didn't have pleasure of seeing Tevin Campbell sing #1 hit from movie in person, but he still got that singing nailed down :)
There has to be footage of that somewhere. The I2I song was huge where I lived at the time. It was everywhere. I was always a fan of the show - and that Talespin show that can on after it.
I love watching Bill Farmer Jim Cummings and Rob Paulsen record for this! I especially loved it when Rob did his Yakko voice there in comparison to P.J
Uh I think that this film has quite a following over the last 10 or so years. However, Atlantis the Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, The Rocketeer, and The Rescuers Down Under are amoung some of the underrated animated and live action classics.
I think The Princess and the Frog is so underrated. The story is great, the animation is the best Disney has done since Sleeping Beauty, and Tiana is just so sweet and adorable. Prince Malveen is not good enough for her!
Yes. It was actually guaranteed to have her play Stacey, since she was on another sitcom with Mayim Bialik and Joey Lawrence called "Blossom". Her character was "Six" on the show. Boy, they made the right choice.
moviefan 99 u have Roxanne face as ur profile picture! And it's the Roxanne from Max's dream before it turns into a nightmare, and where he turns into his dad!
They should restore this "Making of" featurette for the 25th anniversary edition 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray, and DVD, and also add the following features. 1.) Original Theatrical Trailers (4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD only) 2.) Mickey Mouse in "Runaway Brain" (played before the movie in theaters outside of the US) 3.) An extended edition of scenes nearly complete in the animation setting, but were dropped out, including extended verses of songs 4.) A "Sing Along with the movie" option for both cuts 5.) An option to either have Max's singing voice by Aaron Lohr (original dub) or Jason Marsden (special edition dub) [Could be found in the options menu or something] 6.) Mitchell Musso's music video for "Stand Out" from "Disney Mania 7" (4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD only) 7.) 2 deleted songs
I watched this movie alone & with my bf on Disney+ last month & also the 2nd Goofy movie. I was 4 yrs old when a Goofy Movie came out. We used to have this movie recorded on tape from long ago. This was one of my childhood movies. Jason Marsden was also the voice of Thackery Binx in Hocus Pocus & Kovu in Lion King 2. He was so young while voicing those movies.
I didn't even notice that Jenna Von Oy was Stacey maybe it's because she wasn't talking as fast as she does in Blossom when she plays Six and also she is talking with a lisp. But I love her so much and Blossom this makes me really happy that she's in my favorite Disney movie.
It is really fun to see that this movie was animated all over the world, Australia and France among them. I can see a little problem there with language barrier but indeed it is fun to see the diffrences how they adapt the scenes and what they put in the backgrounds. It is a lot of scenes to watch over so animation errors are hard to spot, you don´t see the movie, you watch a couple seconds and you don´t always get to see a full scene at the same time.
I very vaguely remember watching this special on TV… I was 3 years old at the time. The fact that I remember having seen this so few times while that young really says something about my later developing an interest in animation’s history and the making of movies as a whole…
I remember this on Disney Channel! i was turning 13 when i saw this in one of Albuquerque's theaters with my best friend and his family and dug it. Plus i had the hots for Roxanne and the blonde Lisa during my adolescence.
Ah the Memories! I remember as a kid I used to watch the goofy movie on a DVD player on the back of my moms chair. As a kid I really didn’t get the message of the movie or some of the darker references (like the electric chair) but I watch it all.the.time! As I’m older, I have a much deeper appreciation for the movie! I just found out recently that it actually has a sequel! A extremely goofy movie! Hopes it’s on Disney plus!!
Roxy LPS He was on Green Acres as Mr Haney as well as Napoleon from The Aristocats, The Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood, Luke from The Rescuers, Chief from The Fox and the Hound, and one of the bullets from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
@@renohasbigtits And he also voiced as the Lester outfit in Lester's Possum Park or something like that shortly after he did those recordings, he died.
Jenna von Oy is born on the same day in May as my cousin who participated in my parents' 💒 as a flower 👧🏻 45 years ago. I 💕 behind the scenes segments of Disney movies, because I'm a fan of voice acting. I did impressions of Goofy when I was in kindergarten. No one got it, because they didn't laugh WITH me 27 years ago.
I think it’s cool that Disney asked Blossom Star Jenna von Oy to host that special, especially because she provided the voice of Roxanne’s best friend Stacey!
I suppose with this film the animators wanted to show us something real and spared no expense. Makes the animation outfit in Orlando look like a petting zoo. Thank you for sharing.
… For once, I want to disagree with Dr. Hammond. But I can’t because this movie really is well done. The only thing making me want to disagree is that I am fiercely defensive of the Florida animation branch because they made two of my favorite Disney features- my #1, “Lilo & Stitch” and “Brother Bear”. :/ On the whole though, I typically and probably stupidly agree with a man who’d blow millions to genetically re-engineer dinosaurs and set them free into a park with minimal and faulty defenses. 🤣 In fact, Dr. Hammond is my favorite character in the first novel.
I remember this movie and it's on Disney plus. As a matter of fact, the cartoon that this person is talking about is Mickey's Revue. But my favorite Disney movies with this famous character in them are Fun and Fancy Free, Mickey's Christmas Carol and The Prince and The Pauper. Goofy was also on Mousercise and I love this character's performance.
I'm 44 (in 2024) and some days I physically ache for the 90s. Not even to be young again. But the world felt so free and non threatening and achievable 1993-sep 10th 2001...sigh it's only gonna get worse
