Thanks for this, I understand better now. I was seeing/hearing "que" everywhere and it was driving me nuts because I could tell it meant different things in different contexts but I couldn't figure it out.

Cabe mencionar que también el "que" se puede emplear al inicio de una frase para expresar sorpresa o felicidad. Ejemplo" : ¿Que te vas a Argentina!!? Y también para ligar frases. Ejemplo: Ella no quiere ir. Que ya es muy tarde. (Manera coloquial de decir "es que ya es muy tarde" o "porque ya es muy tarde" También se puede hacer la cláusula subjuntiva antes de la cláusula principal si es un tema de que ya hablamos. Ejemplo: "no quiero ir. (Que) estoy enfermo" "Que estés enfermo no me importa. Vas a ir"

Can you explain the differences between tú, te, and tí?

This is so confusing! For example the bit where you said “Él tiene que limpiar si cuarto” why can’t you just say “Él tiene a limpiar su cuarto.” ???

Great video Rickie. I recently learned about the use of , " como que" to mean "like or as if" . If you could touch on it in a future video it would be amazing I always thought using "como" and "que" together meant something else but I guess it can mean lots of other things in a sentence depending on if an accent is used or not and where. Partially telling you the truth... Sir, if teachers told students all the meanings of all words that we cover, students would give up!!! Everything cannot be taught or covered at the same time. It doesn't work that way for too many people (students). They can't grasp too many concepts at the same time.

I think conjugations are the last boss is the Spanish language. When people say "Yo habla una poquito de español" you will stick out SO MUCH.

You articulate yourself well explaining things. One question I have is when you say “más” sometimes it sounds like you say “má” and sometimes like you say “más”. Is that on purpose, and does that change the meaning at all?

I was confused for a moment by the sentence "El es mas alto que yo" and why it wasn't que me instead but remembering back to my ancient english classes we American english speakers say it wrong when we say "he is taller than me." Grammatically, it should be taller than I also. Just thought I'd add this if it helps someone.
