The Making of 'TERMINATOR GENISYS' Behind The Scenes 

I think it had more to do with the 'backtracking' they did and starting 'wokeness'. Making John Conner the bad guy just didn't sit well (killing him off in the last one, was even worse). Although nothing against the actor who played Kyle Reese (I like him in several other movies, aswell as the Spartacus series), but he was just a miscast. Especially when you compare it to Michael Biehn. Another problem was that, after Terminator Salvation, people were finally ready and expecting to see the war, that we only saw snippets of in the first 2 movies. Actually, we were already expecting it after Terminator 3. I initially didn't even like Terminator Salvation because of this, although I think Salvation is actually a very good Terminator movie, without it being about explicitly about the terminators. I do have Genysis on Blu-ray though, I'm kinda a sucker for 3D movies. Every movie after Salvation was actually bad, because it didn't progress the story, and it actually altered it, just for the sake of pandering to current politics. One of the reasons why any movie isn't enjoyable anymore, because it isn't about entertainment or progression of story anymore, but just politics-propaganda and rehashing 'working formulas' to make a guaranteed profit. Which aren't guaranteed anymore, because people grow tired of the same thing over and over again, just with a different coat on it. You can argue all of this, because Terminator movies have the timeloop advantage. But it's a weak argument for no't advancing the story and changing it for the sake of changing it. I watch movies because I want to have a bit of an escape from the day to day, same o same life situations and reality, just be entertained.

So much money wasted on bullshit that won't even be noticed on screen. Yes, these effects artists are extremely talented, but theres nobody reigning them in to say, hey, we don't need this obscene level of detail for a scene that will be on screen for 1/2 second.

Glad to see someone being positive about this film. I loved it when i saw it in the cinemas I was 15 at the time so I have a soft spot for this movie. I think this a very solid sequel and doesn't deserve the hate. Much better than all the other sequels

New movies cannot be called movies because 90% of the time special effects are shown. These are actually fckn video games that have been renamed into movies. What a shit!

Dark Fate is the best so far, just wasn't as crappy as genysis

It was so badly cast. They're all fantastic actors but not one of them are right for the part, except from Arnold obviously. Just a terrible movie from start to finish. The expiry date went off this milk after T2.

She did mention the terminator changed history when she was a child ; it killed her parents and was rescued by another terminator (another arnold)…this terminator end up as her guardian and raised her up as a warrior… the movie left a lot questions unanswered of coz… was about to make a second movie… but due to huge negativity from critics n audiences, it was cancelled.

And Connor. The casting was crap in this movie. The 3 main actors look too well fed, Amelia is too short, and the guys are too bulky.
