Corruption and bribery with UEFA is how P$G became popular. They broke FFP 4 times by now but it will never go public thanks to ties with UEFA committee. Biggest disgrace in club football.
@@selenophile410 it's a joke, like being bossy / swaggy and stuff, like "Zlatan doesn't play football, football plays Zlatan" or "When Zlatan was born, his father called him dad" etc It has a reason behind it, as he was bullied as a young kid idr the exact story tho
Same, i normally hatte Football but i Love thus Kind of documentation, there ist a German Channel called Simplicissimus ist the Same Stile of Videos but obviusly in German and about every topic, Not only Football,
It definitely was intentional! Besides Messi's shirt number, I also see it as a "subliminal" way to say that PSG's strategy is perfect - 10 out of 10...
La Liga was incredible because of Messi vs Ronaldo and Barcelona vs Real Madrid rivalry. but these days, not so much. they are both gone. Ronaldo is now at Man United which won't really win something with him there. btw Ronaldo's dedication and love for Man United is obvious whenever he gets to play each week. and Messi at PSG? Messi is mostly there because of money which isn't something wrong. but I think the most important thing Messi has in his mind might be his last World Cup in 2022 and maybe the last Copa America in 2024 with Argentina? but still, I wish I would have seen Messi play in the Premier League for clubs like Man City or Chelsea tbh.
@@navist5177 you're a kid my dude. the clasico rivalry goes way back to the civil war. di stefano and kubala talked about it and said that the rivalry has always been as intense. and btw, clasicos were fun because of pep and mourinho, not because of messi and ronaldo. zidane ruined clasicos with his boring football
@@doggerlander Barça vs real madrid real big rivalry started from Figo,. When Figo went to Real Madrid and Camp Nou boo him. From that time barcelona and real madrid never sell player to each other. For example luis Enrique played for real madrid béfore the Figo incident. Im from Spain, Barcelona and my father watched that match in Camp Nou. Are u from Alfredo di Stéfano era old Abuelo?
Hosting the world cup , being on the board of uefa , making new associations/deals there's a log going on. Qatar wants to turn psg into a footballing giant that will not only clean their image but also pay off in the future by bringing in huge financial amounts.
@@sasmitvaidya3594 every middle eastern country is better than football than India. Sunil Chettri can’t start in the MLS, 0 games played. Hardly got to play a few games for Sporting CP’s reserve team.
This aged wonderfully. Another year, still no CL for Paris. Eventhough you add players like Donnarumma, Messi, Wijnaldum, Hakimi, etc, to the squad. LOVE TO SEE IT
Messi is a big investment for every clubs, Barça has lost almost more than 80% of their revenues after Messi is gone. Anyway, it's a good and educated content!
@@mrrubikguy4424 cause every team can present a budget for the coming season...Barcelona laid the budget for 2021/2022 season...Definitely if the pandemic persists and stadiums are empty then their will be losses...
With a huge backing of Qatar, Ronaldo could be their next eye candy that could bring huge revenue stream from selling PSG merchandise and collaboration contracts. The star power if Ronaldo sign for the team (with Messi already in Paris) could bring an unparalleled asset
It seem PSG and Bayern are going to be the new Titans of football for many years to come. It's amazing what great business acumen, and a dedication to your clubs culture can do. I've been binging all of your videos while at work and I gotta say; this is some quality content. Keep it up!
You forgot to mention a very important thing, how Real Madrid still a desirable destination even one of the best players in PSG which is Kylian Mbappe wants to go there
@@nigelsmeets963 I think that dude misunderstood that being popular doesn't mean being better everytime PSG are more popular because of their variety of sponsor deals but Juve and Chelsea are bigger clubs
can you discuss about how PSG’s business approach affects their real “footballing efforts” on Europe’s most prestigious competition, The UEFA Champions League? like prize money, marketing, etc. because somehow they seem to not be able to compete with other Europe’s big teams albeit having supercars in their garage.
Insightful and informative as always. A club with such vast resources look like they can afford to play this kind of game as you have suggested. A bit alarming really.
I hate it when I’m doing something important and I get a notification telling me Athletic Interest has uploaded a new video, subsequently making me re-arrange my priorities to AFTER I watch the vid. Damn you AI, damn you all to a Tubie…or whatever it is they call the award they offer to top content creators who have outshone others in the same field. I am forever a dedicated fan 🥲
I don't think Al khelaifi thought all of this to sign Messi. Rather he thought all of this to harm competitors and found himself lucky-ish to get Messi in consequence. Also he has been brilliant to create a club that is not that dependant on his money, he is making PSG "sustainable" so the day he decides to leave the club doesn't feel that much the departure of his money
I was expecting a video on Messi joining Paris, your video on Jordan partnership with PSG was great, and I was wondering how did Messi benefited himself or his own Adidas/Messi Brand by joining them
Been following this channel since last year, I've always like your content. Keep up the good work. One of the most underrated channel & hidden gem in RU-vid.
I request you guys to make documentaries on football clubs and player in the same way I absolutely adore your content Love you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Got to respect PSG brand strategic ppl, from 500k to 80m in 10 years is insane and making them the "coolest club in the world" is insane. Another GEM from Athletic Interest, now the undisputed GOATS of Football RU-vid 🙏
You forgot to mention their deal with LGD (the strongest Chinese Dota 2 team in the past 3 years who have only narrowly lost 2 of the last 3 Dota 2 International Finals). Now the team is called PSG LGD, which brings great exposure to the club in Asia and other parts of the world.
Very surprised not to see the PSG league of legends eSports team mentioned as part of their brand growth strategy. They are by far the most successful football club operated eSports team and have gone to international tournaments several times in a row (compared to S04 who just had to liquidate their team for financial reasons)
Not winning the Champions League as yet also adds another interesting layer to the PSG story as all the moves they're making seem much more meaningful and are geared towards an ultimate goal of winning that elusive trophy.
Barcelona Fc Legendary 35 years old Lionel Messi made history in Barcelona Fc and his a Legendary of Football of his time line .Lionel Messi 35 years joining Paris Saint German Fc on free transfer from Barcelona Fc was good for his Career 👋
I watch this high quality content without any transfer fees. Well, that and data for the google algorithms. Thanks! Vielen dank. Gracias. Спасубо Merci
I think PSG studied the Barça situation and realized it would be impossible for him to continue with the La Liga rules. Also Joan Laporta definitely knew since a few weeks before Messi left, there is absolutely no way he didn't
Messi does a lot great things on the pitch but the one thing that stands out is his ability to see spaces you and i can't see. He gets pass defenders as is they weren't there lol
Few points. It is interesting that the transfer saga is labeled as “the greatest of all time”. It suggests the transfer wasn’t completed in just two days as Messi said. It is not clear if those 280 M€ include or do not include the Qatar capital injection. Also, according to Forbes, CR7 makes more money in sponsorships than Messi. So, even if Messi has more followers, CR7 seems to have more financial impact. Additionally, it is false that Messi’s transfer was free. The signing bonus reached 30 M€. Besides, the Super League has officially not failed. It is still a live project. In general, we can see that PSG is trying to monopolize European football no matter how. “Football for the fans” actually means “we control the masses”. PSG, and not the Super League, is the biggest threat for football as we used to know it
I believe they named it a saga since the year before Messi was close to leaving but couldnt because of a missed deadline. And through that PSG has probably looked at the possibility of signing Messi. Messi was on holidays expecting to be able to sign the contract with Barcelona when he got back (Barcelona told him that they could keep him) only then did Barcelona tell him that it was impossible due to spanish law. And the part with the transfer being for free was about them not paying Barcelona like they had to with Neymar. That was a big part of the video. They want Barcelona to suffer because that means less competition. Its the same with the Super League. They want the big clubs to suffer financially because they know, that they dont. They want to be the only one with massive amount of money where ever possible.
Another reason for why PSG refuse to join the Super League is because the Champions League is broadcast by BeInSport, owns by Qatar and lead by... Al Khelaifi So... Why kill the golden eggs chicken ?
