Agreed. I’d never listened to him being interviewed before. Like Ian Brown, I think Noel’s real / himself. Both have held on to their mental health well as a result....not being superstars. Incredible musicians. I lean heavily towards Mr Brown as an other worldly person. He’s a seer.
This is a true example of a classic album which you can just press play & let it roll till the end. Absolutely amazing songwriting from Noel. Great timeless music. Then you just press repeat and listen to it again & again. ✌️👍✌️
Its funny you should say that-I spent two years in my racing simulator racing F1 cars to about 30 world championships listening to this music. Im waiting for the next time I feel that good for that long. Driving music? Not half mate!!!👍
@TheGooners11 It's obvious Liam & Noel are both the problem. The can't treat each other right, it's like their is no respectful boundaries between them. Liam gets along with Dave Grohl or Bonehead, because that respect boundary is still up. Noel gets along with his current bandmates, walks the streets with them having a laugh, for that same reason. But put the two brothers together, and the argument is coming. Then you have the creative struggle, Noel wants to explore music and Liam wants to stay the same. That adds even more problems. Also, Liam is rumored to have public arguments with his girlfriend and with his brother Paul(if that one is true). Liam is cool with having that dramatic life, Noel doesn't seem to enjoy that stress anymore. Yes I agree it was wrong for Sara to mock Liam... but cmon, after the hundred times Liam mocked her husband, he had some shit coming. I do believe if Liam would just ENCOURAGE Noel's happiness and stop the wisecracks, they'd soon be on speaking terms. At worst, Noel might pick on Liam and that would show his true colors. But Liam, he can't let it go, but I admit he has been doing better lately.
I'm only 5yrs late listening to NGHFB ! I really have missed out.....amazing !!!!! I was too busy starting a family in the 90's and I didn't want to get spat on by a certain lead singer in a certain band to understand and appreciate the genius of mr Noel Gallagher...... Thank god I have finally found you and your music.
@@TheBiologyking and you, it's exactly how I write, you don't sit down and go "I'm gonna do this and that" and all that. I just pick up my guitar and hope for something to happen!
his 2 albums will always be on the top of my playlist, im sure they will be classics when they run there course with out a doubt. just hope he keeps banging out the tunes. Legend.
The studio where Noel is standing on the stairs while discussing Stop the Clocks is the same studio Brian Wilson and the Wrecking Crew recorded parts of Pet Sounds. My two favorite me, one incredible studio in an amazing city. I loved watching this, thank you for bringing it here.
Even Liam said it in a podcast I heard today where there's versions of four songs on the album, Everybody's on the run included, where HE sings them and knows for a fact Noel was thinking about going solo and kept them for himself.

24:17 I feel so fucking silly Do the Damage in 2012... Fuck sakes
this was such an amazing vid I'm glad I downloaded the alb off iTunes and got both versions of the Japanese edition and American edition, I just never got alone on the rope :/ since it was a Amazon only track
@fondoogle - both thumbs enthusiastically up. Of all the music I've loved over the years, I can honestly say that the man that inspired me to learn to play the guitar was in fact, NG.
I love the fact that Noel listened to Dave Sardy and recorded the drum tracks as it shows even though he is a very successful songwriter and recording artist he is grounded and he even states that he was wrong and Dave Sardy was right
If you get Faster than the speed of light he put most of the album demos in album order. It's a CD with the live DVD. Dream on is my favourite because the Chorus is "Dream on, that blonde birds mingin! There's not a lot to see!"... he changed it by the master but it still always makes me giggle.
What a man. Such a cool guy, I have tons of respect for what he's done. Shame they didn't mention 'A simple game of genius' in the film, cause that's one of my favourites off this album.
You know how he made the follow up Chasing Yesterday? He ate nothing but kale for a week then went to the loo and dropped a deuce, recorded the sound of it plopping and splashing.
