@@wowplayer160 its bad just because its bad dude. You can eat poop if you want just dont get sensitive when people point out your eating poop. just like you can like bad or horrible movies, but dont get mad when people point out how stupid those movies are, they arent attacking you personally so dont take it personally.
one of my favorite things about this movie was Carrie anne moss spent a long time learning to stunt drive for the freeway scene, and theres an outtake of her doing a powerslide with laurence fischbourne in the passenger seat who hops out and yell's "THIS CHICK CAN DRIVE"
"I'll just leave her for you" -so darn funny!!! Have to say though as much as I like Trinity, Monica Bellucci is just another level of attractiveness! Keep up the great reactions!
They were trying their best to make her look less attractive in passion of the Christ? Didn't work so they just went with less makeup n smeared dirt on her face..
I loved playing enter the matrix on ps2. You have a choice of playing Niobe or Ghost. Its cool because it has original cutscenes that could be a movie by itself
I believe they mentioned "Broadcast Depth" meaning they are deep underground and the Matrix "signal" exist on the surface where the machines are. So they have to go up a certain distance to be close enough to the surface for the signal to reach from the Ship to the Matrix. like getting close enough to the WiFi.
In the scene with the Architect all the Neos on the screens represent different possible "realities" or possible outcomes for the Matrix. In every reality Neo has that conversation with the Architect, and we get a small glimpse of all the different responses Neo could have had.
@6:00 I believe that scene takes place in the construct. Tank is "dead" because he wouldn't take a big paycut to be in the sequel. You can only enter the Matrix if you're in a certain range. I.e. not too deep in the surface. That is why they refer to "broadcast depth" That is why they can't do it from Xion.
Fun Facts they wrote off the Character Tank because the Actor Pulled a Terrence Howard and wanted equal pay to the main cast and they just said naw your fired.
Le Pacte des Loups / Brotherhood of the Wolf is a great movie that includes Monica Bellucci (Persephone) in a major role. It’s all in French (plus a bit of Italian IIRC) so probably a bit harder to do a reaction to but worth a watch just for yourself.
12:53 "Why you _lie_ to her, man?" Oh, he didn't. Consider that vision. It shows Trinity sustain a shot that everything we know about medicine tells us _should_ be fatal, and we see the expression of surprise begin to appear on her face, but we don't actually see her _die._ And remember, in part I, _Neo_ gets shot _over and over_ again, and _actually_ dies, before being restored by true love's _kiss._
That sequence from chateau fight to freeway chase was incredible to watch in the theatre. The rest of the movie seemed like a bit of a letdown in comparison. The burly brawl (the fight with all the Smith copies) always looked off to me because of the obviously fake doubles.
Reloaded is a great sequel. Really had a lot of fun with this film! Revolutions was pretty good also but the new one "Resurrections" was goddamn awful!
@Necramonium One of the best scenes in the movie mate...ont know why people dislikes...pure style, the music, the scenes, the slow mo, the sex, it shows that we are still alive ......fucking awesome !
Jada was pregnant with Willow when she filmed her scenes Aaliyah would of been the operators girlfriend but she died before filming i just really love this movie and a lot of things happened to me when this franchise came out. I cannot wait for the 4th movie. I hope it doesnt suck
First two are simply amazing. Third one is also very good but mainly focusing on saving Zion. Overall a fantastic trilogy that shouldn’t have been tarnished with the new crap they just put out with a matrix name.
This one is easily in third place with its pretentiousness, Revolutions pulls ahead because it doesn't indulge in that rubbish. Reloaded has some good scenes but more scenes that make me want to scratch the back of my head through my face.
The Matrix is iconic, Reloaded and Revolutions get progressively worse. Reloaded relies on action scenes as the story is weak, entertaining nevertheless. Revolutions is unintentionally hilarious at times.
23:10 Carrie Anne Moss actually stunt drove her motorcycle against traffic for that scene. Some of the vehicles are CG to fill up the road but not all.
Hey, maybe you'd like Warrior. Not a movie but series based on Bruce Lee's ideas. Original type of series for sure. Try that and maybe and overall reaction or about one or two episodes.
The screens in the room with the Architect represent the infinite branching of all the possible choices Neo might make. That's why choice is the problem in keeping the Matrix stable. It also explains the Oracle's involvement, as she is able to probabilistically determine the most likely choices, which is how she seems to know the future. It's really the fundamental difference between a digital perspective with discreet values, and an analog perspective where everything is a shade of gray.
The scene with all the Neos were all the other versions of him in other versions of the matrix that's why he knows so much about what Neo would say because he has had similar conversations many times over
23:33-To be honest, that was actually Moss riding the motorcycle, against the flow of traffic on a real set! The only thing that was CGI was some of the cars swerving out of the way. Cars that were in lanes that were far enough away from Moss without having to swerve at all were real, while ones that were CGI. Moss was able to made turns to dodge the CG cars, as marks were place on the roadway.
"Would you take the _red_ pill or the _blue_ pill?" This is an answer, I can tell, you, will probably change as you go through life. I can tell you, I was an adult when the first movie came out, and I would've taken the red pill without _hesitation._ I was a fairly _young_ adult, though. I was fully grown, but I was _young_ and _strong_ and that's probably the main reason. Ten years later, I probably _still_ would've taken the red pill, but there would've been _some_ hesitation. Not anymore. My appetite for conflict has been fading. No, give the red pill to someone _else_ as young and strong as _I_ used to be. I'll take the blue pill and go about my life in the Matrix.
Morpheus on the semi truck before it collided prayed to Neo and then Neo came down from heaven and saved them.. Neo is Jesus in the Matrix. The anomaly in the Matrix is the savior that appears in every Age.
_Reloaded_ and _Revolutions_ came out within a few _months_ of each other, which is understandable, given the cliffhanger at the end of _Reloaded_ that _Revolutions_ resolves, and it would not surprise me to learn that _Rev_ is basically a continuation of the script from _Rel._ That's why everything from _Rel_ continues in _Rev_ so seamlessly, and that includes their special effects which are _orders of magnitude_ better than the effects in the _first_ one. None of this changes the fact, though, that I prefer the first one. First, consider the _incredible_ philosophical _depth_ that movie takes you into. That's something that _far and away_ surpasses _Rel_ and _Rev._ At the end of your first viewing of _that_ movie, you find yourself taking in your surroundings and wondering if they're part of an elaborate _simulation._ And as I develop an increasing appreciation for philosophy, I find myself developing an increasing appreciation of part I. But second, consider _The Matrix_ entirely on its own for a moment. It didn't really end with any loose ends that really _had_ to be tied up with sequels. The Wachowskis were smart about it. They made _The Matrix_ in such a way that, if the franchise never went any further, it could be considered complete, but if the studio asked them to make more _Matrix_ movies, there was plenty of room to _expand_ the franchise. That's a point that doesn't really stand _out,_ but it's _incredibly_ useful the way they ended part I.
24:28 "Come on now, Morpheus. I know you can whip this agent's ass." Well now, remember, it's only happened _once_ that we've seen Morpheus take _on_ an agent, hand to hand. This was _after_ he had warned Neo that everyone who had ever done so had _lost._ Accordingly, even though he put up a good fight, that's what happened to _him._ Now remember that _these_ agents are _upgrades,_ so fighting one of them should pose an even _greater_ challenge. Let's not be so confident in Morpheus.
Why waste time on the horrible sequels. You should see Dark City which came out before the matrix and the Matrix actually took set from it. You should also check up the 13th floor. both much better movies than the sequels
Imagine Tommy Lee Jones giving that speech in the caves?.. Also sadly it's not Wachowskis' it's rather Chad Stahelski (stunt director for Matrix 2, 3 and he's director for John Wick movies) and Yuen Woo-Ping (amazing fight choreographer, with vast filmography starting with old Kung Fu flicks also fight choreographer for whole Matrix trilogy).
The Matrix Resurrections was good but the lead-up to the actual plot can get boring as fuck at times since it's a two and a half hour movie so the first 45 minutes alone is just world-building and character intros. All in all I liked the latest one, though.
red pill, absolutely no question. the fight scenes in this movie were too long, in my opinion, and everything was drawn out and it gets irritating after awhile. like, get to the dang point already. then the architect scene explains it all and... the movie could have been 15 minutes long. lol!
Yes the highway scene was real they made a highway And And had a stunt woman Drive the motorcycle in between cars that were only going 5 to 10 miles an hour
They can't go into the matrix from Zion because it's too deep. They mention at various points about "broadcast depth" I assume they have to be at a minimum distance from the machines servers(or wherever the machines store all the data for the Matrix.) Also that clean looking room with the people at Zion when the ship is on approach, they're plugged in to a programme like the training programmes. Allows them to operate the entrances etc to Zion better I guess.
Yeah, they made a lot of references, some subtle, others not, that there's a co dependency between man and machine which suggests the solution in the third movie where neither side wipes out the other.
She wasn't being a hater, she was speaking the truth. Love doesn't last forever. eventually, it will die along with us when the time comes. Also not gonna lie, I drive motorcycles in GTA V like how Trinity did in the highway scene.
