I read somewhere else that people dislike due to the use of the premiere feature. Apparently it sucks and the creator makes less money for using it as well. Might be dislikes in order to discourage the use of the feature? Idk
i wanna mod my keyboard and lube my switches by taking it apart and putting Band-Aids but im scared my mom is gonna walk in my room and be like "youre already breaking it?"
Great vid. When you solder it looks like you are feeding it by pushing the solder in to the tip of your iron. Using the iron to get the flow going is fine, but I recommend trying to feed the hole itself after it starts flowing. This way you get a better contact for the finished solder point. That way you end up with the cone at each point, rather than the bubbles you see. But again, great vid. Love the look of the case. Might pick it up myself lol
I love how everytime I'm looking to buy a new keyboard I find this guys videos and I sit through the whole thing even though this isnt what i'm looking for lmao
Finally, a good non over the top RGB mech, so clean, i love the aesthetics, i love the sound, everything! Keep keyboarding hamaji! *also plz dont waste ur money for the sake of our entertainment*
I don't know why but I hate normal rainbow RGB keyboards and pcs. I have no idea why everything "gamer" has to be black and RGB or how it got to that point.
I like your non gatekeeping approach to keyboards. Showing it is okay to not know everything and your learning process probably calms a lot of beginners. When I first got into the hobby a few years ago, I felt so stupid and wouldn't want to ask questions anywhere lol
This is the only video I have dropped a like on. Sounds amazing. Never cared about custom mechanical keyboard scene but that beautiful looking and sounding keyboard made me so intrigued.
The typing portion of these videos are so damn satisfying to listen to. Also the colors of the keyboard are quite nice :^) Even though I barely know anything about mechanical keyboards, you make it so interesting to watch. Also loved 4:50
I actually like the alu plates, because they have a little more give than brass and also they don’t oxidize and get yucky like brass, which is especially important for soldered builds that you can’t clean quickly...
So crazy to see how much the keyboard market has changed in just a year. A lot of the parts are something I'd never buy these days lol. Like, do people even run Zeal anymore? lol
you're applying too much lube when lubing the springs! Put about a fourth of the lube you used there, and mush it around in the bag *before* you put the springs in.
same but i am 13 and I blew all my fucking money on a gk61. its not bad but i love the switches he used in his keyboard. Also I have yellow optical on my keyboard :(
@@whydidipickthename7413 My friend. I see you are very dedicated. But my allowance is 2$ weekly. And i spend stuff for my pc and games. But congratulations that you are building this keyboard.
TOFU has a clean and quality aesthetic and build but tray mount really is on it's way out I think, especially with gaskets and other mounts getting more and more affordable. Tray mount has such inconsistent sound signature across the board.
only if you clipped wrong, sometimes when you clip a bit will stay on but it can be fixed by sanding however if you do It right the first time then it shouldn’t be a problem
I don’t know how to explain the way this keyboard sounds. It’s so aesthetically pleasing to look at and listen too. Great build! Keep up the amazing work!
if you do some typing game/ site every day in your free time and do that for a few months you can probably increase to 100. If you are basically using all your fingers, it doesn't matter if you use touch-typing, you can still reach 100+. I used to be 60-70 wpm, 80 max, and now I am 100 average and 120 max after a few months of practice.
oh my god, this build sounds nuts! i just ordered all the parts for my first custom keyboard and i cant wait to build it! ill be using Moyu Queen Switches which are gonna be filmed and lubed
I may be getting a Tofu65, and one question of mine is, for thock should I go for the brass plate or the polycarbonate plate. (Keep in mind I would also be getting plate and case foam)
When i have the money, i want to do almost same one, but a bit diffrent. Heres the part list Custom keyboard Parts __________________________ Switches: tealios v2 Case: tofu65 Pcb: dz65 v3 Plate: alu plate Films: deskeys Stabz: durock v2 screw in Lube: 205g0 and super lube oil Cable: blue samurai coiled cable Keycaps: redsuns gmk blue samurai: basekit+spacebars+coiled cable
So I’m getting into mechanical keyboards and I don’t know what board. I’m not really In to soldiering and stuff. I was looking at the nk65 but it’s never in stock. Please give me idea trying to stay under 150$ for the keyboard kit it’s self
