xuekunkou I played this song on the 7 as well for the culmination of our 8th graders that sadly left, most of our band students were 8th graders, I'm now an 8th grader this year

Many arrangers frustrate me. They take something popular like Mario and just screw with it to the point where it just sucks, or over-simplify a piece to the point it's not challenging at all. For example with this piece they picked ~4 different songs and 'mashed' them together (It's not mashed...) I can get frustrated if the selections don't make any sense. Like why the throne room? Would anyone know what the "Olympic Spirit" is. While all good songs, sometimes arrangers pair the wrong pieces together and to me it makes it seem less impressive. Or as a musician when I pick up a score and "Oh this has starwars in it!" but not the starwars pieces I want to play. (Although, they're only choosing marches for this arrangement, so I guess it's fair.)

Tacocat it depends really on what level band you are in. Most middle schools intermediate to advanced bands would play this.
