Hello!!!
In this master class you will learn the mass recipe with the proportions of the components, from which I mold flowers and decorative elements, and also make impressions from molds.
The master class is presented exactly as a recipe and batch of mass, as well as an explanation to it, modeling items and painting the frame and decor are just an addition. The filming was already late at night, the mass froze and to include an additional light source I simply could not, for this part of the shooting is not very high-quality.
Addition:
With the mass you need to work quickly, as it freezes for 20-28 minutes. Of the components that I use, the mass remains in working condition for 28 minutes, if not add vinegar, then less. Therefore, for beginners, I advise first to fashion a separate element (for example, a flower) in plasticine, so to speak, to practice, and then start working with the mass.
I never throw out the remains of the mass, I always keep the molds at hand, so that I can use them to dispose of the remains of the mass, and then apply the elements in my works, and from the remains of the mass I sculpt balls and bird eggs of various sizes for nests, balls without holes-I use them in compositions-in the form of beads-paint in the required color, it is very profitable, since large beads are not cheap, it turns out direct saving :)!
In the process of mixing, I lubricate the hand with petroleum jelly, and in the process of molding I pour the filler and roll in it, if necessary, the elements in the process of formation.
Shrinkage does not give mass. From the mass you can make faces for dolls made of cotton wool.
Mass can be immediately tinted in the desired color, mixing any construction paint or acrylic paint, and then make a tint.

The mass recipe:
-60 gr. Finishing putty (I have satengips), you can use white plaster (alabaster), ask in the building shop for gypsum there is a marking with letters indicating different pouring rates-it is better to use gypsum with a slow pouring rate;
-5 g. starch (starch adds mass to whiteness, instead of it it is possible to add a little white ground or white acrylic paint, addition of starch is not necessary);
- A teaspoon of table vinegar (we add vinegar as a moderator of solidification of the mass, if it is not added, the mass will thicken faster, but at the same time, the product will eventually be stronger);
-10 gr. glue moment joiner, you can apply and conventional construction adhesive, but then the product will eventually be more fragile, joiner glue makes the work more robust.
- Any oil or petroleum jelly for lubricating hands when mixed;
ATTENTION, important details:
* Mix each new portion of the mass in clean utensils, clean tools and clean hands-if a piece of the previous mass falls, the new mass can quickly harden.
* Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands after mixing mass-it will be easier for you to sculpt.
* Store the finished mass in a package in a cool place-not under direct sunlight-from the heat the mass hardens quickly.
* In the process of mixing, you can add a little putty (gypsum), as well as during the molding process, you can roll up the elements in the putty (gypsum);
* If you see that the mass begins to break, it means that it stasis harden;
* All elements are glued to the glue of the moment the carpenter.
