In February of 2021, Texas A&M Forest Service planted a Moon Tree in the Gardens at Texas A&M University. Afterwards, we sat down with Astronaut and Colonel Michael Fossum to discuss this momentous occasion, and the Apollo 14 Mission that carried seeds into space, to the moon, and back home to be planted at various points across the world (including the White House, the Emperor's Palace in Japan, etc.).
You can now go and visit the Moon Tree at the TAMU Gardens near the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences building.
