Publis Scipio Africanus was a Roman military general who defeated the great Carthaginian military commander - Hannibal Barca. One of the greatest military commanders and strategists of all time, Publius Scipio defeated Hannibal in the Battle of Zama in 202 BC during the second Punic war, and ended the domination of Carthage once and for all. But Hannibal was arguably a better military general than Scipio, then how did he lose against him? In this video, I have explained, in Hindi, how Scipio Africanus used the Fabian strategy as well as hit and run tactics against Carthaginians' colonies and how he captured New Carthage (present-day Cartagena) to bring defeat to the Carthaginians.
