Ahmed Best deserves nothing but good things. So glad he got to do this. And Bo-Katan coming into her own with the other Mandalorians was awesome. What a great episode

The Armorer isn’t being dismissive she’s basically acknowledging that now that Bo is starting to believe in the old ways, she’s going to see things that she otherwise wouldn’t notice because her mind is more open to the ways of life that her ancestors lived. When Bo says ‘But it was real!’ And The Armorer replies ‘This is the way.’ That’s her saying ‘Of course you saw it. It’s always been there, you just now are at a point in your life where you needed to see it.’

Jedi master Kelleran Beq is from the "Jedi Temple Challenge" kids game show. To bring him into canon and save Grogu is sooo appropriate. After all the shit Ahamed has been through over Jar Jar, I am so happy for him let's gooooo! 😂😂😂 Ahamed Best was THE BEST in this epiosde.

After 20 years, I'm glad that most of the Fandom has had a chance to reflect on how badly Ahmed Best was treated and to come around and embrace him in this new role. Feels so appropriate for this show considering it is all about redemption. Really great episode!

I like the call back to the first season how Din would have flashbacks when the armorer is making his armor the something happens to Grogu

Jar Jar saving Grogu is something I never knew I needed. What an incredible episode.

Only Dave Filoni could come up with this awesome episode! Din and Bo the soccer parents, Grogu getting more armor, Ahmed Best as Keilleran Beq, Bo telling the Armoror about the Mythosaur. So much in a short episode!

There was also an interview where Bo’s actress said her not telling anyone wasn’t meant to be vindictive. She’s just trying to decide if she believes what she saw or not. Also I’d love to see Ragnar and Grogu become friends. Pasz having a son adoptive or biological explains a lot about s1 particularly the rescue in ep3. He knew what Din was going through. Honestly I’m surprised he kept it together as long as he did.

I didn’t register that it was Ahmed at first. I was like “where do I know him from?!” Then during the credits it hit me like a truck. Redemption for Hayden and now Ahmed. I love it!

Tinfoil Hat Theory: Numerous examples of Grogu having an aptitude with beasts… e.g. the crabs in this episode being drawn to him! Is he destined to tame the Mythosaur?!

I like to think that Bo has finally found the family she hasn't had in a long time.

With Grogu who seems to have considerable ability to bond/speak with/control animals, he might be able to assist with the 3 chicks.

Makes me happy to see Ahmed Best absolutely killing it with those two sabers and being the one to save Grogu

Regarding the Armorer's helmet spikes, it's very possible it actually has to do with Darth Maul himself. Death Watch was actually led by Maul for a brief period, and those that were loyal to him formed the "Shadow Collective" (also under his leadership). The Super Commandos from the Shadow Collective had spiked helmets (though a greatly exaggerated version of the Armorer's helmet), so it's possible the Armorer actually served directly under Maul in the Shadow Collective.

Armourer never tells anyone what to do. She educates and gives informations, but everyone chooses his/hers path. She leaves Bo to choose what she will do.

BEST cameo ever.

If you remember back to season 1, Din had the same flashbacks to parallel childhood trauma, each time he had Beskar armour being forged. From what the Armourer hints at, this is an essential part of becoming Mandalorian: Facing your weaknesses, which I gather to mean healing trauma and overcoming inner turmoil.

Mandalorians are known for riding “war beasts” perhaps that’s why they saved the baby tree hawks

Steven you just blew my mind up with the Armorer's helmet being Dathomirian. Holy shit, I wonder if she worked under Maul.

Also, I suspect the Armorer has secret feelings for Grogu, and is taking him under her wing when is Ward is not around, or is otherwise occupied.

So happy that Ahmed Best is doing better and more willing to come back to Star Wars as himself to save Grogu! It's a shame he battled with depression over these years, but I'm excited for him!

Telling Grogu he's too young to go on a mission, really? I'm just imagining him saying, "Oh, well then, I guess I just go play with my pet rancor."

Maul's species is called Zabrak. Doubt it's a sign the Armorer is one herself, but if she was a part of Death Watch when it was under Maul's rule then her helmet spikes may have been originally made in honor of him.

Bo-Katan has learned in a quick while that all that "mumbojumbo" of the past "legend" wasn't just Legend. I don't think she has a direct plan, but is going to go along and dive into the legends more... Not like she was super busy sitting on that throne of hers doing really important stuff. And I don't think the different factions are all that splintered that they couldn't come together to reclaim Mandalore.

I think the Armorer's unimpressed reaction to the Mythasaur wasn't out of disbelief. I think it was because she had been expecting this news for some time. One more check off in the prophesy checklist.

That Grogu flashback was disturbing. Damn. "Look at the size of that guy's gun" Classic. Last line blowing off Bo tells me that the Armorer knows that the Mythosaur is real. She seems to know stuff others just don't understand. Chef Shaman.

Ahmed Best ftw! The Jedi he played is named Kelleran Beq.

Like the Methasure and others from the time of the ancient Mandarins to the Mandalorian wars, those 3 raptor chicks are to be trained as the new generation of Mandolorian war beasts. And I just realized that the kid had got snatched dy the Raptor his name Ragnar. It's an Easter egg for Katie Sekov's old show, the 2009 Battlestar Galactica reboot.

If you watch that part in slow motion, where Mando hits the beast's wrist and frees Ragnar, then grabs Ragnar's hand but loses grip as their momentums split, it's one of the most technically-impressive sequences I've ever seen... Truly outstanding work. I can't even begin to imagine how they managed that.

So the fan theory that Jar Jar saved Grogu was actually true (from a certain point of view) getting Ahmed Best as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq saving Grogu was awesome! And seeing Grogu doing literally ANYTHING from training to walking is so cute that my heart almost bursts. Also the whole rescue of Ragnar Visla looked and felt like it was right out of the movies. And after seeing the Armorer forge armor for both Grogu and Bo-Katan I have a sudden urge to forge my own set of Mandalorian armor. Carl Weathers made one of the best episodes of the series with The Foundling. I just wish that this episode was longer, these episodes are becoming far to short.

10:01 Maul is a Dathomirian Zabrak. The Armorer's helmet means she was one of his followers when he did spoiler shit on Mandalore. Rumor has it she's Rook Kast but since Bo-Katan doesn't seem to know her and hasn't tried blasting her head off I kinda doubt it hahaha

What an incredible journey for Ahmed Best! I didn't like Jar-Jar at all and found him annoying; it was only years later I found out how much it affected the actor and looked at Jar-Jar very differently, yes what George Lucas did.... that's what he envisioned and the rest as you know was history. Fast forwarding years later and Ahmed Best came back with a reckoning in a great cameo. I'm glad Ahmed Best alongside Hayden Christensen is being looked at by Star Wars fans in a new light and wish them both happiness and the best for them

I think the Armorer knows more than she lets on.

Females of Maul's species are the Nightsisters. Asajj Ventress. A rumor I heard is that the Armorer is Bo-Katan's other sister. I don't hink Bo-katan has a plan. Her clan gave up on her when she didn't win the dark saber. I think she's lost. But seeing the mythosaur, being welcomed so quickly by the Watch, even leading the rescue party, she's starting to think the "old ways" really might be better.

I have a feeling we're actually going to see Jar Jar. That was a Naboo ship, from the royal house if I'm correct. And an underwater city is an excellent place to hide Grogu.

Kelleran was played by Ahmed Best and was the host the TV show Jedi Temple run and was for kids mostly. It was fantastic that Lucasfilm\Disney has stuck by him giving him more opportunities in the SW universe. Of course this also keeps the possibility of Darth Jar Jar alive.

Maul's species is known as Zabarak; and the horns on the Armorer's helmet could be an accommodation for horns since Mandalorians will accept any species willing to follow their ways and adopt them as Mandalorian foundlings. That, or it's a sign that either she or whomever she inherited her armor from was a member of the Mandalorians when Maul led them.

As soon as I heard the name Ragnar in the episode, I immediately thought of Steve saying “RAGNAR LOTHBROK!!!” Whilst raising his fists in the air😂

I feel the same as Steven in seeing any moment from Order 66. It breaks my heart. It happened so fast in the prequels that to finally see what's happening elsewhere and now with Grogu... chills. And Bo continues to be badass and Din, proud dad...amazing episode.

I think the Armorer knows a lot about Mondos' past, lore, & prophecies. Also, she's a true believer, so when she here's that BO KATAN actually SAW a Mythasour, I think the Armourer's mind was not thinking, " She's full of poo-do," But I believe her, & the fact that BO, a living llegend, AND, a living lesson of how going against the creed can bring a curse down on all Mandos. Perhaps the Armorer sees a possibility of bringing all Mandalorian clans back into the fold... And knowing what could happen, like repeating the past, & what could happen if another path were taken... I'm pretty sure the Armorer is going to keep her knowledge and possibilities to her self... At least until the information is important, & to whom. I DO THINK THE ARMORER BELIEVES BO, BUT WITH JIN HOLDING THE DARKSABER, & GROGU , BEING A JEDI, AND A MANDO...I'm guessing she's already had ideas about Jin, & Grogu. They may be the future of the Mandalorian! Though BO seems like she is starting to believe about the creed, I think she's leaning towards aligning with this culvert... However, I believe BO is not going to be able to. It's gonna be interesting to watch BO, maybe buying the lore, & future... And the Armorer is going to be watching like a hawk, looking for a hint of betrayal. BUT WE ALL KNOW WHO THE KING IS GOING TO END UP BEING.... JIN ,and/or Grogu!!! I can't wait to see all the paintings & carvings on the walls, from a 1000 years ago, & there's Grogu, eating frogs! Lol...

Kelleren Beck (excuse the spelling) is a great character to have at this point in the story. Apart from how amazing it was to see Ahmed Best get this great moment in the spotlight, his character is not unknown. There's a kid show called Jedi Temple Challenge where he would be the host (in character) and kids would complete in teams to become padawans of sort. So basically he was training the new hopes of the Jedi Order, which I'm sure the kids would have loved being a part of. Check the show out - I know I would have wanted to be in it if I was their age :)

Bo finding her place in a clan. Not as a leader but as a servant. Her deeds are proving who she can be without the constant craving for leadership.

The foundlings fighting was definitely a nod to Karate Kid! So good!!

While I'm not sure if I ship Din and Bo-Katan, I am loving her playing the encouraging mom to Din's proud papa. Plus we have Auntie Armorer! Bo may not have been a fan of The Way, but I think spending time with this group is helping her get her groove back. She lost all confidence in herself, but she's seeing that they see her as a leader. Maybe she can them to relocate. That planet reminds me of Skull Island with all the dangerous creatures running around!

For the most part Bo is played as being very stiff and rigid from her "royal" upbringing.. it was nice to see the bits of Katee push through the faceless armor. The "He doesn't know how to fire the darts ?" scene was a very Katee manerism in the head twist.. loved it.

The Armoror did say when the flash back started that the forgre show your weakness, he has not gotten pass Order 66 and its holding him back.

This planet seems ideal for the mandalorins. As not many we’ll venture there. It’s also a great hiding place. I love how proud, din is off grogu. It feels like din has always wanted to be a father. And loves that he chose him.

Ahmed Best character is Jedi master Kelleran Beq he is from the "Jedi Temple Challenge" kids game show. He was the Jedi Master who supervised Padawans as they went through their Jedi Trials, so it makes sense that he would be the one watching and protecting Grogu

I never actually considered that the Armorer could be a Zabrak because of her horned helmet, but now that you mentioned it, I am BEGGING them to make that happen. That would be so insanely cool, seeing more Zabraks in live action.

You asked about the theory about the Armer, there’s been a lot of speculation about this on this side of the pond (UK). That as she’s a loyalist and because of the horns on her helmet and the red colour of her chest plate it could be Rook Kast, from Darth Mauls Mandalorian Shadow Collective Super commandos. ( and yes it was brilliant to see Ahmad Best again as I feel people where quick to dismisses him in the prequel trilogy.

The ship belonged to a Naboo senator. At that time it was Jar Jar Binks. So it is quite possible that Kelleran hid Grogu with Jar Jar on Naboo :)

Saw a thing on Tumblr that the Armoror didn't really blow her off, but since she hasn't seen it herself she won't say "nope, you're wrong". Kind of a callback to what was said about Grogu fighting, speaking only what you know. The current known fact is that Mythosaurs are extinct, but they also thought Mandalore was cursed. Since they now know otherwise, Bo saying she saw a living Mythosaur isn't as far-fetched as it seems. Was an interesting theory. Din forgetting his child is a literal toddler is hilarious.

i think that bo has always mocked the creed worshipping mandos, but after experiencing it she has realised that the creed is more than old outdated ways, but a way of honour and respect, she has started to understand it

I'm very glad Ahmed Best returned to Star Wars. I always felt sorry for what he went though. I never liked Jar Jar much (although the character was less of a problem than how George used him to destroy tension in important scenes like the 3rd act of Episode 1), but I never put that on the actor. In the making ofs I was always impressed by his dedication to the character, which can't have been easy, running around with that silly cartoon mask on his head during shooting, but he did an amazing job. However the media should also apologize to the guy at some point. He did indeed get some death threats from some fans, but he also said often enough that it was the intense media backlash that almost drove him to suicide, so this wasn't just on the fans. The media did their own part in almost destroying his career. I hope the friends of his that will take Grogu and hide him away are the Gungans. I think the underwater city would be a great place to hide, and I think Filoni always did a better job at portraying the Gungans than George had done. Put in the proper light, I actually like that alien species in Star Wars, and it'd be great to see the underwater city again. I hope we see more of Ahmed Best as this bad-ass Jedi, and maybe he gets another chance to play Jar Jar. If he can redeem Jar Jar by making it him that helped to hide Grogu, that would be great :)

I'm reasonably certain that the armor is Ursa Wren from Rebels. The way she speaks is very similar. I wouldn't be surprised if we see her square off against Bo Katan this season.

Theorycraft says the Armorer spikes on her helm are because she was a Death watch loyalist. Also leans into the children of the "watch". Death watch was loyal to the dark saber and Maul wielded it for a time.

According to fans Kelleran was training at the temple when this happened, if he was around it makes sense he was the one saving Grogu, i'm glad to be honest because if it was Mace Windu coming in would be kinda ridiculous.

The way I read it, Grogu watched many jedi, some friends, some trainers, all of them using their light-sabers against the, 'darkness', as Grugo reminds it. All those jedi, all using those light-sabers, and ALL OF THEM ARE DEAD!... A long, long, time later, Grogu finds a person that can protect, & love. And his new friend's 'way of life' is about defense, & armor to STAY ALIVE, but if need be, fighting is ok, just win. And he does! When Grogu is given a choice between a Light-saber, like the people that fought & died... Or a chain-mail shirt, made of bescar, the stuff his new friend uses? AND WINS@ Not even a second thought...Grogu is sticking with the honorable, defense-thinking, but badass in need to, & people with a 'WAY' of going through life. & I believe Grogu, has said it...THIS is the way!

I don't think the Armorer is blowing off Bo at all. If an honored member of her enclave claims she saw a mythical beast in one of the most mystical places on Mandalore, then it's not her place to question. She's a warrior of true faith, an absolute zealot who walks the path with no second thoughts. I think she is simply accepting that something miraculous happened to Bo-Katan.
