@@Matt-td5mz They're preparing for the most important game of their lives. Interrupting that preparation with inanity is counterproductive. If promoting the tournament / women's sport is a genuine objective, then why not show all the matches free to air?
@@johnstory2996 again… media makes up a large part of sport. If there was no media for this women’s World Cup game, no one would care. Then it wouldn’t be the “most important game of their lives”
@@Matt-td5mz Urgh. I see we've come to an intellectual crossroad. But I will reiterate, if the broadcaster genuinely cared about promoting the tournament, the most effective way of doing so would have been to show every game free to air, at least in the host nations. Somebody botched the deal, and they should give themselves an uppercut.
