Waid is one of those writers that keeps the silver age alive with his storytelling. But can still do unique stories that can take characters in different directions. I consider kingdom come his flash and his FF runs as well as both his irredeemable and incorruptible series his magnum.opusus. plus his DD and cap runs from both the 90s pre heroes reborn post Grunewald and his cap run with samne on are are excellent as well. I want him to do a proper superman run so bad.
I'm just about to read Tower of Babel for the first time. Waid's DC stuff has been simply genius so far. The first issue of Batman vs Robin blew me away!
