The Many Cut Cars of NASCAR Thunder 2004 

I like how there was absolutely no reason to remove Tony Raines at all and they just did.

I find it funny how both announcers pronounce drivers and sponsors differently like how one of them pronounces Kahne's last name "Kahane"

1. To me it seems they had plans for the entire 2003 Busch Series as a selectable championship, but scrapped it and waited for the next year (Chase for the Cup). 2. The #'d 100 fantasy drivers are just EA Tiburon employees. It's likely the cut drivers are simply people who left the company during development.

It sucks that due to Jasper working with Papyrus, Dave Blaney was left out of this game. As a huge Blaney fan it was such a bummer.

The Raines one is especially odd because you can see his car with blurred numbers in some of tutorial videos

With that many Busch cars cut it seems like they would have had enough to have the Busch Series as an entirely separate series in the game, which sucks because that would have been really awesome with the Thunder career modes.

as a Kahne fan knowing that his car was almost fully complete and it got cut made me sad

Didn't know someone finally cracked the code on how to mod NASCAR Thunder 2004. For as long as I knew, it was downright impossible to get it passed the start screen.

I always found it weird why Spencer and the 7, and The Onion and the 54 werent included, but for some reason, Todds stats were given to Hermie Sadler, and Tony Raines gettiing bumped was weird too. There was also the 37 of Derrike Cope, who attempted most of the 03 schedule that could've/should've been in it

I used to get so pissed about this stuff a lot as a kid and this video proves exactly why! Great stuff GrandPrix! Some of these drivers in particular I still wish made the final cut even to this day.

Man I really wish they would have keept the Busch cars. Another series on 04 would have been awesome in the Career mode.

I was looking into modding NT2004 so I could swap paints and stats in career mode to keep the roster 'current' as you played through the game. I am having some trouble changing paints in the game itself as the textures seem to swap randomly and I was wondering if you had any insight as you seem to have messed with these files plenty.
