Thank you so much for putting these songs up! It's helped me finally find the tunes for so many half-remembered songs from Girl scouts. If you take requests, could you please put up "I Know a Place" and the "Corn" song? (The former starts out with "I know a place, that no one ever goes, there's peace and quiet, beauty and repose" and the latter has a chorus about "hands are strong and our hearts are young, and our dreams are the dreams of all ages." ) Once again, thanks so much!
+Beautiful Truth You're welome! I unfortunately don't know either of those songs but I can see about learning them! I've had more than one request for Corn before.
+onmyHONOUR Thanks! I actually happened to find a bit more information about Corn- since it's eluded me for so long, I'd like to drop it here in case any other requesters are still searching. The song is also known as "Our Hands are Strong" and there appears to be at least one extant recording. The one I found is by Camp Robin Hood, on their website: www.camprobinhood.ca/camp_music
