Fun fact: this was also the first ever game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football too!

Amazing how Peyton managed to make one drive eat up half of the first quarter. He was truly the master of making adjustments at the line of scrimmage.

1999-Ravens vs. Rams, and 2006-Colts vs. Giants. Both were season openers, and both were between the next two Super Bowl champs.

Even though Peyton won this matchup of siblings, Eli played really well when all is said and done

Always love seeing Madden calling a game even past his prime Madden is better than most analysts today. Of course, the Manning Bowl had so much hype back in the day to the point that it turned me off but in retrospect it's great to see this.

I honestly forgot John Madden called Sunday Night Football for some time. Also since this game isn't shot in HD it should be the 4x3 picture. A stretched picture kinda sucks.

I watched every NYG game 2000s; had such high hopes from Eli 1st overall and Eli pissed me off. Its a run first scheme unlike his brother's and he STILL was way below avg. Good to great defense, still sucked 05-06-07, 07 reg season was BAD. Suddenly week 17 2007 scoring 35 in a shootout with 15-0 Patriots changed everything. Not a HOF but suddenly at the end of 2007, the plays on whiteboard mattered, the coverage is being read correctly
