I love working on parts that no one sees, some parts you paint to impress others and some you do to impress yourself. Also the act of painting is just therapeutic at times and I cant stop.
Dude been watching your Gunpla progression for a long while now, I'm a hand brush painter and never made the airbrush transition until i started getting into Gunpla because of ye. Your kits look super dope, you should be very proud of them.
8:25 man I totally understand you, no one is going to see it but you just can't stop yourself, seeing all those details waiting to be colored and given the spotlight even if it's only till you get the armour on
I really like the intro explaining why this model is awesome. As someone that didnt know about Gundam until was I way past the age for it to have much impact (but love the models anyway) it helped me relate. Good job sir!!
OMG. MY DUDE, YOU'RE MY HERO! thank god another human being exists that understands the correct gradient for heat discoloration and didnt do it backwards with blue at the outter edge like nearly every single other person i have ever seen on the entirety of the internet!! HALLELUJAH BROTHER! 🤜🤛
I recently rewatched the first few parts of Unicorn and I really appreciated that fight scene a lot more this time around, the way the Jegan pilot is inputting commands and able to keep up with kshatria is impressive. He might've lost but at least the Feddie went out swinging
the jegan fight you mentioned at the beginning of the video is one of mt favorite examples of there being other great MS pilots besides the named characters the grunt suits have a special spot in my heart you did an amazing job with this keep it up :)
great build video. a little backstory. a little concept talk. a little build advice. a little model review. a little art supply/tool talk. some food. a happy Fluffy. and finally some good vanity shots. all with decent edits and good tunes. That's what I'm here for. 👍🏼
I think A high grade Stark Jegan was the first model kit I every truly modded and went all out with painting and weathering and a little custom detailing and really making it my own. It holds a specially place in my heart because of that.
Dude, it's your gunpla videos that inspire me to get my ass back into gunpla building. Also, a good way to block light bleeding is to spray flat clear coat on the clear parts and spray matte black on the inside of the plastic. Really looks good like that
Really like this format for your videos. I like hearing your thought process while showing relevant footage. Hope you can continue this for future videos. And as always, great build!
Would love this kit someday. Attention to the little details is what separates great artists from the good. No one else may see it, but you know it is there, and now so do all of us. Keep up the amazing work.
Great job as always Gundam, Your the reason the daughter and i have started doing these kits. We are both learning to air brush and detail paint and have learned a ton of tricks from watching your builds. Keep up the amazing work and can not wait to see the next build. Hail from the FridayNightTights Fellowship. and HAIL IT'SAGUNDAM!!!!!!
the pilot controls for disengaging the missle pods on the shoulders is so badass it's quite complex and there's a lot of animation to it but it adds so much to a mecha fight scene
Badass. I’ve never seen unicorn. My first was Wing, them the OG, then stuff like Seed. Iron Blooded Orphans was spectacular. I loved the 08th team. Stardust Memory hit me the hardest. I’ll go watch unicorn right now. Thank you for showing me a badass grunt. I dig the color scheme makes me think 1980s Japanimation for sure. Solid choice.
I havent watched gundam in a long time and have been wanting to re watch from the begining. Never got into unicorn or any of the newer stuff. Where is a good place to stop. Thanks for another top quality video papa g.
I'd say don't even bother with Narrative. I am not a Unicorn fan in the slightest but I can see the impact it made gives it some merit. Narrative however is just grabbing the worse parts of Unicorn and making a schlocky action movie out of them. Also I've been following the Moon Gundam manga and it feels like a better narrative version of what Unicorn should've been. Lastly F91 is fun if you don't mind the story being a bit all over the place. Feels like if it was a 8-12 ep ova it could've had time to feel more coherent but at least the animation and the mobile suits are very cool!
Too dope to smoke! It has like 3 minutes screen time, yet that scene was so badass to me growing up, I was hurling my wallet at PBandai yelling, “take my money” I already have a mint-chocolate chip colored CCA jegan sooo I came up with custom colors.
You didn't go to far with the detail Gundam it's a passion project of yours if it matters to you then it matters you will find joy and pride in your detailing
3:13 SWEET PUPPY DOWG, GÖRL 🥹❤️ 4:02 So when are you going to turn a Beargguy into a Fluffyggal? Lol 7:46 It’saGundam over here mixing paint like Picasso and I’m over here just getting into painting with the Taniya spray cans like a filthy noob 🤣 9:05 I’d totally watch all of the steps! What is reverse washing?! What witchcraft are you conjuring?? 10:48 That looks freaking awesome, though! 11:44 I see a Fluffy!! 🥹 13:17 That looks amazing! Another awesome job! Can you have ItsAnus make custom ShinGundam water or slide on decals? That would be 🤌
The Jegan is my favorite grunt suit personally, and the Stark Jegan is baller. Shame it's a P-Bandai. Missed opportunity to make solid cash. Also, once again, baller job Gundo.
Can't wait to see this PapaGundam always glad to see a new video (Also leaving a comment to show Susan some engagement I wanna make sure I get updates)
Amazing work as always, and inspirational! Guess I'll need to watch Unicorn next! I built a cheap MG Aile strike just to try weathering it in the style you did on this one, but I didn't have the courage, too afraid I'd mess it up. I always get too attached by the time I finish painting. I really like these proper militaristic looking grunt suits, I'd much rather build these then the flashy seed wingsuits, these are just much harder to come by.
Yes!!! I love it when we get another video like this. Really encouraging and inspiring work man- the Jegan is so iconic. The mixing of paint is a pain; but the tone you got is great.
Beautiful work, papa! I painted my Hi-Nu's inner frame and left half the armor off so I could look at it. Don't know if I'll do it again, especially on my current to-do list of RG God Gundam and the MG Barbatos.
Fabulous video gundam! One of the best in a while. Im so so so glad you did the commentary. Its what makes your videos better than any other. Keep rocking bro!
Absolutely a beautiful Mobile suit and custom work done 👀. I am holding out for the prototype Stark jegan😅 As usual it is a pleasure to see your Channel update with a Master grade mobile suit. You're narration and cinematography is stellar 💫 please keep it up 👍
How are the nippers? I do like the idea of being able to just get a new blade instead of getting another whole nipper but does it cut as smooth as SPN-120 Godhands?
Damn i was at a hobby show and Born Paint had a booth. Should have gotten some to try. When mirror finish is needed i usually use Alclad, but lately some of my alclad has oxidised in the bottle...
Yoooo I love your work gundam! I've been following you for a few years now and have been wanting to an artist collaboration with you since I first saw your gunpla builds!
There's a certain charm in being the faceless, nameless mook in a War conflict. A cog in the machine run amok out of your control, thrown around and twisted by unnatural forces the human body was never meant to with stand.
Great work! I've actually bought three HG Stark Jegans. I keep trying to add plaplate details and an LED in the head with a battery pack and switch in one of the missile pods, and keep screwing up.
