That was after (!) the world championship 2014.... So Real Madrid was very happy about the favorable price for that Bayern Munich offered him.

this wasnt prime bayern munich. prime bayern munich was under heynckes. guardiola is a great coach but he lives off the success at barca which was mainly caused due to their structures and having the little argentinian tho. as a big club and because of peps style we were dominating our league but it didnt relate to the ucl and same you can see at city. a lot of their games in the ucl final rounds are actually nothing special. peps football is good but not amazing, it only looked amazing at barca because of the said reasons yet they didnt even dominate that much. heynckes bayern was special, perfect balance between defense and attack, always with the correct pressing and ideas in attack.
