Well, it's hilarious how jokes and ruining people's careers are great when it's in her favor, but terrible when it's against her. Truly baffling.

Pokimane is the embodiment of a perfect example of "pretty privilege", coupled with a big helping of "waa waaa give me special treatment", and a dash of being able to dish it out but not being able to take it. Not to mention, her reaction to any situation is always the WORST way to handle them.

This is exactly why I believe that celebrities and internet influencers are overrated. People aren't taught to think for themselves anymore, and allow internet people to tell them what and how to think. In all honesty whenever she was in content with other streamers like when she was with offlineTV it always felt like she was trying to steal the spotlight and shut them down for her own glory. Like, i remember there was their first chrismas unboxing video with micheal reeves and she kept making comments about how she got so much more stuff than everyone else and it really just kinda felt really weird expecially since the focus was supposed to be more on micheal since he was the newest member and had only been in the house for a month or two at that point and they wanted to make him feel welcomed. She honestly just kinda sucked the emotion out of most videos and streams she was on in Offlinetv and now that shes gone they seem to be having a lot more fun without her

The best way to describe Pokimane is being "two faced" she has a internet persona that everybody knows but I know that when she turns off her stream she is a different person.

I just don't understand what could have led Poki to the decision of making her internet persona a "wholesome" character when she's very clearly not a wholesome person. When she was just uploading a video here or there, she could maintain that persona; but when she streams for hours on end and doesn't have time to filter her thoughts when reading chat? Such a disgusting overreach of power and influence over something that frankly, would have all just been washed away if she actually owned up to being in the wrong.

I’ve never seen a Pokimaine stream but anytime I see clips either for her or against her, she gives me the weirdest vibe. Like we know streamers have an online personality and can be kinda fake For user entertainment. But she is in a whole other level. I once told a drunk fella in someones chat that "dude, youve donated over $1000 so far!" and it shocked him, and she whispered me after the stream to tell me that it was tacky of me to point it out. Tacky? Makes it harder for you to exploit drunk depressed people, you mean? The whole platform's premise is poisonous as fuck. You're not allowed to talk about simping because it discourages people from throwing their money away to people who don't give an actual fuck about them.

For me, I realized what a narcissist she was, when i was watching some of the old "Among us" streams of another creator, with whom she played regularly. Multiple times over several streams, she kept bringing up how it would be a 'great idea" to vote this person out, to make the game more interesting, because this person had a good track record of both being a good detective AND a good imposter. This happened often enough that this person actualyl got fed up and just walked off stream the next time she brought up her "great idea" and didn't come back until the next round was in progress. To their credit, they did claim they had no beef with Poki over this behavior, but that just made them the better person. Poki was being a bitch repeatedly to this person, and everyone just went along with it.

Honestly she didn't change from her very first controversy and she has managed to get away with so much. Even hearing the clip of her conversation with fainted reeks of her making excuses and shifting the blame to others instead of outright owning up to her faults, she just can't stop playing victim. She has been caught multiple times of her hypocrisy whether it be her copyright striking others while she herself stole others content or her saying how she'd never sell something not worth it to her audience and stating how she doesn't need money to then go and deceive her fans to buy overpriced white label cookies. Which also ties into her drama against XQC prior to the cookie drama and gave us the clear hypocrisy with the cookies but even more, she belittled those that decided to go to Kick because it's owned by Steak however Twitch is no better. Twitch is owned by Amazon and on top of that still had gambling on its platform along with sexual content for a far longer time and has impacted the youth massively in a negative way yet she's pretending as if Twitch was the morally right. I personally don't care as much about the Kick vs Twitch morality aspect but more so I again care about how she's a complete hypocrite and her morality is as fake as her online personality. Since money was also a talking point in the Poki vs XQC drama it then leads more into the reason for the hate against the cookies. The main problem wasn't her cookies, it has always been the same thing. It's always been her blatant hypocrisy and fake nice girl personality that always allows her to play woman victim.

I don't like what she did 80% of what was said here and think she is wrong but the other 20% is actually logical and I can see her point of view. All in all I don't think its even right to make fun of others. All of them did so they're all wrong. Secondly, it's actually bad to call people sensitive when its actually an insulting joke. People have the right to get upset. Don't treat feelings like they aren't important. That is really just being disrespectful. Respect is understanding that people can get upset. Don't look down on others just because they feel more. Or have 'thin skin'. ALSO, twitch has big issue with favortism towards female streamers, they can literally abuse animals on stream and get away with it... the only thing that female streamers face is nasty chat but those get deleted and banned too....

I am 50/50 about this video. It just goes to show that Pokimane is not allowed to stick up for herself, despite many of these creators and people provoking, making fun of, harassing her first. None of this drama was directly created by Poki. Perhaps in a few of the instances, she could have handled it better. But if a streamer asks their fanbase to harass someone, then gets backlash - how the hell are you going to pin that on the person who is being harassed? Unfortunately I think a LOT of this is rooted in misogyny and I think there's genuinely many people out there that wish her ill intent just because she's a successful woman in the industry. Many of the people who harassed her first were wrong for doing so and were wrong in the way they handled themselves, which you did not address. I'm not a poki fan by any means and have never watched her streams, but she's one of the most harassed content creators in my opinion, a load of this drama isn't even half bad as what other cc'd get up to.

She seems, to me personally, to be controlling and openly manipulative. However, I think she's well within her rights to yell at a sponsor on a attack video aimed at her. And in the clip you seem to want to hang her with is her telling that sponsor that she will not work with them in the future. I think that is absolutely a fair reaction for her to have. I wonder what makes you think it isn't? You even say "Complaining about another creator making an [attack] video about you is one thing, but attacking their sponsorships for it is a completely different story." No. It really isn't. The sponsor signed up to sponsor an attack video on another creator. Even if they didn't know that they sponsored this video, that's still on them. Her getting mad at them for sponsoring a hit piece on her is perfectly justified. And her making fun of that also falls in line. The sponsor is not immune from critique because the attacking party makes their living from them. If fact, in the normal; not-the-crazy-world-in-your-mind, world a sponsor is held liable for the content that was SPONSORED. Maybe you don't know the meaning of the word? They paid the creator to create this video that attacks her in some way and she voices her displeasure in that sponsorship. Why is that not fair? Even if the video wasn't openly attacking another person, which it was, the subject STILL has the right to feel attacked and make any defense they wish. Is this not accurate? And how is her telling off this sponsor and saying she won't work with them in any way harsh? She could have sued them in court in my state and she probably would have, if not settled, straight out won, as--and I cannot stress this enough but still feel the need to--they knowingly nor not sponsored an attack video. How you think this makes her bad and him her victim is well beyond me as again, he made a sponsored attack video against her. And I cannot tell you how pissed off I am that I have to defend her. I was so happy when she started actively stepping back from OfflineTV content! Still you're attack on her for this was just stupid. She was well within her rights.

Pokimane has one of the largest fanbases on twitch and doesn't hesitate to 'weaponize' them behind a facade of acting like she is the victim and that SHE isn't the actively seeking these internet fights. Her skin is SO thin and it's pretty funny how tons of people still think she is some kind of righteous/innocent streamer. She will stand on the smallest of moral highgrounds and act like she is out in the trenches fighting in some kind of biblical moral war.
