I really feel like Joey set the standard for future performers when it came to throwing voices and really getting into character and making the songs very distinctly his own.
@@CaapriceTube1 as far as Joeys singing voice goes he's a weird baritone , he can go whistle-tone high if he wanted to and did in fact a lot when he was younger

Exactly I been having a 90s Marathon and it just randomly popped up and Its gonna be me from a concert and the one who made it was Justin but the best singers are Jc and Joey so it do make sense so I had come back and listened to Joey he Amazing!
lol im guessing thats why he chose to do so many different type of songs to really show it off and shut the people who talk shit about thoses in bands that have multipal singers
it's crazy how I listened to Nsync's songs obsessive and repeatedly during my teenage years, I knew all the words to almost every single song of theirs. And still, listening to Joey sing all these songs, I knew I wouldnt be able to recognize his voice. I wish we had the pleasure to hear him sing more often during the nsync years. He is amazing!

It's a shame Joey didnt get many solos while in NSYNC and am glad that this show was able to showcase his wonderful voice 💕. Remember that NSYNC would not had been successful if not for the consistent beautiful background vocals provided by Joey, Lance, and Chris ❤❤❤
Those boys always talk about each other-even today-like they are brothers. It’s nice to see something like that and there is no denying that each of those young man had an amazing voice. It was so nice to see Joey up there and you could tell how great he was working the stage, giving out some dance moves, and having such an amazing voice all at the same time.
@Jeepman89 He's had a couple guest performances since NSYNC and you can pick up really obvious bits and pieces of him in songs like I Thought She Knew.
Timberlake had more pop appeal, he had the look, vibe, and a voice more suited for pop music.... that's why he fronted the group joey couldn't do what Timberlake did because he was holding down the harmonies in all the nsync songs
Eh, many people condemned the Max Martin frontmen and women as auto tuned products with no soul or real talent. Joey legitimized his band to a set of people who wouldn’t take them seriously.
He was always my favorite member of NSYNC and all my friends thought I was insane. I knew he was a great singer and was always pushed into the background. I loved all of his performances on this show. Plus...he's still fiiiine 🤤😍
No actually, rabbit and peacock where the 🔛🔝, I was so mad when rabbit lost because he should have atleast made it to the finals and i understand monster was a fan fav but man atleast peacock should have won ngl(I'm just a salty person who likes musicals and likes creepypastas and creepy stuff and other things like that😞✊🏽)
He should have won damn it. We're in season 2 now and he's still my favorite. With all the other contestants, it seemed so scripted and more strictly choreographed. But with him, you can tell that he came up with a lot of the stuff himself and just randomly busted those moves like it was nothing. As a 90's girl I just knew it was him from the start. And though I used to be a Justin or JC fangirl like everyone else, this instantly upgraded him to my favorite member of NSYNC. I hate what Nicole said about his "My Girl" performance. It was just as good as his other performances, and his choice of that song was him showing his range and variety which made it even better IMO. And the shots of the female contestants on the screen in the background and him pointing to them while he sang the chorus? Come on! Pure gold 😂
My fave contestant was the rabbit. The whole costume, the whole persona and how he still stayed in character even when he was done Performing. He was hella epic plus it's Joey fatone from NSYNC. I mean come on. Lol.
Yep. Joey and Lance never got any solos. Chris rarely got a chance to shine either. Justin didn't need all those damned solos to himself (JC can sing however much he wants).

The entire time Season 1 was being aired, my family and I were cheering on the rabbit the entire time to win the competition. We were all shell shocked when he was voted out in the semis

@@michelleyeung385 I met him at the Marriot hotel about 17 years ago. He came into the salon where I worked and got his hair cut. I kept looking at him, and saying to myself he looks familiar. So my friend Thom cut his hair, while I was in the chair next to him, and I said oh, that's Joey, Thom is a little older than me, so he didn't know who he was until we explained it, and told him which songs he sings. So, Joey was real nice, and down to earth, we had a really nice conversation with him. We told him where to go and what good food to eat while he was in Philadelphia. He is a celebrity, but he is like a regular Joe walking down the street, real nice and totally cool.
I actually went to dinner with him and his family he used to live in Orlando Florida I'm not for sure if he still does he was an amazing guy and his family 2 they were really great people I met him at a show called FX in Orlando
i didn't watch season one, but going back and watching performances on YT, i can easily say the rabbit is my favorite. can't believe he didn't win. he put so much energy into each performance!
Reminds me of my albino rabbit who is really mean and ran away and was found blooded and decapitated in my neighbors backyard while their dog was chewing on my rabbit 🥴
I got to see Joey perform in Rent - and that really showcased his voice. So, I knew who the rabbit was when he started singing at the beginning. Nsync showed off the pretty boys and ignored true talent.
No to be rude or anything, but compared to the performances on the week Joey and Rumer were eliminated. The two of them didn’t have great performances compared to how the others did. I would’ve loved to have the two of them go to the final three, but their song choice is what prevented that from happening. On shows like this your song choice is a major part of you going to the next round.
Angelo Escobar The system for elimination is that the audience vote on which characters/performances they preferred out of the bottom 3 voted performances. I don't think the panelists vote at all, I haven't seen them vote alongside the audience. Try watching the show, it's good! It's on its 2nd season now.
Jenny's right You could actually tell he's from boy band bc of the way he dances I've seen a lot of bts lives to pick up on how people dance solo and how they dance in a group and you could tell he was used to dancing in a group

He was robbed man....I watched this season last year when it came out and I've finished the second season but I came back to this since I admired the rabbit so much. Just because he chose a song that had sentimental meaning to him, he lost? That's absolutely nuts. He was a serious contender for the finale before that buffoon ruined his chances. He was the only person from both seasons combined that stayed in character the whole time, and come on that costume is legit 🔥. I hate these judges. I hope Nicole isn't here for the third season.
He showed such a great range of styles, with his own individual twist on it each time. He's not just a great singer, he's a great performer, too-makes his songs interesting & fun to watch as well as listen to, which not every artist can do.
I recognized Joey's voice instantly the second the Rabbit first started performing. Then he started dancing and it was obvious. Can't believe there was even a debate about it!
