I just watch all 10 episodes and I can say, I really enjoyed them. At the start, it took a while for me to get into it, as I was more concentrating on the world, instead of the plot itself, though that changed and really like the way the built the personalities. Can recommend it to people ;)

I really hope this film doesn't demonize Japan and Germany as totally evil countries. After the war, Germany and Japan both progressed into two of the most peaceful countries of the developed world. Japan has fully acknowledged it's war crimes (except with china... strangely enough) and so has Germany. I think that this trailer's depiction of Germans and the Japanese sets back portrayals of those countries and country's people to the time of world war two.

Watching this makes me so proud of my grandfather’s sacrifice in WWII. And I know I’m not the only one. God Bless everyone who served and serves.

Having watched all 3 seasons in 2 weeks I can tell you it's worth the watch. There are some very evil people in here with humanity and it makes you understand them and their reasons why they are as they are.

I wish more people could watch this show so people could really develop a sense of gratefulness for our modern nation that wasn’t just handed to us. It had to be earned.

It's kind of interesting to think of Japan as still being Imperial Japan. That should be interesting to see. I haven't read the novel, but I think it's an interesting concept of what could happen if a few little things were different in history. If the U.S. hadn't been successful in Normandy, if the Germans had been successful in Russia, etc. Although we've seen this concept before, most recently with the last Wolfenstein game, I think this will be an interesting series. I haven't seen much Amazon studios have done, but this seems pretty impressive.

Did he just say "I want my country back"? This is too eerie. Doesn't that mantra sound slightly familiar to anyone else? The writer was able to see splintered realities (possibly future events) and wrote about them frequently.

It's a very compelling premise and I loved the book. Of course, by the tone of this trailer, it looks like the show will stray far from the source material and develop it's own stories, which isn't a bad thing. The book is way less revolutionary, and is more about the characters adjusting to the reality of occupation. I hope they retain as a theme the Japanese obsession with pre-war American artifacts...Anyway, the show looks cool!

God I just wish people would stop arguing about politics and propaganda shits and just enjoy a good tv show. It's just fiction for christ sakes. The show offers the question that most of us ask ourselves every day "what if?" and personally I always feel that stories about alternative history are quite entertaining and has its own appeal. I don't understand why y'all always at each other's throats.

Odd that given the showcasing of her martial arts process, when attacked on the bridge having handed the film over, she screams and wrestles like a housewife, instead of dealing with his advances in a heartbeat. Huge plot hole.

I see the comments saying that this is propaganda. 1) It's just a trailer... I see the comments saying that this is for a movie. 2) This isn't for a movie... It's for a miniseries. So if you're going to complain about it, do it correctly. I see comments saying that this is unrealistic and that the Axis wouldn't do this. 3) This is alternate history..... Anything can happen in the alternates...

I think this entire show is actually one big film showing us what could have been.

I watched the first few episodes of this back to back when I found it.

In this parallelworld, I would have met my grandfather. He was a submarine captain and was shot down (killed) by the Allies. In dieser Parallelwelt hätte ich meinen Großvater kennengelernt. Er war U-Boot Kapitän und wurde von den Alliierten abgeschossen (getötet).

Frank Frink is the best name ever

Ive watched 2 seasons so far and i have to say. I love alot about this serie but the plot armor of Juliana is just too thick , its kinda the same with frank but the concept of actions having reactions is atleast a little bit more apparent when it comes to his character. Its the only thing i dislike about the series because it kinda removes the thrill to whenever theres a "oooh shes in a picky one how will she handle this?" Since her plotarmor just removes any obstacle in her way.

I gave this a chance, because I've fallen in love with Philp K. Dick's stories, but there is no sci fi here, only a seemingly bleaker reality than ours, and ours is dark enough, thank you.

Even if the Axis were somehow able to win WW2 (it was impossible for them to win), America would not be taken. America is huge. Too much land to take over, especially for those days. If the Axis powers did have the balls to invade (if they even won in Europe and the Pacific), they could not take over all of the United States. In the end in that situation, Japan and Germany would more than likely just sign a peace treaty

To explain how things got to this point: a little background knowledge is needed. In this alternate world, FDR is assassinated. His replacement is a complete isolationist and as a result, the US does absolutely nothing to help the Allies in World War 2. No lend lease act, no supplies, nothing. Germany and Japan invade the U.S. The fight is brief and American troops fight valiantly, but ultimately lose. Japan and Germany split the U.S. with a neutral buffer zone along the Rocky Mountain region. Life under the Japanese is not terrible. They develop a thing for old American memorabilia. German occupied US is technologically advanced and highly industrial. There's of course a resistance movement going on which the Germans and Japanese are trying the stop. Meanwhile, a mystery man known as the Man in the High Castle makes these alternate history films that show the Allies winning the war. Also, the Germans and Japanese are on the verge of war.

How is it I've never heard of this show until now? Wow

I understand many people interesting this move. Because Im bit interesting too. But I also feeling unpleasant My heart feeling pain. Because Im japanes. Until now people have something bad feeling about Japan and german? we have to try to make more peaceful world. Dear German Please helping us 🙏

I am sorry, guys, but while Seasons 1-2 were pretty awesome, Season 4 was not so great in many ways: 1. *Lack of returning old characters / almost no introduction of interesting new ones.* Where is Ed and Nicole and the Crown Prince and Juliana's family, and why is there no alternate Joe Blake or Frank or Tagomi? Tagomi did not even speak one word this season, did he HAVE to go so soon, was Juliana even really aware of his fate? And nothing against the actor, but the romance with Wyatt seemed so forced and flat that I have no real words for it honestly. 2. *Rushed storyline and plot.* What happened to Juliana in the year after she fell into the alternate reality? So John was aware of Helen's destination and whereabouts all along while we were given the impression she was hiding from him at the end of Season 3? And what about the angry brainwashed American youth marching in public, that was another potential storyline that was never really explored. 3. *Few engaging action scenes.* There was just way less suspense and action in this season than in the first two, to say the least, very limited number of one-on-one action scenes other than Juliana and Wyatt taking on that German woman, of course no real war sequence in the last episode either. You never really get the sense that the future of the entire world or multiverse is at stake, it has to be said, it was like everything went out with a fizzle. 4. *Poor, bizarre and deeply unsatisfactory ending.* What the heck with those people walking through the portal? John's fate was so unoriginal that the shock value was non-existent practically. So many loose ends not tied up, we are just left to wonder and speculate, and are left with more questions than answers, really. 5. *Potential plot holes.* Why does the Resistance all love Juliana even though they were trying to off her for most of Season 2, and she was responsible for no less than 3 of their high-ranking members? How did the "good guys" break through the Portal's security so quickly and almost effortlessly in the last episode? If the rebels dislike "white people" so much and lost their families to the death camps, why the heck are they attacking only the Japanese (who at least let them live and work in their cities) and not their German rivals? If the rebels want a separate state, is it only possible within Japan's territory along the Left Coast, not within the Neutral Zone or elsewhere in the world? And did the element of the films and its connection to freedom become forgotten for the most part? So overall, it was really at best below-average quality, and was frankly deeply disappointing. I am sorry, but I kind of really did expect way more from Amazon, they spent millions or billions of dollars on THIS? I mean, come on, guys, try better.

if there was a series made that scared the hell out of me, it is this. Not The Walking Dead or anything from your usual horror genre, alternate history scares me the most. When I read The Eagle Against the Sun and then this, my heart sank to a level of fear I have not known since I saw Steven King's IT. When you see how close we were to this type of future, I am truly GLAD things panned out the way they did. It may have not been the BEST way, but a lot better than what could have been..

About the Italy subject: People here really need to read some WW2 books. Not even counting the italian wins on France, the Balkans and Africa. Italy was the key to the german invasion of Austria, responsible for the strategics "white cards" given to the Reich on the League of Nations, and the key to the fall of the 3rd Reich, about this last topic, the german in charge of the Italian front in 1944, didn't let the Reich send troops to the northwest French side, months before the Overlord operation, to hold the allies miles before Rome. Making the fall of Mussolini, by it's own party and the kingdom that used to support him, the first domino to the allied victory of the WW2. And thank you Italy for that, I really like my free speech. Respect the fallen of the italian victims of a spoiled leader. Respect history.
