Started out thinking ‘okay we’ll see what kind of crap this turns out to be’. Watched it through to the end, and I actually kinda like the premise. I was a huge fan of the series and how it morphed into its final phases, I’d watch a fourth installment if that were the basis of it

My main issue with this is they immidialaty start talking about the matrix and the machines, the person they are trying to recruit has no idea what neo is talking about. In the Animatrix and the Matrix they are never that direct when they are talking to someone they want to pull out.

My theory. Neo wakes up . same place. Same computer. Cant contact anyone from before. Wonders if it was all a dream. Everything seems exactly how he left it before meeting morpheous Hes walking down the street. SEES TRINITY! Runs up and interacts with her. She doesnt know who he is. She gets away from him. Someone pulls him aside. Whispers "Neo" hes intrigued. First time anyones called him that since he woke up again Turns out they've been following this Trinity look alike. Shes doing things that hasn't been seen before. Freezing entire frames of program (freezing time) walking through walls. Weird stuff. But here's the catch. She shows up as a program on all the computers. Neos confused. They are too. Because as far as they can tell hes plugged into the matrix. But they don't know from where. Anyways. Turns out when Neo saved Trinity. Pulling the bullet out of her. He imprinted part of himself onto her. Like he did agent Smith. The Trinity they see now is a rogue program, or is she more? And now the battle begins. With a tenuous peace between machine and human. One forbidden love could spell disaster. On one side, are the purist, bitter and resentful against machine and programs. Then there are those who are loyal to Neo, or have grown to have mutual respect for certain programs. And what are the machines thinking? Are they the ones that have Neo plugged in? Are they watching.? Studying? Or looking to finally perfect the matrix? As we explore what is love. What is destiny. The saviour of the human race now in love with a program. A program imprinted with human emotion and a threat to machine and man alike with abilities capable of destroying both.

If there is another Matrix it will not be connected to the first. The machines would just let Noe's matrix die out and would put people into a completely different Matrix that Neo is not part of.

Nice vid man! Love the intro and the modern look, exactly how I pictured a Matrix movie would be in 2021. BUT, if you remember (or watched) the 3rd Matrix Movie, the new "The One" is the young Indian girl (I think her name is Tati). I think she will play a role in this new Matrix movie, and possibly played by Priyanka Chopra, who was confirmed to be in the movie. Your theory of Neo being a mentor, but my theory would be the opposite, where he would be the bad guy. My theory: After the 3rd Matrix Movie, Neo becomes the new "Architect" of the Matrix (The Architect is the guy Neo had the conversation with in the 2nd movie). Trinity (who's in the movie, bc Carrie Ann Moss is confirmed to be in the movie) is his new "Agent Smiths", though the real Trinity is actually dead (as seen from the last movie). Niobe (Jada is confirmed to be in the movie) returns to the Matrix, encounters something wrong, and recruits the "new generation' of resistants, led by Tati, the new chosen one. This is just my theory, it's as good as anyone else's i guess

Amazing fan film opening... (Just some constructive criticism, not hate) it’s a little repetitive of neos opening and it’s long, but if I were an executive I would consider actually using this if it fit with the script (to like show they were trying to recruit more people and such, show they are trying to take more people out of the matrix to rebuild what they have lost).
