Equality is treating people the same, so that everyone can become unique. Equity is treating people different, so that everyone will become the same.

The worst thing about DEI is the nullification of academic, vocational, social, and life skills.

I am six minutes in, and already I can tell that this is an extremely important video. It feels like I'm being fed after suffering a long period of near-starvation.

The short section about; "is having a special ed class segregationist?" Hit a little close to home. I was in special ed for a learning disability, but the goal was to integrate me to a normal class through study and work. Basically, I had to meet the standards of a normal class. Luckily through enough hard work, I was able to integrate with these normal classes and earn a diploma and not a GED upon graduation. I can't imagine the utter nightmare of dumbing down a whole regular class, just to be more "equitable" for my individual situation; but that's the goal of DEI and now we're seeing not people hired on merit of their work, but on what boxes they tick. The end result is a kleptomanic weirdo in goverment level Nuclear Waste management, who steals women's dresses from the luggage claim at air ports.

This man is who and what we need right now. No anger or hand wringing, just an intellectual and informed man explaining the terror that we are living through

I worked as a teachers assistant in a middle school SPED class. I experienced exactly what you explained. I didn't shut up and was kicked out.

This DEI stuff is everywhere. I was a volunteer for the National Ski Patrol for over 30 years. About 2 years ago they decided the organization was too male and too white. They commissioned a DEI study by a trio of 20-something consultants. One of the mandates that came out of the study was that we must address each first aid patient with their preferred pronouns and giver ours I was pushed out when I said I was not comfortable with that.

I'm a little late to the party, but I've been devouring James' lectures over the last two weeks. This has been unbelievably helpful because, where I work, the DIE religion has become central to everything. I've noticed that when I ask them to define terms like "decolonization" they avoid the question and put it off like crazy. It has been so confusing but now I think I understand what they are doing much better. We need more of these kinds of videos!!!

I did this at my job. I challenged my employer on a study, and ultimately, they agreed I was correct. I dug in and found inconsistencies.

Oh my. Just was forced to take dei training as a Montessori teacher and the lady who do it (Cindy Acker) said exactly what he was talking about in this. Wow. She even said the thing about Jedi training. She even explained why we can't use diversity equity and inclusion anymore to refer to this training.

Incredible job, my dude. When I see a Lindsay workshop drop for the New Discourses, I get as excited as if my favorite show just dropped a new season or my favorite comedian just released a new special. I find this topic brilliantly (albeit morbidly) fascinating and terrifying, and I want to know everything about it.

Mr. Lindsay was on a Daily Signal podcast some time ago stating that he finally felt like the wind was not in front of him but at his back. I think about that clip quite often because I get so unbelievably discouraged. I am sort of reminded of the scene in the lord of the rings when king Théoden asks, despondently, “ how can men prevail against search reckless hate?“

My aunt studied to be a teacher in georgia. When she graduated in 1991 they said she didnt need a teaching certification. This was because they perceived it as racist against minorities to require such a certificate. She then went to delaware eventually and they did require it. Interesting to see the beginnings of this policy.

First time I’ve heard about “entryism”. Before now, I didn’t know there was a word for that phenomenon.

I would just like to point out, in some cases, as is the case with K-12 education, and probably many other government fields, it is not "problematic people" who are leaving, and they are not being fired. In education, DEI and social justice ideology is contributing to a situation of such utter disorder and toxicity that reasonable people are just saying f*** this, and quitting. What then happens is less qualified younger (and therefore likely to be more friendly to DEI ideas) people are hired. The situation inside the organization only becomes more and more focused on DIE identity marxist crap, wash rinse repeat.

I have never hated anything quite like I hate a Marxist, as much as I hate the traitors in our government and in the population. I’ll be looking for everyone that is not a Marxist to discuss our plans to combat all of this and make forward movement to eradicate every bit of this ideology.. seriously, I want to see us pulling together and it being common place to make efforts to organize and get to work on this. As a straight white male DEI has kept me out of my career pathway. I have 2 degrees and 20 years of business experience and can not even get an interview in the Australian public service (where DEI is just in your face)... The public service asks if you're gay, trans, pronouns, black, a migrant and or female before you even apply (everything but white and male). If it was a fair and even hiring landscape, I would of been hired years ago. It's insanity.

My employer recently gave mandatory "employee expectations" training. This was DEI disguised as "sensitivity training" and calling the required behavior "expectations" rather than "standards" leaves a whole lot of subjectivity in how enforcement of said expectations can proceed. The entire course was full of newspeak, one of which was "observation", which in this context means "snitching".

I shit you not, I am currently going through a course called "Unconscious Bias" at work, it is mandatory. Can you guess the three main words that were introduced and repeated constantly after pressing start? YOU GUESSED IT! DEI!

I didn’t link ESG to forcing DEI but that’s exactly what happened. I think corporations have implemented DEI as a defense mechanism but the ESG score is also a big reason.

This presentation brought together history and current events to explain the “how” and more importantly the “why” of today’s entrenchment of destructive social ideals. I’ve been looking under my bed for a while. It is oddly comforting to now know some of the nature of the monstrous eyes that stare back at me.

I got to very similar conclusions myself: ESG and DEI are the tools of corporate socialism - a form of autocracy fueled by the greed of excentric billionaires and oversized corporations. It is very similar to communist utopia states of Eastern Europe in the second part of the XX. century - those were fueled by Soviet-Russian and French greed and imperialism - they wanted to get rid of all the intellectuals and the property owners of these countries and to get absolute power and control over these newly created states.

Loved this line: "identity is a very dangerous place to put people because you can't resolve it " or something like that :)

My favorite part of this presentation was all the useful information. My second favorite part of this presentation was James imitating a gay lisp in the last third of the presentation and getting stuck with a minor lisp until the end.

Equity means ownership. You have equity in your car or home. Now redistribute your home to others, include them based on diversity. DEI. A great movie that shows how this is done is "Doctor Zhivago". Better yet, read the book by Boris Pasternak.

Ayn Rand said that Communism creates a Lowest Common Denominator society. That's essentially 'Equity' in a nutshell in that it brings everyone DOWN the same level, not UP to the same level. We are all equal.....equally miserable.

My loved one took detailed notes on disruptions in class due to various things. I was baffled by the notes and saw who and what was the stoppage. Way too many. probably 30% of the time is wasted. We need them in special class rooms. hand down, no questioned asked The content here is priceless. So much time is wasted in corporate work, the mind boggles. How many meetings and trainings do you really need. I got out of corporate some time ago and will have a hard time going back if that time arises.

My ex got into a top-tier law school and then a top firm for the most part based on being a woman. She was very insecure about her status because she strongly suspected this. STILL, she ranted and raved about the privilege of white men - lol.

Back then I didn't even know what it was (it was still fairly new in the Netherlands, where I live), but it sounded pointless to me because it was not based on any practical problems we had at our company (and from my experience but also from the very diverse colleagues I was close with, there weren't any structural DEI-related issues in the normal work environment nor in the hiring process). So obviously I refused to do it and suggested others to do the same. And if you can't explain to me how my that would violate my employment contract, I call BS. When I read some articles about what a scam it actually is and when our (US-based) management also tried pushing an online course thing about "unconscious bias" (I briefly looked at it for some fun & gigs and it was clearly meant for an American audience anyway), I knew enough and got the hell out of that company as fast as I could. Thank God my current boss still has his sanity. Well maybe in some other ways :D But he hates all this nonsense as much as I do.

I like how Mr. Lindsay's excitement is directly proportional to the length of the lecture - his smile gets wider, and his arms are milling around twice as fast! Considering the martial arts clue, if only we could entice him to a 3h speech, then set him up against a neo-Marxist street-mob and switch on the forward motion, the resulting good old carnage could spare us decades of neo-Commie tyranny! ;D But more seriously... This lecture was a huge gold nugget for me specifically due to the info conveyed starting at 1:12:11. I was already since a long time convinced, that neo-Marxists grafted on Columbia University around '35 in the Bureau of Applied Social Research, and around '51 re-grafted back at Frankfurt, must've their huge credit in preparing and launching the Revolution '68, which was an immense success in the West, in some places (e.g. Germany) resulting in almost complete substitution of political crew. This means, that after this event they had much easier access to all important institutions and could expand much faster. Then, almost 10 years ago I learned from a guy maintaining some "Rocking history" (or similar) YT channel (which he unfortunately closed a year or two ago to move on with his life), that back in '73 NEA adapted the new definition of "racism" - briefly: "white = racist; black racist". He presented a scan of a typewritten text I couldn't find anywhere ever since. I then immediately reminded myself seeing, not long after the turn of centuries, Randi Weingarten (of whom I knew absolutely nothing at the time) spitting around some incredibly choleric saliva about someone daring to oppose their teachers unions and indispensable modern education currents. Thanks to this lecture I was able to learn about Ms. Patricia Bidol (then Pat A. Bidol, now Bidol-Padva) - an apparently famous person without a public biography, who basically concocted this concept ("Prejudice plus power" - R=P+P - here's the new anti-racist math!) in her book "Developing New Perspectives on Race" back in '70. Then during '71-'72 she worked with Michigan Education Association and NEA to produce the "Education and Racism: an Action Manual" distributed to other teachers' unions and "educators who wish to be no longer part of the problem, but rather part of the solution". So, finally I have that confirmation and another document in my library of grave sins against Humanity. I recommend everybody to download and read it - it's available freely online. Regarding Mr. Lindsay's complaint, that he cannot find the "Developing New Perspectives on Race" - I found it in the library of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania (E185.615.B5x), and in ~5 libraries returned by WorldCat in 2 editions - original '70 (10579499), and '72 reprint (2845458). The question is whether they'll let a "far-right racist white-supremacist reactionary terrorist" into their Safe Spaces? - but that's another story. ;D BUT, while searching for all that info I was easily attracted to a trope of another interesting curiosity. Let me insert a little trigger-warning here, because I'll be now touching something mostly unspeakable. There's a book - "What We Now Know About Jewish Education" (2008; available on Google Books), which is an almost 600 pages-long extra Haggadah about the state and future of the "traditional" Jewish Education, the content of which could perhaps make 50 pages, and which reading is therefore comparable to eating a coarse grit sandpaper tape. I recommend reading the "Closure" where they lament the "hemorrhaging of Jewish affiliation and physical continuity" and that "had there been no auto-da-fe, forced conversions or voluntary assimilation, we'd have numbered some 250 million"! Happens, Ms. Bidol-Padva contributed a 15-page chapter to this book under the title: "Informed and Passionate Dialogue: TRANSFORMATIVE Community Change Initiatives" using very well expected language, but not a word about racism (this word actually appears exactly ZERO times in the entire book, while "anti-Semitism" about 5 times). She's rather VERY concerned, that "it's essential to transform the quality of Jewish education and the entire education system" through "Transformational change ... so significant that it requires the organization to shift its culture and ppl's behavior and mindset to implement it successfully". Then, only in the "eJewish Philanthropy" (eJP) news, there's that article by Ms. Bidol-Padva: "Jewish Education Begins With Early Childhood" (2010) in which she introduces: "Six years ago, a group of leading Jewish philanthropists formed JECEI, the Jewish Early Childhood Initiative, with that mission in mind", and at its very end this article informs: "Bidol Padva is the Executive Director of JECEI" - hmmm...! Finally, there's an article "Progressives say racism is ‘prejudice plus power’ What does that mean for Jews?" (2018) available only from "The Times of Israel" and "Haaretz", where the 1st sentence rhetorically asks "Are Jews too powerful to be considered “victims” of racism?" and then they discuss the stance on racism by Sarah Jeong, Linda Sarsour, and Melissa Harris-Perry, building upon Bidol-Padva, as (paradoxically) different than antisemitism. In the same article they bring in a friendly-side observation, that "Antisemitism is a strange form of prejudice. Rather than denigrating Jews as inferior, it casts them as maliciously superior" - OY VEY! so it is different! Recapping: seems like we we have lots of Old&Wisers involved in the related movement: Marx himself, 75% of the Frankfurt School's staff, together with founders, the most prominent members of International - Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. We also have Randi Weingarten, biography-less Patricia Bidol-Padva, and "Jewish" "traditional" education. We also have IRHA now actively controlling the definition of antisemitism. Considering all of this, I have the following questions: - Does Jewish Education endorse Ms. Bidol-Padva? - Does Jewish Education need a Transformative Change? ...or maybe... - Does Transformative Change need Jewish Education? and finally: - Didn't the snake recently start eating its own tail? Can some Jews address this problem, please?

They said equality, so we gave them equality. That did not produce the outcomes they wanted so now they want to force that, and use the term "equity", which used to mean the value of property.
