The greatest man in history is Jesus. He had no servant, yet they called him master. He had no degree, yet they called him teacher. He had no medicines,yet they called him healer. He had no army, yet kings feared him. He won no military battle, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him. He was buried in a tomb,yet he lives Today. Amen.

This is a new day. Forces that have held you back are being broken. I believe and declare what Zephaniah prophesied. Everything you’ve lost will be restored. Instead of shame, you will have honor. Burdens you’ve carried are being lifted. People that have hindered you are being moved out of the way. The sick are being healed. The prodigals are coming home. You will be respected wherever you go. @Wide Awake You should read (Psalm 5: 5) where God says that He HATES the sinner… God is capable of ALL things, for He IS the Creator of ALL things, even emotions… From where do you think our own emotions came from…? Understanding what Perfect Love and Perfect hate is; (Psalm 139: 22)… Then you may gain understanding of how God can Love and hate perfectly, for eternity… “I HATE them with PERFECT HATRED: I count them mine enemies…” This isn’t David speaking, this is the Almighty God and Creator of all Heavens, earth and and seas, and everything within them speaking…

Lol Whatever BHI is, I’m not that, I just Love studying the Bible and taking it seriously and literally… (Those parts that are literal anyway)… Like Christ isn’t a literal “door”, (John 10: 9)… I know He’s meaning that He IS the ONLY way to get to God, (John 14: 6)… And how do we enter into a room…? By a door… Hence He says anyone who comes tried to come in to God by any other way than Him, is a thief and robber, (John 10: 1)… Anyway, I Love God and His Scriptures and the way they all tie in with one another, each verse is relevant to the other… But, a (BHI?) I am not, my friend…

@Wide Awake Oh yeah, yeah I’ve heard of those guys before… They’re just as bad as the KKK for their hatred of white people… Claim that they’re based off the Word of God, yet, they mustve skipped over, forgotten and disregarded the verse of God’s Word that says, “Don’t hate the Edomite…” (Deuteronomy 23: 7) How can we Love our neighbours if we hate anyone…? Is that NOT one of the Commands of our Lord Christ Jesus unto His disciples…? (Matthew 22: 39; Romans 13: 9; James 2: 8 & Galatians 5: 14)… So, you know for a black person, which I am, what they say sounds really good, gives one a feeling of Hope almost, but, that lasts only for those who’d only know what Scripture actually says and understand it… And once I really listened to their message, naaawh, they’re truly of satan preaching a false doctrine of demons… And I’m sure some will resist and m out like what I just said, but if it does not line up exactly with what God has had written in Scripture, then, it’s a product of satan by default… Nope, I’m not BHI, I’m a simple disciple of our Lord Christ Jesus to my core…

These people in the old testament were ruthless and "messed up". Yep, you are right. However, God purposefully chose the worthless people, the cast aways, the second born, etc b/c those are the ones that He choose to display his power and glory. If God chose the cream of the crop, the strongest, bravest, smartest, most capable then what part of these men's successful lives does God play a part of? These people will say "I DID IT. I DID IT ON MY OWN and with my own bare hands." However, God chose the least likely or "cast aways" and make them more than successful but divinely superior over all others to display His glory and power. Get it? With man, it is impossible. With God, all is possible.

In context, in saying God loved Jacob but hated Esau, it is not a matter of God hating anyone. It is God choosing Jacob and his descendants and rejecting Esau and his descendants. Esau sold his inheritance and his descendants would go on to aid Israel’s enemies in attacking them. Esau may have been a good man. Jacob also had his bad qualities. The difference is that one was open to following God and was chosen, while the other was not. Not all of Jacob’s descendants were good people and brought on the wrath of God as a result of their turning away from Him. The Bible is connected in such a way that no man or men could have inspired it. The prophecies alone set it apart from all other works of man. It truly is the Word of God.

What confuses me is God's favor and goodwill toward one over another. Deception and manipulation are bad, so why was Jacob rewarded? Why and how was he was able to do this? What did Esau do to deserve this? It reminds me of Cain and Abel. Is God's grand master plan fair? We often say "life isn't fair" to come to terms with misfortune. But why? Why is life not fair? Why did God create humans on earth where the devil roamed freely? Seems like a conflict of interest. What is the true model of goodness? Is it attainable? What are the laws of Heaven? What are the rules that govern God's judgment and favor?

Adam and Eve continuing on the path of life. The symbolism is skewed by us today. Everything works in pairs of conflict on ever growing complexity. It looks like a mandlebrot set going deeper and deeper into the image. You get lost and dont know how to stop. I am reading Numbers at the moment. Its about the Tabernacle and the cloud over the tent. God comes down over the Tent and gives information. The cloud moves and the people go on a journey until the cloud stops and the tabernacle is is set up again. Trumpets are made to summon the elders to the tent etc. God gives information or truths via instructions. The people have to work the information by going on a mental journey until they accept the given concept and are ready for more. When they are ready the cloud stops and gives another lesson. This way the people spiritually evolve. We don't do that. We are individuals. We hold onto our belief structure because its easier. When you have a world war, the leaders want to go back to what gave them a good life. The people reject this. They fought for a better life. Adam and Eve could take from the trees in the garden. They could eat as much as they wanted from Gods food. This is eating God and learning. Now we eat from ourself because of the fall. Eve knew Adam so she fell into Adam and created a circular thought pattern like the mandlebrot set. Instead of taking God's energy and holding it to create our world. We need to let go. Eve is the window to God. Our higher awareness. She was one thought but is now in many peices as life spreads out. Our thought needs to think on her higher level and work up rather down in the world.

Alot of people who read this story have trouble understanding the morality issue. Our God wants the best for all of us so it is difficult to comprehend why he favored jacob over esau amd at first I felt the same way. The utter betrayal made me ask God why was Jacob favored if he betrayed his own good brother? But then I see that Jacob and Rebecca did meet the consequences of their actions. Jacob was forced to leave his home and people(which is painful), and serve another man for 14 years. Rebecca had to live with the fact that she caused her son to flee and not see him or know of his where abouts for awhile and lives with the guilt of betraying her other son. Esau became a leader of his own people/tribe and prospered he met Jacob years later and forgave and embraced his brother. But aside from the morality aspect, we need to understand the state of humanity. Us humans at the time were worshiping demons masquerading as gods, and God needed to gather his people and correct the world and Jacob was predestined to be the nation. I believe it's a matter of fate, forgiveness and endurance.

@j.chriswatson6847
@j.chriswatson6847 2 года назад
@@andromedadelux What is cap? Which liar are you referring to and what position are you referring to? As to the general question of why God would ordain that a liar be temporally elevated, the general answer is simple. First ALL men, save one, are liars and worse. So once we accept that ALL men are sinners of the worst sort and are EQUALLY deserving of damnation, then temporal position and prestige ultimately means nothing because ALL men will EQUALLY prostate themselves is fear and shame before the majesty of the God Head. The best works of the best men are corrupt and soiled in God's eyes. That said, the glorification of God is man's purpose so if men who other men see as utterly corrupt and and evil can have their evil beget good, then it glorifies a God who works all things to HIS good purpose. Some examples would be as follows- Stalin and Hitler were two of the most depraved reprobate in the history of Creation. Yet their war against each other weakened Hitler enough that the Allies were able to utterly defeat the Nazis. The persecution of the early church led to its explosive expansion in the first 150 years. The utter evil repression of the communist Chinese would indicate that the church would be in decline in China but the church is actually growing fastest there. God's glory will not be thwarted. Christ said that if all men would stand silent concerning Him, that even the rocks themselves would would shout out in worshipful praise. So, in the end God ordain that even sin can work to His purpose and that He is sovereign over all.

@@j.chriswatson6847 Temporarily my ass, FULL STOP! That same liar and all of his descendants weren't temporarily anything in this story. They were PERMANENTLY EXALTED. To the tune of "oh....yeah these are gods, CHOSEN" people by birth and ethnicity. Forever. They got an entire sect of religion. An entire section of the planet. The right to go to heaven...just cause. And the right to say any other group of people that need to be in the presence of god be gatekept by them permanently. God said himself he is incapable of sin, yet here we are in this story and several old testament stories witnessing him sin outright! My guy...I don't know what deity is writing the words on those pages specifically. But I can assure you, that is not a perfect nor pure, nor omnipotent being. That same being, in all of its "perfection" did not keep to its word a SINGLE TIME! Everything that it said it was, and said it was incapable of doing, it did, MULTIPLE TIMES. Also not long before this story, attempted to wipe out all living things on the entire planet except for 1 family, yet....for some reason skipped all human beings outside of that area since the olmecs and other aboriginals didn't get touched at all. Again I dunno what deity is actually being worshipped in this story, but I can surely tell you, whatever being that is, looks more related to the devil than god. Could it mean the great deception? I mean...you got people all over this planet all throughout the history of that old testament and present day, doing unbelievable atrocities in the name of "god". And all of those same people believe their acts are justified because "god" said it was ok, YET NEVER JUMPS IN TO DO IT HIMSELF! Thats exactly the same energy the devil has in those stories. Always influencing people to do cracked things, but never putting his full hand in the cookie jar to do it himself.

One question I always had concerning this incident, is that the Bible says if someone is hungry to feed them, so the only reason I can think of why Jacob would ask Esau for his "birthright" in exchange for something to eat is that perhaps God was working through Jacob, but it couldn't have been a test to see whether or not Esau "would" sell his birthright, because God already knew that Esau would sell it. It doesn't make sense that if your brother asks you for something to eat, that you ask him for all that he has, when God's Word says to feed those that are hungry. Why would Jacob ask for something in return? If Esau was such a good hunter why was he asking Jacob for food to begin with? What would have happened if Jacob would have given his brother something to eat without asking for anything in return, I guess we'll never know. Also, Esau was considered lazy, but that doesn't add up, because it takes a lot of "work" to be a skilled "hunter", but Jacob liked to stay at home. These days it's the opposite that if you stay at home, they call you lazy.
@allismama

I think you are thinking into it to much. But but perhaps even though Esau was a hunter maybe Jacob prepared but if you remember in the first part of when he took his birth rights it said esau was out hunting and didn't find anything. This is a more complex variant on Adam and Eve. Its about how our mind evolves and how life evolves as a structure. Symbolism. We are born with a body from our parents and a soul from our spiritual parents. Twins. Everthing is in packages of two. Two represents conflict of thought. Spiritual and physical. Esua is the body with earthly thought. Jacob is higher thought. He stays at home and thinks a lot. He is often with the women who will represent Eve. Eve is cursed by the snake remember. Esau wants to eat earthly food. Its lazy because he should be thinking about spiritual food. Jacob wants his power to rule over him. Esau says what ever is easiest. Now that higher thought has the birth right it gets frightened and runs away. The idea tasted good but the after affect was sour to the stomach. Eve took on Gods knowledge but it frightened her and she hid from God and ruled Adam. Adam gets lost in his own thought and creates what we see today. The soul has to learn from experience and guide the bodies mind while connected to Gods thought. Jacob has not learnt enough yet so goes into the wilderness like Moses. He wrestles with his mind and gives up running. He stands before God and crosses the river to rejoin his brother. Body and soul united.

@frankdixon4112

It was not deception as people incorrectly teach. He sold his birthright and esteemed it as noting so God made him live up to the vow he made with his brother. God did not make him sell the birthright, he had free will, but he had to live up to his vow. God gives birthrights so if you despise your birthright, you despise the one who gave you the birthright. Should God love someone that hates him? Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. 11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. Genesis 25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I [am] at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? 33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised [his] birthright. Numbers 30:1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded. 2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. If you vow a vow to or before God, he will hold you to your vow. Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for [he hath] no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. According to the scripture, Esau made a fool out of himself. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not calling him a fool, I pointed it out in the scripture. Peace in the mighty name of Jesus.

These people with their emotions continue to contradict the clear word of God. Malachi 1:1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi. 2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Zechariah 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me. People either pretend or are ignorant to the fact that God gets full too. The three shepherds: Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah, the last three kings to rule in Jerusalem. God said they hated him and he hated them back, no sugar coating. II Chronicle 36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: 16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy. I Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Few are the Bible stories I despise but this certainly ranks as one of them. There are several points of contention with this tall tale. 1) Who can give away or sell their birthright to another for a bowl of food? The birthright wasn’t his to give. Only his father both the Most High and Issac could do such a thing. 2) Rebekah who name means to tie or ensnare by the fetlock used lies and trickery to deceive her husband. 3) This is another alternative version of Adam, Eve and their two sons Cain. Once again the eldest son displeases God in some manner which leads to a loss in birthright. To be supplanted by the younger which leads to a quarrel eventually leading to death. 4) In this version the Jacob which means to follow at the heel, assail insidiously, circumvent or overreach is rewarded for his treachery. For some reason he ends up with his fathers blessing. Nonsense, since when do those who use the ways of the wicked prosper in the end? In truth I don’t think either story is entirely about us. I believe this is the metaphorical representation of GODS Children, his first born/created ANGLES that chose to leave his grace through trickery. Those fallen angels have been supplanted by you and I as the second generation of Gods children the Adamites or humans. It is the reason for the constant enmity between the two Children of the Most High. The fallen hate us because they once had favor, they once lived in heaven; a place they can no longer be a part of. Whereas you and I, all of us have the opportunity through sacrifice of YESHUA to join his church in the high heavens. The Bible has many layers. It takes years to understand as it’s written in an ancient language and requires constant study. Even so this second son story is prevalent throughout scripture in Abel, Issac, Jacob and Ephraim to name a few.

Yishmael's the scapegoat. But he reconciled. Had Esau reconciled, the Kingdom would have been stronger. He would have been the military(therefore giving birth to the line of oppressive pharaohs) arm of the kingdom and Jacob the ruling. He deceived his dying father for blessings that should not have gone to him. Then also placed his concubines and and their children ahead to face what he thought would be Esau's wrath. Esau was lazy while his brother was a hard worker. Both brothers were innocent and guilty. The mom was the one to influence Jacob he obeyed her. He should have thought about his brother that was wrong but he obeyed his mother. Jacob did have to work hard for everything he had so the birthright was not completely free. He was the hard worker not his brother. In the end the brothers love won and Jacob shared what he had making things right. It shows good and love trump evil and hate. God gives but we need to always work as well. Both Eve and Esau traded their birthrights for food. Their flesh was more important than God's gift to them.

I guess I’d consider myself an atheist somewhat but leave people be if they want to worship god. Esau is a sad tale of being betrayed by his family and god for only existing as I see it, he was happy with his family and he listened and took care of them well as a breadwinner of the family. And after his own mother tricked Jacob into betraying his brother as a result not receiving the blessing that belonged to Esau from their father, of course he was upset and angry because of that…his own family betrayed him at least his brother Jacob and his mother did…the father also got betrayed by those two as well. And after all that…he brought an army of 400 and welcomed his brother with open arms, kisses, and even offered to protect Jacob along with his family and the animals from anything that would hurt them, Jacob was given a second chance to properly rekindle the bond within brother. Jacob was then the coward for not coming to Esau’s home as a respected guest even after he built shelter for his people and his animals, and god punished him…because I guess after getting betrayed by his family and by god for just being a normal person trying to be faithful and help keep his family alive, his reward is betrayal and loss of faith. And he along with Jacob are not responsible for the selfish and wrathful acts of their children. Unless the video here didn’t give all the proper details on this story Esau is a good person.

Although Esau was a fool who did not regard his spiritual direction and was foolish with his decernment both men had wickedness, and God shows us with these two men how important it is to take God's direction seriously in life and live by wisdom, and to not gain blessing by lies and deceitful intentions It does much damage to ourselves and to others and even if we receive by lies it does not do good but causes division and hatred. God gives us many lessons to learn from them both, from both men's wickedness and what integrity is to be learned from both men a story of hatred and loss deceitful gain and division and forgiveness of brother's. Much lessons for us all

What’s insane about this story is Esau’s brother was the one who was wronged! He done all he was told as a boy even tho his mother favored his lazy brother? His Brother lied an deceived their father for gods blessing, as well as took many wives. It makes it difficult to understand Gods wrath upon some and gives favor to others. Even when Jacob returned his brother had forgiven him. So please explain how this is how God expected things to turn out? Had both children been raised with equal love and equal blessings, equally being taught Gods ways. Would there have been the same turn out? What happened in the second half contradicts the first so it is confusing to me.

It’s definitely a puzzling story, but I see it as, esau was carefree and didn’t take God seriously, and swore to God that he would sell his birthright to Jacob. (It’s clear he didn’t take his birthright seriously since he traded it for a bowl of soup) Since Jacob now has the birthright of esau, he is technically the first son, and gets the blessing of Isaac. It’s messy, not everyone in the story understands what’s going on (in fact, it seems only Rebecca knows since she was told what must come to pass) God in his wisdom simply knew this would happen, and told their mother before their birth what would come to pass. Not to mention, the stories in the Bible all serve a purpose, and each character in the stories are there for a reason. Jacob became Israel after all, and Jesus came from this very lineage. The motif of the older firstborn or elect that is fit to do God’s will, and chooses not to, (therefore the younger, weaker, yet faithful offspring gets the inheritance and the favor) is echoed many times in the Bible. For example, when Jesus speaks of the wedding feast, how they invited all the esteemed guests, but not one of them showed up, so they brought in the poor and the sick and the homeless to enjoy the feast. To me, it feels like all the Bible stories in some way point to Jesus

Esau was the first born...usually the first born male who opens the womb is according to God meant to be blessed...that's just how it works...Esau had his inertance (birthright) set due to his birth order...an inheritance and a blessing comes from God...Esau chose to give it away or SELL it to his brother who saw its value...Esau didn't regard it highly...that about Esau displeased God...when God gives you a gift you're supposed to cherish and appreciate it...if you don't God can take your gift away and give it to someone that DOES appreciate it...that's what happened here in this case...Esau didn't think highly of God's gift...but Jacob, the second born did

Everybody misses this fact!!! The reason that Jacob get the inheritance blessing instead of Esau is because Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew. God had a great plan for Esau but because Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, now Jacob is the father of Israelites. God indeed was disappointed in Esau but if God really hated Esau then why would he be blessed. If God hates someone then they would be wiped from the face of the earth. Esau was blessed and still lived a wealthy life.

Theres holes all over this story. Why would god, who so vehemently goes against liars, let Rebecca, a blatant liar, coax her son into deceiving his own father in order to get his father inheritance? Also, why the hell would that same god then side with the same liar 3 times in a row after his brother forgave him and then condemn the only honest brothers descendants. Also this entire story falls apart, after the brothers descendants separate, where "God" or whoever this made up narrative at this point of the story is coming from, then goes to condemn Esau again, long after he's already dead, and his descendants and their armies are in control. So one of two things happened. Either someone decided to fudge these texts, and remove an entire section of interaction between the two brothers after they separated into their final homes proving an entire sect of religion as worshipping a false god and or a false house of god. Or "God" not only sides with liars, but rewards them and his word about hating a liar is absolutely false meaning none of you are worshipping god, but instead some form of spirit that uplifts deceitful entities, IE Satan. Either way, in this story, someone is being EXTREMELY deceptive.

I say this as someone who is unreligious, you must've failed highschool English to not have seen the theme going on here. It's about faith, true faith, faith that is blindly unshakeable. Esau gave away his birthright out of lack of faith, God does not like the faithless (take this as you may), thus he favored Jacob. Anything else is besides the point. And to be fair, this is not bad story writing--many make stories that are popular like this nowadays. You need to be able to find the theme line, everything else is irrelevant fluff.

I will never understand why god has everything the way it is. I prayed a lot, read majority of the Bible and spoke to countless pastors and the more I learn about the Bible and Jesus the more man made it sounds. Stories like god making a deal with the devil allowing him to kill job’s entire family just to prove a point, Noah’s ark, and even the story about Adam and Eve. It’s more than “it doesn’t make sense to me because I’m just human and can’t understand god” its just so unnecessary the way he established reality. Punish all of humanity even though he knew the devil would tempt eve into eating the apple?? God knows literally everything because he’s all knowing and all powerful, it’s so counterintuitive🤦🏽‍♂️ on top of that you can’t even question anything god says or does because apparently that’s a sin too. I want to believe in the Bible and have the comfort knowing theirs a for sure afterlife but I’ve prayed so many times and never got a “answer” from god. Most Christians I talk to assume I never read the Bible, didn’t believe god enough, or didn’t pray. It shouldn’t be so hard to communicate with god especially when he knows you need him in your life and desperately just want some conformation he exists other than a printed out book. I learned that most Christians also give up on people that ask a lot of dire questions that they simply cannot answer and get upset or think I’m gonna be dammed because I won’t blindly follow a religion that just doesn’t make sense to me. And it’s not even like I can’t just casually believe in other religions because if you don’t believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and savior then you’ll burn in hell which Is the definition of ruling thru fear. The Bible really gives off poor man’s religion vibes and even makes god seem like a petty tyrant. With just a thought he could stop all sin in the world and make everything all sunshine and rainbows but no he just had to flood the earth and now he’s gonna set the world on fire and then he’ll make humans live in eternal peace and happiness. All this pain and suffering for what? We seem more like helpless puppets than actual children to the lord. I desperately want god to be real but I don’t want to love him out of fear like most Christian’s, I want to love him off of not only knowing that he created me but also because he rewards good people and is a fair god. Hopefully someone reads this and give me a real answer or sum genuine non generic advice because alot of ppl feel the way I do not because we choose to not accept god into our lives but because we’ve been given no actual proof other than a book. (And yes if gods real then obviously it’s more than just a book but that’s just how people who haven’t had god communicate with them or who simply just don’t believe in god feel)

The true King, The quickest proof comes when you are attacked or just threatened by recognizing a demonic presence is in your home to attack you. Praising Go d or Je sus clears them and protects you by 20 seconds. It certainly makes me feel joyful to recognize a lifetime of protection. Also most of us have recognized some of the times our lives have been saved supernaturally, like accidents. In the first incident above my dogs were ferociously barking at something in the living room, previously they've only raised hackles and pointed at entities, I went in, it was invisible but could be felt a little, I started praising AHAIYA and ASIYA, getting so excited as I recognized how much I am protected and coddled, I felt full of love so praised for awhile. The dogs were curled up napping at 20 seconds. PS. The praise burns those things, use your power, AND if you don't know already say "I command by the blood of Jes us , your prayer". Write a short list and daily pray for a month, anything that would be God's will. Keep track what is answered. Relationships improved, people saved, your rebellion reversed, anything you want. Rebellion against reading scripture may take 2 or 3 months, for many of us, that is reversed by doing it anyway and the sat an gives up when it doesn't work.

I understand how you feel, however even in the Bible its mainly about faith. Abraham had to trust God in order to get his blessings. God wants us to believe, God doesn't want us to fear him like he's gonna do something terrible to us, the fear he wants is respect and love from us.. Where only humans we cannot even comprehend God or the spiritual realm, because we believe what we see and if we cannot see it, it's not real we always want proof of something to be real. I believe God gives us confirmation, but we truly have to believe he's gonna give it to you, yeah easier said than done. I know God exist because a few years ago he made the impossible, possible for my family, and I am believing he will do it again for us... But keep seeking God, keep asking him questions. Do you mediate? After you pray or ask questions try to listen for God to answer. He speaks. A few weeks ago I was downstairs cooking and I heard a small voice tell me Don't give up, it was right in my ear and no one else was around. I thought it was my fone but when I rewinded what I was watching it didn't say anything it was just music.. You will get your answers.

I admire your honesty and vulnerability. Those are two character traits that are far too rare today. I have been on a similar spiritual journey but I've come to find that you don't have to "believe" in God you can actually know "Him" and more importantly, that He KNOWS you. As an intellectual myself, I have wrestled with similar questions. But one thing that I always try to remember is that God has shown me miracles that I cannot deny. But the one advice I would give you is to ask for wisdom like Solomon had and do so with an honest heart. Now I will warn you that that is a very hefty gift and that qualifies for verse "to whom much is given much is required." But to try to narrow it down to more of the precise issue of the perception of a mean dictator versus a loving Father, I believe the answer is hidden in the character of Yahweh. It's a study that will take you months but it is worth the journey. It will also take solace. World is trying to distract you from anything spiritual to everything material. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. You seem like a very intelligent person, I would guess you're naturally complicated in terms of personality. I'm not saying that's a bad thing it could just mean you're highly gifted. But the one thing you don't want to do is downplay people of a very simple faith. Obedience is God's love language. But you can learn from them is how to approach the Father and what they could learn from you is how to think deeper and avoid deception. Think of it like this. We all have to connect the heart and the Brain but that is often the hardest journey to go on. The problem is by default, we all tend to think with one of those organs when in reality we have to learn how to use both simultaneously. Here's some quick ideas that may help in communicating with God. 1. Don't fall in the trap of religion. Understand where you are on the pendulum where on the extremes are the Sadducees and Pharisees, two groups of people Christ did not like. Life is a constant recalibration process to make sure we don't go to those extremes because the truth often is right in the middle. At the cross, if you will. 2. Unplug and go out in nature. God's vibration radiates there because what is natural is of God and life is abundant in nature. 3. Ask these hard questions to God with an honest heart and ask for wisdom. Here are two questions I wrestled with myself. 1. If a creator destroys his creation does that make him evil? 2. Is there a moral difference between God, the Creator, destroying someone or something versus His creation destroying each other? I ended up answering those questions "no" and "yes" in that order. I'll let the Holy Spirit leads you to how I came up with those answers that would be a whole another book to go into lol. 4. Fast with praying. Fasting especially. And when you pray be brutally honest and not like the Pharisees who use repetitive language. Speak to the Father as if He were already a loved one, trust me, no matter how deep the hurt or how angry you are He can handle it. 5. When Jesus said he wanted us all to be "one" with the Father, he's talking in a spiritual relationship kind of way. It's a renewing of your mind in a transformation of your heart. The church would call this being "born again" or "dying to one's self." Christ lived in perfect thought, action and will of The Father. He was able to do this through the gift of the Holy Spirit. Which is both characteristic of God, who is Spirit, and the gift He gives us at baptism that allows us to have a spiritual mindset versus being dominated by the carnal mind. 6. One thing we all have to do at some point is admit that we can't fully comprehend God simply because He is beyond time, space and matter or our world. But that is also a very beautiful thing because it provides a lifetime of intimacy through seeking the answers to the questions like you're asking. You are on the right path. It's like Jesus said, to enter the kingdom of heaven you must become like a child (notice he doesn't say be childish). Children naturally ask a lot of questions. But unlike our human parents, our Heavenly Father wants us to bring those questions to Him. But love language goes two ways and the Father has given you his upfront; obedience. But He doesn't expect you to "blindly believe" or to have "blind faith." He put His evidence in creation all around us and the moral truth (also known as natural law), His 10 commandments, are what sold me on Christianity when I realized that if the world all agreed to live by these standards it wouldn't be paradise but it would be close. But to "see" you need spiritual eyes that are opened with the help of the Holy Spirit. The hard part for all of us is to surrender the pride I'm not wanting to be the God of our own lives. I hope that helps. Those are just some quick thoughts God put on my heart to share with you. Thank you for being so honest it is a beautiful character trait I wish more people would adopt. God bless you on your spiritual journey!

The best way to decribe it is, We are all playing a role in The Most High's movie, we are the actors he's the Director, the reason you are so convoluted is because the Christian church lied to you on how God operates. They teach he's all love and Knows no evil, but the bible says he creates good and evil [ Isaiah 45:7: I form the light, and create darkness: 👉🏿I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.👈🏿]. The best thing to do is to forget what you were taught by the church, and read the bible for yourself. And remember "let God be true and every man a liar" -Romans 3:4. So if someone tells you God dosen't do this or that, and the bible says he dose, it's not the bible that's wrong its them.

This along with a few other biblical stories from the Old Testament have always been troubling to me. We can read into biblical stories and make applications of assumption into the text to paint individuals like Esau as being sinful, corrupt, or whatever else, and subsequently deserving of their punishments, but in actuality, the text doesn't actually explicitly say anything like that and these are just assumptions to justify the Will of God or the actions of his "chosen." Esau is just one example of these. I have accepted that my examining of these stories creates more doubt in my faith than anything else, so I try to minimize my exposure to them. But every once in awhile, I can't help but examine these stories. I feel a pull to do so, but I suffer doubts when I see such blatant corruption, deception, or instigation being justified by "the will of God" or his "chosen" ones.

It's a lesson to us believers, remember what happened to Job , Job wasn't a sinner , a man who feared God , yet all things were taken away from him, to the extent of his body being tormented , at the end Job says I know thou canst do all things.God asks him who has given me first that I should repay him , that alone that statement alone taught me to be humble and not question God .He is God and who has given him anything first , who ? Is it you ? Is it me ??? Nay, Noone has given to God, no one is Him.He is He.We should learn to worship him in all times , all seasons , no matter what befalls us we should learn to trust him. Abraham was God's friend but up until 90 he got his own child.Can we really understand God. ALL this was caused by Satan , it is him who should blame for he is the one who deceived humanity into sin and we all fell into fallen world. May your faith in God be increased and may you learn to say in your heart" Your will may be done "

I think It’s a lesson in Blind faith, Isaac was a dirtbag same as Esau but he had faith in God’s path so god rewarded him. Idk not religious but Old Testament is incredibly hypocritical, also says to feed your worst enemy if they’re hungry and yet Isaac made his brother give up everything for a bowl of soup. Some will say Esau shouldn’t have accepted it but the way the story is told he was literally starving so Isaac is an asshole no matter what way you slice it.
@drydizzle2954
@drydizzle2954 2 года назад
@@BobbyBoucher634 That's kind of how I see it. The context shows that he had gone on a hunt and he was on the brink of starvation when he got back. Jacob connivingly blackmailed/pressured Esau into giving up his birth right, but then to add insult to injury, stole a blessing intended for Esau (the more important of the two). This was not only a betrayal, but a violation of the natural law of blessings going from the Father to the eldest son. This makes Jacob not only an usurper, but a deceiver as well. This sounds like pretty despicable behavior to say the least and Jacob should not have been allowed to carry on as God's chosen people. This isn't even the only example of God's "chosen" doing such things. David sent Uriah to war in order to get him killed to get with his wife.. This is some pretty screwed up stuff.. I know we're supposed to be unworthy sinners and all that.. But how do these "Holy" men get a pass? God has struck down others in the bible for far less..

Yeah but that was many years later after Jacob had a wife and kids. That wound had years to heal, I don't think that proves Esau didn't have violent rage issues, just that he wasn't petty and held multi-year long grudges. But I guess the only way we'll ever truly know is to get there and ask Jacob and Esau ourselves! 🤷‍♂️ 😅🤣

I asked the holy spirit to guide my pathway while I study and I fine it helps.

@@lionblood1268 Read it again " I am about to die what good would my birth right be to me" obviously he was in dire distress and Jacob took advantage of the situation an opportunist as I've said. You can't sell a birth right only the the inheritance or goods he would have received from his farther ! Which Esau did receive. Jacob was a momma's boy it was she who lead him on and put him up to it. There would need to be a legal and binding agreement even for that and it would need Issac's approval. Isaac knows nothing of this ! If it was legally binding why the subterfuge ? The writers took liberty in playing Esau as a person undesirable/deserving of it. But note his reactions upon finding out he has been cheated of the BLESSINGS a father could bestow upon a son. Traditionally speaking they were more valuable than wealth. Note what Isaac says of the matter. Jacob did not need the birth right to be chosen of GOD that's man's low level of thinking and he and his mothers. ISAAC'S BLESSINGS CAN NOT OVERIDE WHAT GOD HAS ORDAINED ! No one has asked the question: did the devil have a hand in Esau being born first ? Remember they fought in the womb and Jacob had a hold of Esau's heel when he was birthed. There was animosity between the two from conception. Which leads me to believe Jacob should have been the first born ! Note their mother's reaction during pregnancy she may have been aware of this and rectified it thru means of her own. The problem we find ourselves in: we are caught in the middle of two warring factions GOD and the devil and they are rarely asking for our input. We are simply the pawns on the board. They are able to manipulate and influence us in ways we do not understand and for a purpose we are told for good at least in God's case.

I think God hated Easu because he was willing to give up and didn't value his birthright. A birthright carries weight spiritually and physically. Easu was willing to trade all that for a bowl of stew and that is a huge insult unto God. Jacob knew the significance of it that's why he got it( yes it wasn't in the right way),This is why Jacob had to wrestle with THE Angel of the Lord and for God to change his name from Jacob to Israel.and he did get punished for it. This spiritually transformation made him worthy to carry that birthright which lead his lineage all the way to Jesus. Easu was a nice person and favoured by his father physically, he didn't get the revelation and that was his shortcoming.
