Just a heads up TEC the falkor 90 will be better than the Phoenix for us hard lockers because it has the hawk middle engine allowing it to accelerate ridiculously fast
Not really, rockets is bad at top tier, Mavericks IR or TV guidance and space bombing is the way to go, so this is kinda bad at CAS, no offense, im kinda hoping too that it would be good at CAS, turns out that the premium A10 is much better
Not only it will accelerate as Flash just in 5 sec, it will MAINTAIN that speed for 21s because of sustainer. Techincaly it will have speed more than AIM-54 after 30s fly right after launch in literally 6 sec
@@BKening Yes, IMO, it willl be way better than AIM-54 at being a Fox 3, but probably will preffer AIM-54 for tossing them. Sedjil may be fun to use at very close ranges, but will probably be way worse than R-27R at that.
@@kaidestructor7350 Close range is crazy with only 15gs, good luck hitting anyone playing attention when your missile accelerates so fast that it can barely turning without hitting it's max gee, the faster you're moving the quicker you reach over gee while turning
@@JamalWitherSpoon Yes and no. Yes, it's a truck, it won't hit anything that knows how to dodge. The thing is that it has like a 50kg warhead. It does not have to get that close to ruin your day, spetially at high altitude. It may work, I've done it with AIM-54, but lacked the acceleration in most situations.
Fakour 90 and Sedjil have less top speed, not by much. But they have a powerful booster and sustainer, so they accelerate and maintain their top speed. According to the hidden stats.
Being a rank 8 it should also get some sort or stock radar missile in accordance with the stock load out changes that just happened with all rank 8 vehicles
Fakour-90 are better than Phoenix. They have a gigantic booster over 90k N which compensates for the maximum acceleration. Sedjil has the same giant booster.
@@reinni2968 I have already seen a comparison with the AIM-120B and over a distance of 50 km, the Fakour-90 rocket reached the target by 15-20 seconds faster. This rocket simply reaches its maximum speed faster and therefore hits the target faster than other rockets.

@@reinni2968 All false, the Fakour has no issue hitting 40km away targets at *sea level* . People have been testing it already, it retains its energy extremely well, way better than the phoenix (being much heavier actually helps). Exemple of test done comparing *terminal velocity* : 60km @9k meters. Fakour-90: M2.82, Aim-54C: M2.04, Aim-120B: M1.88. Currently it is the best (long range)BVR missile hands down. It's not very maneuverable but it will surprise people on how fast it is on you, just like the R-27ER. Comparing stat cards alone for these top tier weapons only shows half of the picture.
@@reinni2968 Bro wtf are you saying... Mass has 0 effect on drag...drag is air resistance, it depends on the speed and shape (surface area) of the object. Heavier object are less affected by drag. That is basic physics. The fakour-90 has the exact same shape(Surface area) of the aim54 but 200kg heavier. Inertia makes heavy object harder to move OR stop. Literally do a 2sec google search with (inertia + mass + velocity). All the tests I've talked about are on the WT forum, easy to find.
@@ulfhedtyrsson drop bombs on bases, or get rockets and fire them at bases. CAS is king when it comes to point scoring. If you’re playing AB get bombs to destroy the ground stuff in the capture the airfield maps. If you can get at least 10-15 ground kills you get around 1100-1500 points.

@@a_catfish5180 this doesn't even matter here. Done the file verification already, updated drivers, and all that stuff. It happens also in GRB, but only if I go into plane and crash. This has been an issue for 3 years and you can see it on official forums. It was fine 6 months ago, so don't even know what happened. It can be on Nvidia/AMD or most probably something Gaijin does :). What I predict tho is that I have multiple controllers connected to PC and WT doesn't like that (might try it layer). Something akin to Elden Ring.
I am having the same issue, I can't play the game AT ALL. Happened after one of the recent updates. Says it is a driver issue but I have updated my drivers. (running an rtx 3060 if that rings a bell)
Gaijin SHOULD give this things fox 3 stock, at least two, if they keep their promise (very rare) of giving all stock vehicles at least two fox3 if they have it, as the tech tree f14A does
Great addition as its an indirect buff to the f4f ICE, all of the f14 kids who will buy it will flood the 12.3 matchmaker and allow for an actually fun experience in the ICE
@reinni2968 Meh, 45 games isn't that much tbh, just grind regularly like you would usually do. Get a kill a game and a couple ground kills and you'll do fine with an average of a 1,000 per game
@@camronrapp4146 Well 22 ish matches a day is quite a lot lmao, you must spend a lot of time on your computer if you think its not. If you play decently and get more than 1k score a match thats a different story
@@reinni2968 you drop bombs on a base and then you get a kill and that’s 1k if not more of points. You gotta play at least rank 6 to be able to get thru the event
The fakour90 is a whole lot different to the phoenix. The fakour has a lot higher booster thrust, making it accelerate muuuuuch faster and also having a great sustainer stage. It actually has more delta v than the phoenix, so it should carry more speed and have better range than the phoenix. Also the crazy booster stage og 5 seconds, makes it a lot more useable than the phoenix for most engagements
@Master_Teaz just like ET, it is outright bad. Everyone preflares and chaffs, long range IR missiles have 0 utility, they are a team killing weapon if I ever saw one. Why would you use that over a T variant? T variant at least has a guarantee of hit of some sort

I admit i wasn't suprised to see this as an event vehicle definitely grinding for it tho waited quite a bit, i was actually suprised that Gaijin added its Iranian missiles and compatibility to the russian R27, which i thought was just rumor since going digging on the internet only goes so far in my country but maybe i didn't in right places
@@Anzdsfsdgldfmxv22 thanks for that bit of info, I remember reading up as well that since Iran-iraq war was around the counter the F-14's sent over had their avionics changed as incase of capture in combat only the limited amount of Aim-54 that were also purchased sent over as their only compatible missile but I guess this new Iranian sidewinder holds that info as dismissed
it doesnt have guided bomb like f14b anyway so no targeting pod and f14a us version dont have targeting pod as well for the same reason plus f14s are not really good cas plane either
That thing accelerates like a R-27ER, even faster I think. Currently the best long range missile, it destroys the phoenix. Stats cards alone are not a good method to compare top tier weapons, only show half of the picture. One of the main issues of the aim-54 is that it is basically useless at wvr engagements(especially around 10km and under) because of how slow it accelerates, the fakour-90 fixes that. Only needs 5sec of burn time to reach its full speed, while the phoenix needs 30sec.
You do realize an 8 hour work day of minimum wage is enough to afford this whole event right? It’s only 50 bucks for 10,000 GE. The whole event is 9000 GE.
