Love this video! You guys make engaging travel videos, great b roll, commentary, good music. You guys got a subscriber out of me! Keep making great content
Damn. Beautiful beaches. You guys always have such a good time. Yeah the resorts look great but the adventures you guys have are worth way more than a resort!
Cambodia looks like a great time! Didn't make it there when we were in Southeast Asia on this trip, but your videos make us want to definitely make it there on our next Southeast Asia adventure! Cheers, friends!
You should try to visit Koh Kong province too. It has white sandy beaches, big Islands, water falls and forests. Most Cambodian beaches cover with white or golden sands. There are not many tourists or too crowded like in Thailand or Vietnam but good for people who do not like big crow. Have fun!
Not sure if yall got a chance to check out Koh Rong Samloem, but it sounds like it'd be perfect for yall two. Luxury feeling, less partying, private, even more beautiful and cleaner than Koh Rong!
Did you guys cover koh rong sanloem as well? Long Beach in KR was one of the places I looked into before going to Cambodia but decided to go to KR sanloem instead.
@@TonyOi yeah you're right in a way. I didn't go to koh rong only a short pit stop at the jetty in koh touch and from your video long beach is very similar to saracen Bay in KR Sanloem. The vibe, the beach beauty, the turquoise water. Initially I wanted to stay at saracen Bay but after much deliberation I decided to go to m'pai Bei a fishing village north of KR sanloem. It's a unique experience in mpai Bei seeing it slowly transforming from a fishing village into a backpackers/budget travellers hub. The beach front used to be lined up with fishermen's wooden houses on stilts but were gradually taken down and shifted to the inland area of the village. So that the beach would be cleared up and cleaned up.
You went all that way and not the last 5km to the much better Koh Rong Sanloem? It might be smaller, but it's much cleaner, has vastly nicer beaches, better places to stay and far fewer people. Also, has some great walks/sights (the secret sandstone sculptures being built in the forest, the lighthouse etc). Lazy Beach on Koh Rong Sanloem is the end-all of Cambodian island spots.
Hey man! Frances and I are just not beach people. I mean I love a good beach but I’m not one to just lay and bake in the sun. We did some research on it and didn’t think the light house was really worth seeing. Didn’t know about the sandstone sculptures though!
Wasn’t real feeling it there to be honest. There is two other islands close which might have a better vibe. There is a nice bar called the nest on 4 k beach and it was Intresting visiting all the abandoned buildings on the other side of the island Ankor wat was the best thing in Cambodia but that was about it
You guys bought yourselves plane tickets costing thousands of dollars to get there and you complain that it was a little pricey for the $10 kayak? Come on. Bring out your vacation money. State the price but drop the qualifier of “this is a bit expensive” because it’s $10! Gasoline prices are high and they have to bring supplies over to the island and hire people to wait there for people to have something fun to do. So, stop complaining about the price and don’t bargain just to get $1 off. Your dollar goes a long way for these people because Cambodia is still an impoverished nation.
Hey dude. We travelled from Asia cause we live here so it wasn't thousands of dollars, but I get your point. You do need to understand my content niche is backpacking, so for an activity like rowing a kayak for 20mins for us canadians thats 13-14$ . It is expensive when you compare other tours you've been on that is a half or whole day activity for that price lol. Plus we didn't bargain or complain, we expressed we felt like it was expensive for what we saw it was at the time and expressed after wards it was really nice and worth it. I don't fake stuff for the vlogs. I tell you how it is and my opinion on things in the moment in time. Also I expressed this because for backpackers a 10$ kayaking activity over a full day snorkeling trip at the same price might make it feel like the kayaking activity is expensive.
@@francesfraser-reid6342 sad. Marine creatures need mangroves and corals to flourish. It also happens to malaysian corals too. But touch wood we still have a lot living ones. Once the temperature is high in the ocean, it will bleach. It will affect fishing as our fishermen reported fewer catch in recent years.
