I managed to miss the exhibition - too much going on, so this is a good round-up. Looks like I missed a treat. Lovely layouts, all with a very high level of scenic quality. And some of the small details are absolutely outstanding. I know that there are a lot more products out there these days and there is access to 3D printing etc, but the level of detail is going up and up on many layouts. Hats off to the modellers who produce these gems. Oh, and from the evidence here, all the layouts seemed to have trains that actually ran frequently without serious faults. Something that not even all the layouts at Warley managed.
It was a busy but very enjoyable exhibition. The tiny attention to detail put my efforts to shame, but give me & hopefully others ideas on how to make improvements. It's fair to say that they generally ran ok with only minor glitches.
