90% of Pakistanis in UK are from Kashmir or mirpur. They're all quite similar (dialect and cultural tendencies) that might be the reason for the generalisation. Far fewer educated Pakistanis migrated to UK in the last 6 to 7 decades.
Yaser Ali if they’re from Kashmir that’s not exactly Pakistan. Kashmiri’s are more prevalent in the West Midlands but they certainly don’t makeup for the rest of the U.K. there are lots of people here from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. The mirpuri language is completely independent and not similar to Urdu or panjabi although many like to dispute that it’s similar to panjabi.
