The Mavericks - Full Concert Stream - Albuquerque, NM - 7/23/2022 

Wife hired the Mavericks to play for a private surprise party for me because she knows Mavericks best band there is. Private security of SpecOps veterans was needed knowing Mavericks have loyal following. People who heard Mavericks playing outside the club became Maverick fans that evening. Mavericks made this one bash everyone still talking about . Best present ever, a memory for all of us who were there. Mavericks got me some extra loving from my wife too.

I never heard of The Mavericks until I was just reading an article about Raul having cancer and having to cancel concerts. I wish I had heard of them sooner. I really enjoy and appreciate their sound. Praying for Raul.

I’ve seen a lot of bands, and none of them has more fun onstage than these guys, and it’s contagious. It doesn’t hurt that they’re all so talented. I just got to see them for the first time and I hope to see them many more. My partner got up and danced on his own and he has never done that in public in his 54 years. (I checked.) He doesn’t even dance at home. Anyone who can get this man to dance is doing something right.

WOOOW… you can listen 100 times and still is just as fantastic. His voice and interpretation of each sound and melody to the Virtuoso Eddie Perez to the all other instrument Virtuoso 100% of the time through each song and the cohesiveness of the orchestra and ultra rich sounds… one of the few, very few band that sound much better live than In studio!!!!

My Lady and I were at this concert. To say that this concert was great just does not do it justice. We have seen them 6 or 7 times in concert and this was the best so far. Perfect vocals, perfect instrumentals, and Raul and Eddie's vocals make hearing them a wonderfully entertaing evening. We'll go see them again in December when they come to Santa Fe. They just seem to get better and better every year. Keep it up guys!!

Maverick’s you are on your top game in this concert!

I am 77 years of age and had never heard of The Mavericks until about 3 months ago (I live in Australia) when I accidentally came across them on RU-vid when looking for versions of Your Cheatin Heart. Over the decades I have heard and seen many bands and groups, virtually lost interest over the past 30 years or more because no group appealed. The Mavericks in my opinion is the best band ever that I have heard - better than the Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, ABBA, and other group or any individual singer. And in looking at/listening to them in RU-vid videos going back 30 years, they just keep getting better and better. The variety of their music is spectacular (rock, pop, country, Latin, crooning, etc) and it amazes me how they can produce an almost orchestral quality to some of their instrumentals. I have not been to a band concert for donkeys' years, because none have interested me - but if The Mavericks came to Australia, I would be first in line for tickets. I like to mess about with guitar playing and singing and I have added several Mavericks songs to my favorites. I also love the fact that they have picked up on and improved many old songs which were great in their day (50-70 years ago) but passed into obscurity in recent decades, because people are always looking for something new. Good music is good music, regardless of how long ago it was popular. I have also noted that a typical big crowd that comes to see The Mavericks consists of people of all ages from late teenagers to people probably older than me. Fantastic band and lead singer (and no doubt the boss), Raul Malo. Long may they live and play and entertain.

Raul rendition of Blue Moon is absolutely stunning, he sings it the way it was written. Great band with superb musicians, their timing is spot on.

It was a great concert. Hot as hell but it was worth it. The Mavericks got me through Covid. Hours, and hours at my desk, compiling data. Their beat made all those long hours go by fast. Glad we made the trip to NM to see them.

I met Raul in Manhattan about 25 years ago. He was playing an intimate date. One of the nicest fellows you'll ever meet. The Mavericks from their first album I was a fan. Great singer and fantastic band..

I wish i had friends like these that really loved playing instruments and good music like this. I play rhythm guitar and lead, but nobody else to play along with unfortunately.

A few months before my dad passed away unexpectedly, I had come over to visit him and mom. After a pleasant visit I began to leave and as an afterthought dad called me over to his CD collection and handed me a CD of the Mavericks Greatest Hits. He said "this guy has quite the voice, you should listen to it." That was 2005. I still have and cherish that CD today, and love the Mavericks thanks to his suggestion. My dad had a ear for great vocalists.

Best concert was the mavericks that I and wife attended about 14 years ago, it was fantastic and we both had a great time dancing in the isles. everyone was happy and excitied and dancing to the music. Got lots of close up pix of the band.

We had the pleasure to be entertained by these perfectionists in Ann Arbor MI and I would in a heartbeat see them again. My wife with her siblings as well her husband's just love there music. Truly it's there passion to entertain the crowd. Every song seeded like it was the grand finally. Over 2 hrs and just wanting more. I would encourage anyone who' os a music fan to try to see them. I personally am a polish music enthusiasts along with my brothers-in-laws Mexican with the according. We took to style immediately. Well done Mavericks!

I just found this post and I’m thrilled!!! This Mavaholic had to miss this show due to illness but It won’t happen again! I’ve been a fan from the beginning and Mavericks are the only concerts I attend. It’s hard to put into words how fabulous these guys are, but if you’ve been to their concerts I know you get it 💕They are special and that’s all there is to it!
