You're not wrong! This video just confirmed for me why I prefer staying on property. Yes, it is more expensive! But I have never seen stains on the bedding like that, and with these refurbs, outlets seem to be less of an issue. Well done, Demi!
Love all your videos!!! Can you PLEASE check for bed bugs when you do the reviews? My Boyfriend runs to the beds as soon as we get to a hotel and checks for bed bugs. We have a reservation for this hotel for the holidays BUT...not sure if we will keep the reservation. I hate the stairs on the sheets.
I always check for bed bugs, I just don’t film it. If there was, I would have very much put it in the video. I do lots of personal checks when I go to hotels.
38 years as a cleaning business owner (and yes, I've cleaned in hotels) and stained bedding is ALWAYS unacceptable. The general rule of thumb is if thats what it looks like in such an obvious place (bedding, for example, which guests will obviously see) you do NOT want to know whats happening behind the scenes in terms of cleanliness. Be VERY wary! Thanks for your honest review. They need to do MUCH better!
I worked 10 years in Anaheim at the front desk for a great hotel chain with high standards. If I got reports of bad linen issues I immediately moved my guests. Bad things happen at good hotels. I adjusted rates happily.
Unless it is a fresh stain, it's only a minor nitpicky thing. It's a waste to throw the sheets out. The trick with the wall outlets is to not charge all of your devices at the same time. You only need to charge something if the battery reaches 20%.
I’m just here presenting everything so everyone has the information. I do think though at the price point and what Marriott is supposed to be, it was a lot of stains.
If it's priced $80 below All Star Sports I might consider this. I would probably take it over the Courtyard for the free breakfast. There is also a Fairfield Inn at Flamingo Crossing so I would compare pricing on that too.
So the other one right behind you I don’t know if that’s the one you stayed in but that’s the one we stayed in that did not look like the one you stayed in. I guess they’re all different. I liked it because it was very reasonable in price.
Sup Demi! I’ve never stayed at a Good Neighbor hotel before. I’ve probably said this before, but I wouldn’t mind giving them a try if I was doing a shorter trip and wanted to save some money. I’d probably use Uber instead of the shuttle though. The funky mildew smell sounds alarming and I agree hotels need to move away from carpeting in the rooms. Now we need updated Outlet Sitch results for other hotels using the new standard.😂. Also, regarding the babka…was it chocolate babka or cinnamon babka?🤣
